There are definately privacy laws for them not to tell your parents, but I'm not for sure on your case, because you are underage. That makes you illegal. I would contact your dentist anonymously and ask them these questions.

you could start taking those pills (Lybrel) that shorten your period, but none of them would work that fast, sorry.

Ok so i cant do this high school thing i'm already missing tons of work and the thing is i was going to go to Craig this high school all my friends go to but instead my mom said were going to edgerton which is only a town away from craig and so i dont know many people here and i'm not that happy but then again i dont want to go to craig now because there is people there i relly dont wanna see till i do something (long story) so anyway me my sister and our friend betsy want to do this virtual home school thing online and i've thought of tons of reason why we should do home school but my parents wont listen and i think i'll be much happier doing home school so then i could probably get my work done and i probabaly wouldnt be so stressed so how can i get my parents to see home school is the best thing for me right now (link)

parents a lot of times just don't want to talk about stuff like that, so when im in a situation like that...i make a pro-con list. Your parents will really appreciate it, because they will really be able to understand how you feel.

The same thing happened to me! I use all garnier fructis products but the best thing i got was this bottle called brilliantine shine glossing spray. After you straighten your hair you spray it on, and it makes your hair shiny and gets rid of all the frizz. I'll attach a picture of the bottle so if you buy it, it will be easy to find.

i have contacts, and i was wondering how do i clean my contact lenses case i keep them in overnight clean? is there something special i have to clean them with? (link)

I boil them mine water for about seven minutes. When you boil stuff, it kills germs. (as you probably know)
Also, if you don't trust that, you can just get a new case, they aren't that expensive and you can usually get them free at the eye-doctors office.

Yes, they can see your full name, but after you create your account you can change what they see. You go to acount, then click on name, and you can change it.
A lot of people like you choose their first name and then their middle name, but you can do what you want.

i'm a sophmore in highschool and i've never been kissed and never had a boyfriend.Please don't write "it's going to happen someday" or "just wait, it'll come soon when you're not expecting it" But, the thing is it seems like i'm the one who's scaring off all the guys though.I come off pretty mean. But it's like every time i try to tell myself to be nice or don't say anything hurtful, it happens anyway. It's like I can't control what my actions. So basically i want advice on how to be a lot less mean, and way more nice.i know it sounds stupid, but i think if i had like the right mind set then maybe i can get somewhere in my social life.

To start, if you are a sarcastic person..just stop. For some people, like me, when your sarcastic it comes off totally wrong and comes across as mean. If you hang around people who are being mean, that can affect your status. So try to have your "meaner" friends make a change for the better with you and it will be soo much easier to do it with a friend.
Also when your on your way to become a nicer person, don't start lying. People can tell when you're being genuine or fake. So instead, if you really do like Suzy Q's shoes TELL HER!
Lastly, don't make a sudden change, just work on one thing at a time. Like the first couple days say I am not going to talk about anyone behind their back. The next couple days say I won't make fun of anyone. Making little subtle changes also make the transition easier. Also if you make one sudden change people will think you are fake.
Good Luck and when you do become a nicer person, some lucky guy is gonna notice, and he'll be all over you. =)

I'm 13 and I'm about 5' 1" and I weigh 79 lbs., and I know that's in the healthy range for BMI's but I can tell I have too much fat, especially on my stomach and thighs. Anyone have any advice on how to lose it? (link)

okay so theres this guy, steven. steven is really popular, smart REALLY smart but not in a have no social skills way he just is very studious, he is nice to everyone, and he has a hot body. he has only been living in SC for a year and is moving to COLORADO! i really love him but he just likes me as a friend. he knows i like him too. it started when we slow danced at a dance. well my friend asked him to ask me, he asked me and we danced it was the happiest moment ever! but i feel like he was just doing it to be nice and it made this boy robert REALLLY mad becsue he likes me. i want to stay in touch with him he is leaving at the end of the school year and i have already started crying and we're not even dating! i wish we were but he doesnt like me that way. our lockers are next to each other, we sit by each other twice a week in town meetings and he is in my homeroom and in 2 of my classes. hes everywhere. but he is so popular his friends are always all over him or hes with the teachers bc hes just so smart! i cant bear to let him be gone forever.
i want to still keep in contact with him when he leaves i was thinking give him my street address. im afraid he wont write to me and if he doesnt, i wont know his street address :[ he doesnt have im either! im so worried.
and i want to invite him out to lunch with me and my firends [as a group thing so its not akward for him] but how do i ask him if he wont give me a chance!

If it is too embarassing for you to give him your address just trade email addresses. It would be so much easier for you to keep in contact. If that works dont send him those chain letters, those can get annoying.

my bf and i just got back together, we took a break for about 2 months. but he is out of town and can only come back once in awhile. we talk on the phone everyday, and we argue a bit about the past. but eventually get over it. last night we were talking and no arguement occured. he was being the same old sweet jon i used to know. he asked me if i have had sex with anyone since him and told him no. which is very true. he is the only guy i've had sex with ever. then i asked him the same thing, and he was like well i've had a gf while we were broken up but i broke up with her cuz i missed you too much, and we never had sex. but for some reason i don't believe him, i want us to get tested when he gets back but im worried to tell him that. i also have to tell him that while we were broken up, i had to have an abortion, with his baby. how do i tell him that. he will probably hate me, but im only 16 and it just happened and my mom made me. i would've kept it, but my mom said i have plenty of time to have a baby. what do i do.

I definately think you should get tested. Tell him that you believe him, but you want to do it for health reasons.

Visit her and tell her you are really concerned about her. Also tell Maria that it really hurt you when she didn't tell you what was going on. It is probably a hard time for her so don't come off as mean, just be really sincere.

I really really like this guy, but I'm not sure about how he is feeling at the moment.
We had been aquaintences before we met at Prom, but began to pay attention to eachother when we both were in the same picture party group, and found out that neither of us had dates. So we spent the evening together getting to know eachother and found that we're quite similar! He called me the day after telling me that he liked me and wanted to see me again. That week he called me everynight on the phone and we talked for hours.
About a week after prom, we went on our first date. (this date was also my very first date too! so it was special) We had a great time, and I let him kiss me. (It was also my first kiss!)
We see eachother sometimes at school and he always seems happy to see me.
But heres the thing, it's been two weeks after our date, I see him less and less at school now, and and he hasn't called me once! He told my friend that he really really likes me but might possibly be too busy to make things official.
Of course I really want us to be Boyfriend/girlfriend, but I'm also fine with going a little bit slower to accomodate his schedule.
So, what should I do? Its killing me how sparsely I see him, and I feel like some of the magic is being lost with less and less contact. He makes me incredibly happy when we're together, and I really like him and don't want to lose him. This is my first 'relationship' so I have no idea what to do!

There's this guy, Jack. He's friends with a lot of my camp friends, and I've started talking to him online. He's really great, but I haven't met him in person yet. I want to, but we live like, half an hour away. And the camp friends that he knows aren't greattt friends of mine, and I don't really see them a lot. However, I think if I could get invited to one of their places I'd meet him, cause he's constantly with them.
