i'd like to start my own babysitting business. how can i get started??

for starters ask your parents friends if they need any kids to babysit or even just people in the neighborhood. then you can ask them to tell people about you.. if that doesn't work try hangin signs around town! <3

Well for starters, you should learn what to do in case of an emergency. Make sure you know how to give CPR and know what to do in case of a fire, or even a scraped knee. Assuming you live with your parents... try babysitting a little sibling. If you don't have younger siblings, try friends of the family. If all goes well, you could try printing out flyers and posting them up at your local stores. Babysitting is a big responisibility, just make sure you're prepared. You could start by getting a lot of friends to help you so you can watch more than just a few kids, then you can put posters up in your neighborhood. Once you get started, save 1/5 of your money to put an ad in the newspaper, which will do wonderous promoting. Hope i helped a little

Ask around your neighborhood too see if anybody needs a babysitter. Get your parents to mention it to people at work. Make fliers and hand them out to people. Just keep putting yourself out there. If you get a job and do really well, they'll help spread the word too. You'll have lots of jobs after a while.

So at family functions for example you could pass out these flyers and tell them about what you are trying to do!! Also you can post flyers outside in your neighborhood!! Be sure to get permission!! you should take a babysitting course to get certified ( i took one from the Red Cross) to show parents you are really responsible. then you should put up flyers with your available hours, hourly rate, and phone number around where you live. you could also ask your parents to give some to co-workers. that should get you started! hope i helped- peace out

then charge at a minimum price

To start your own babysitting business you can put flyers up around your neighborhood and around your town.. On the flyers you should include how to get ahold of you, what you are doing, (not necessary but if you want to you can put how much you are charging.) Another good thing you can do is put an ad in the newspaper it costs money to do it, but it pays off in the end when people pay you to watch their kids. Good Luck.. hope i helped

Many ways. You could make little signs and post them around public places. ( make sure you put information such as "experienced" and things like that too make the parents feel comfortable enough to call you.
Also, you could ask your family ( aunts and uncles ) If anybody they know has younger kids, and they might need babysitters.

well it depends on how old you are .. because if you just mean like a little job like mowing the grass ( example ) then i would say you can start by setting up hours and then passing out flyers to let ppl know you are babysitting ... if i helped you tell me thanz .. ashley
