well there is this guy that i like and im not sure if he likes me. we talk at school and he likes to joke around with me adn make fun of me, but he always smiles and is happy around me. i just want to knwo if he likes me, what do you people think?

Well, if I were you (which I'm not, but just listen for a second), I would either try asking one of his friends if he likes you, or you could just ask him yourself. I was in the same position a couple of days ago with one of my guy friends, and I just wrote him a note telling him that I liked him and asking him out. And, surprisingly enough, he said yes! So now we are going out and all. You just have to realize that life's to short to wait around for someone, and that sometimes you just have to be brace (as hard as this can be!) and tell a guy how you feel about him and find out if he feels the same way. I really think you can do it, you just have to be brave! Good luck and please tell me what you do and what he says!

Wow. That sounds like me. Like if I were going to ask a question about a kid that I like, that would be my question.

ided that life is too short to wait around to find out if someone likes you or not, so my adviec to you is: just go for it. If he says no, ask him if you can still be friends. And if he says yes: you will be SO happy that you asked him.

Hey I have wrote before but I took out some of the names out of the choices that I wanted you guys to help me with.. I like unique names btw.. not like John or Matthew.. just so my baby will be most likely the only one in his class with that name.. I am about to get my braces off in april. My question is does it hurt when they take em of and also how long does it take thx I rate every one

Aw man you're lucky! I don't get mine off for about another year. But my friend recently had hers removed, and she said it took about half an hour to 45 minutes. She also said that it didn't really hurt much to get them off. She also told me that her teeth felt really slimy afterwards. Sorry but that's all I know!

My cats names are: Magic, Patches, Nico, and Poesje (means "little cat" in Dutch!)

I cant get a foundation to match my skin, because I am so pale. Does anyone know any good brands?

Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse works great on almost anyone's skin! I would recommend either shade #1 (extremely light) or shade #2 (still pretty light). This stuff works REALLY well on my skin, and I'm quite pale too. It's kind of pricey ($9), but is worth it because it lasts for a very long time.

alright. for about two years i have been cutting myself. and at first it was very innocent (little scratches with saftey pins... butter knifes, things like that) then one day i ginaed access to a really sharp razor blade and cut extremely deep. and for a year and a half thats how i have been doing it, because it is so addictive. more than once a day, and so i can go to sleep at night. most of my friends found out, one way or another and eventually my best friend got me to tell the guidance counselor. my dad now knows, and so does my psychiatrist (whom i have been seeing since I was 8 and my mom died). but i know he doesnt want me doing it, and niether do my friends. so latelyt i havent. but things got worse. im always pissed off at everyone, and lash out. also, i have been thinking about suicide more and more. i always considered it before but never like this. but when i talk to my friends, all the do is beg and pleed with me to stop. I CANT. when i was on the bus, i started tasting blood in my mouth, and noticed I had been bitting a chunk of my lip off as a pain reliever involuntarily. last night, I cut again and felt SOOO much better. but im so afraid someone will find out and be angry. im on medicine, and everything, it just sux. snapping rubberbands, and all that doesnt help. I know this is long, but im so upset with myself, I just dont know.

Ok, I would like you to think about this for a second. How many people love you? How many people would be devastated if you commited suicide? Your dad, friends, and other family members must all love you to death. Not only is commiting suicide horrible for you (b/c it is obviously ending your life), but imagine how it would affect others. Sorry to say this, but it's kind of selfish if you think about it. Everyone that loves you would be devasted. What if you commited suicide, and then one of your friends followed suit b/c you did it, all b/c she missed you? All suicide can lead to is BAD things.
I would suggest you get professional help with your cutting problems & suicide thoughts too. Instead of thinking about all the negative things in your life, focus in on the positive things. Think about everyone that loves you, and everything that you have going for you.

hey... im 14/f and i weigh 91 lbs. and ppl think im aneroxic and when i say im not they say im belimic! and im not and think that making urself throw up and not eating is gross. i eat all the time like almost everytime u see me i have food in my hand haha and i can eat something and say im full and then like an hour later i'll say im hungrey again. I have a fast metabolism and i really wanna try n gain weight, my new years resolution is to get over 100 lbs. so please can someone help me on trying to gain weight! thanks bunchez

Wow...that sounds like i asked that question! People call me anorexic & bulim all the time. yeah i'm 89 pounds 5'4. Hmmm...all i can say is try and work out as much as possible. That's what I do, and it seems to be helping a bit. I also ride horses & do tumbling, and it's helping me gain more muscle. Well, all I can say is that at least when you're older you won't have to worry about your weight!

