My daughter is almost 5 and she has a hard time entertaining herself so I can get dressed for the day or do work around the house. She has a lot of toys but rarely plays with most of them and wants to either watch t.v. or follow us around. It drives me crazy and my husband too, because she comes in our room when we tell her not to. I've threatened to throw out her toys, but it does no good. When we get angry she just laughs at us. We tried closing her up in her room but she just pounds on the door and screams that she is scared. We are expecting another child and we are afraid her behaivior is going to just get worse when the baby comes. She does not behave like this for other family that watches her. Anyone got any advice? Preferably parents who can relate to this situation and have some solutions please.
Im not a parent, but my nephew who is 5 is EXACTLY the same. He never listens. I have to babysit him everyday, its so hard to tell him to do things. If i tell him it`s time to clean up, he starts yelling and hitting me and such.

Many ways. You could make little signs and post them around public places. ( make sure you put information such as "experienced" and things like that too make the parents feel comfortable enough to call you.
Also, you could ask your family ( aunts and uncles ) If anybody they know has younger kids, and they might need babysitters.

My best guy friend wanted to kill himself. At least thats what he told me. He said it was because a girl didnt like him. He said that no one cared and that he had already tried before. It really worried me and I told him that I cared. As I was walking to the bus, it really hit me what he had said. When I got on the bus I realized that i liked him as more than a friend. The problem is, the next day he acted as if nothing happened. I'm not sure if he was telling the truth about wanting to kill himself. I'm only 13 but I have liked him for over 5 months. It a common thing to say things like that. We all go threw it. ( well most of us ) I know I have. If you really feel like he is that serious about it, tell his parents his parents will do something about it such as take him to see a consolour or something. If you dont want to be involved in that, make him realize a lot of people care. And, I dont think you have to be a certain age to love. There are all kinds of love though. You should really tell him how you feel.

okay. there is this kid that has been in love with me for like 3 years. he constantly used to bother me at school and on the internet and stuff. not to be superficial or anything like that but this kid smells so bad you can't breathe around him - no lie. two summers ago, he told me he loved me and i said " ew" and he threw a glass bottle at me. after that i didn't talk to him for a while. then i decided i was too mean and decided to talk to him again.. but his obsession with me got HORRIBLE. finally at the end of my junior year he was pestering me and i couldnt take it anymore and i screamed at him to leave me alone. then after school i was walking to work, and i saw him in my field on the way there. i freaked out and didnt know what to do so i let him talk and after that i didnt want anything to do with him because seriously this kid is MESSED UP ( like OCD and anxiety disorder). i just dont know what to do when i go back to school and have to see him again. hellllpppp!
Wow. You should try your best too avoid him, but not make it look like your ignoring him. Its sounds like he is a danger to you. If it gets too bad, maybe you should talk to someone about it. Not him, he would probably take it the wrong way.

me and my friend are together in a babysitting job and we love children so much and we just already let out flyers one,last year and once just recently the next year..on the 1st year flyer given out..no1 responded..the 2nd year one responded..liked our job..gave us $20 each for 1 1/2 hours...i know.. alot..o well..lol..back to the subject..ever since that day..no1 has responded..what should we do? send out more flyers or keep waiting or quit caring..what should we do??

You could always send out more flyers, or post it around places. A TON of people need babysitters around here, thats probably how it is there too. Just put good information... And let them know you guys are experienced and just make them feel comfortable enough too call you and offer you guys the job.

My Uncle Alan used to live with me. Although hes not very pleasent, I USED to love him and he had no problem with me either. So he moved out and my mom recently had a baby. Im 12, the baby is 1. He loves the baby so much. I dont like her at all but thats besides the point. He suddnely hates me, and he literally hates me, and loves her. He has tshirts with her on it, hundreds of pics of her on the walls, shes his DESKTOP for heavens sake!!! Why does he not like me? Hes really pissin me off. Not only this, he abuses his pets!! One had to be uthinized becuz they hurt it when it had an eating disorder!! WHAT SHOULD I DO?
He probably loves you as much as he loves the baby. When my mom had a baby, I was 11..almost same age as you... a TON of attention was taken away from me and was put onto the baby. That all my parents ever payed attention too. I think thats really common. As the baby gets older, It gets better. They just become old news.
Just tell your uncle, that you feel left out. Im sure he'll understand.

I'm stuck between two guys.. I don't know which one to choose even tho I already go out with one of them. Before I started going out with boy 1, my friend introduced me to boy 2 and things were going great. Then, I went to hershey park with boy 1 (and the rest of my school) and we hit it off! we went of every ride together and he was being such a sweetheart (and still is) and we cuddled the whole ride home! After that, we started going out. The day after we started going out I left for soccer camp and the beach, so I was gone for 2 weeks. When i came back I was hanging out with boy 1 alot and everything was going great... and then I saw boy 2 the other day at the pool.. and OMG he looked so cute! I've started talking to boy 2 a lot now.. i still talk to boy 1 a lot tho.. I'm confused about who i like more tho. I really like my boyfriend, but then i remember that if i hadnt started going out with him I'd be going out with boy 2. boy 2 still has feelings for me.. he was asking about me while i was gone and i do like him too. Try talking to your friend, and explain the situation your in. She might understand, and you can go with your sister. If not, I'd say go with your friend. Your sister will alway love you no matter what. You shouldn`t worry too much about being part of the "popular" group. Most people dont care too much... people arnt just going to stop talking to you just because your not with the "in crowd" . Your friends are just kids at heart i guess you could say. I find myself playing with my food sometimes too. If you still want too be part of popular group, you should go talk to them instead of waiting for them too come to you. If there too worried about the way your friends act, then there not going to be a true friend.