Well, since I'm not religious, I can't really answer you question since you are asking why 'god' put us on the earth. How do we even know there is a god?
Maybe we were put on this earth to make a difference and an impact on others. Who really knows? If I were you though, I would just try live your life to it's fullest extent!

Yes it is bad for your knuckles if you crack them constantly. If it happens accidentaly and only once in a while, it is fine, but if you do it too much it will increase your risk of getting arthritis when you are older. What happens when you crack your knuckeles is that you are forcing joint fluid to very quickly pass from one side of the joint to the other, and it breaks of the cushion that is between the two joints (this cushion stops your bones from grinding together, and when you crack your knuckles it causes damage to the lining). The sound that it creates is simply the high pressured rushing of fluid.

Im afraid of getting braces cause my friend got them and they hurt for 3 days (I get really scared pretty easily). Im gettin them soon. Do they hurt wen u get them on? What happens if you lose a tooth while they're in? What happens if a tooth growns in while you hav them in? Please help......im scared.

Well for everyone it is different, but yes your braces are going to hurt for a couple of days. Just take some medicine so that it numbs your mouth a little for the next few days, and eat soft food such as ice cream, soup, and milkshakes. If a tooth grows in while you have your braces on, the ortho will wait until the tooth has grown in sufficiently for a bracket to fit on it.
Good luck with getting your braces. Even though it might not seem worth it the trouble & pain right now, in 2 years time you will have a beautiful smile!

I like this guy at my school. I'm not sure if he likes me or not. He's a senior and I'm a freshman. We are friends, and his best friend is my brother. I want to become more than friends, but I'm not sure if he does. My parents and my siblings don't think I should date or anything of that sort. This guy is not like any other guy I know. He's special, I just don't know how to tell him that. I'm also not sure if he likes me. Whenever he's doing something, he always persuades me to go. And if I'm not going to do something, he then says, "well then I'm not going." I don't want to say anything because that would be awkward at school and church. I'm not sure what to do, should I go for it and ask him or not!?!?! Sorry its so long!

You could start flirting with this guy, and see if he flirts with you too. If you were too afraid to ask him how he felt about you, you could maybe casually ask your brother if his friend likes anybody. If you're not afraid to ask the guy how he feel about you, then go for it! You could also write him a note asking him. It definetely sounds like he likes he, though!

whats the difference between being christian and catholic?

Knowing very little about this, I am having a guest answer this (i'm athiest).

if you are catholic you worship Jesus and Mary which is Jesus' mother and so they believe that they should worship her too. christianity is when you believe that you only worship Jesus and that is because that is one of the ten commandments so they worship only one peron and that is the difference between catholic and christianity!!

Okay here is the problem my friend just turned 12 last week but her room looks a little kiddish with like pink wallpaper,horse models and so on but she wants her room to look like a 12 year old kid's room but her mom will not let her get new furniture or paint her walls.So does anyone have any ideas on how she could make her room look good without getting new furniture and stuff?I will rate fives to anyone who helps with this room emergency no matter if your advice is not very good!!!

Well, first of all she could put the things that she thinks are "little kiddish" in her closet. She could also hang up posters w/ something that will do minimum damage to her walls (maybe tacks, they might leave a tiny hole in the wall but it doesn't rip the paint of). She could also save up some money and buy some cheap new stuff, such as some cute throw pillows to go on her bed, or a nice lamp. Another idea is take some christmas tree lights and wrap them around things. I did this, and it looks awesome at night!!!

does anyone know what kind of job an 11 year old could get(this is for my sister)

Well there aren't many things she can do, but she can always babysit, mow lawns, or pet sit. Another great idea is for her to go around to your neighbors that have dogs, and have her hand out fliers. I did this when I was 12, and I got a couple of dogs to walk for $2 for a 20 minute walk. It's also way easier walking a dog than mowing a lawn or watching little kids! Hope I helped

Okay, so. I am getting new clothes and I really want to shop at Hollister. My mom will probably give me around $150 and I dont think thats enough. So I'm going to be saving up money...so I want an idea of how much money their shirts, jeans, jackets are. I'll rate 5's.

Well, for shoes converse & vans are in for pretty much everyone. hollister, american eagle, abercrombie and fitch, pac sun, etc are all in. No matter what you choose wear though, don't forget that you should wear what you WANT to wearn, not just what is "in". Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in, and wear it like your proud! (most of trends are started by someone wearing something different than the norm, and looking confident while doing so).
