14/f i am going to be a freshman in highschool next year and when i get ready for school i just put my hair in a ponytail and jeans and a oversized sweatshirt. i dont take the time to get ready because my bus comes at 6:00a.m. and i dont like to wake up early. but for highschool i want to look good. not perfect...just put together. what are some ways that i can do my hair and waht style of clothes should i wear that are simple, dont take too much time to look nice (so i can sleep in alittle) and not have to wake up at 5:00. thanks! ill rate!

if you pick out what you want to wear the night before it makes things a great deal easier. jeans and a polo are simple. you could also get some bracelets and some earrings ((if ur ears are pieced)) and it would be a simple way to look put together in the morning. white skirts to your knees and polos with bracelets also look cute. if you put on a little eye liner that can make a big difference too.

What do i do when i have an abuse of mother, who has mode swings, and is VERY abuse of somtime, its starting to be more abuseive than not, i am scared to tell anyone cause i know that it will come back to her and she will hurt me, like last week i didnt do my chores and she twisted my wrist, and now i have a sprained wrist.

i think you should really talk to your dad about this whole situation, and if he doesnt do anything i would suggest you tell an adult, even if its really hard for you to do. teachers are really good listeners and will almost always help you out. i'm really sorry about you situation and i hope it gets better for your sake and your sisters.

ok i am 13 and a gurl and i play foot ball, i am always tesed and i never get a date with a guy my age because they think i am a guy girl.....but what they dont under stand is that i love to play foot ball...BUT I AM STILL A GIRL!! so if i wear a skirt to school i always get tesed on how i cant tackle in that and that i am gettin to girly to play the sport that i love...so tell me how can i tell these guys that i am still a gurl even though i could kick there ass if i wanted?

you've defintly got the right attitude about this whole situation. i think you should wear whatever you want to school, including skirts, and just to tell them to shove it where the sun dont shine because one day they will wish other girls shared you love of football. i mean what guy DOESNT want a girlfriend who actually understands the game and would watch the super bowl with him?

my gf is really shy and its hard to talk to her cause she changes the subject i know she loves me cause she tells me ALL! the time......which i like to hear.....and i want to know wut i can do to make her not as shy....and to tell me how she feels and stuff.....and a question for other girls what can i say to her to let her know i love her with out saying it.....lik to prove it i want her to be blown away so what can i say to her that she will love?

lots of girls are really shy at first and eventually she will be more open with you, as long as you are open with her and tell her your feelings. when you're around her make sure all of your attention is on her. hold her hand, give her kisses.. that sort of stuff. also, calling her and writing her little notes that simply say "i love you" really do get the message across.

I've confided a lot in total strangers lately. On this i mean. I'm happy with that it makes me feel ssecure that it cant come back on me. Any how friends of the realm. I have found myself incredibly angry these last few years. Im 16 years old and i am probably sufering from something beyond me. I jus want to know. How can i control this anger or what ways are there too redirect it. I'm only concerned because i'm starting to hit things like punch walls and anything close to hand; alll the time!! And can anyone possibly give any clues as to what this could be. All help greatly appreciated.

I'm not really sure what your anger could be(i would suggest seeing a therapist or phychatrist if you really want to know). i know i get really angry sometimes like just in generally its that "mad at the world" kind of anger and stuff, and what helps me is just laying on my bed with NIRVANA turned up loud. i would suggest buying this CD, its like a "best of" CD, and its black with silver letters that say NIRVANA on the cover. Atreyu is also very good. All i do is put one of these CDs in and just lay on my bed with my eyes closes listening to the music, and it really helps me.

you know how girls have their periods? well what do guys have?

guys dont go through anything like our periods, but they still grown through puberty and stuff. its not fair, but you know youd defintly rather be a girl! ;)

ok so last summer i got a haircut rite? it came out HORRIBLE, too WAY TOO short! i was so embaressed. so i went to a professional place and it got even worse. i was ALWAYS getting made fun of and i hated it. well the past school year i whore my hair up every single day! now i want my hair to grow really long but since the last haircut i got was a year ago, i dont think my hair will grow. i dont want to "get a trim" cause i want it to grow! should i just snip a tiny bit of hair off myself? please help!

you defintly need to get a trim because it gets rid of spilt ends, and in reality makes your hair grow quicker. dont snip anything off youself because you could really be doing more harm to your hair than help.

Is it true that layers of hair actually grow faster than the regular hair,because they must catch up? please help,i sort of need hair-experts..or researched information,i cant seem to find this to be a fact or not

Its false. I have layered hair, and it all grows pretty much at the same rate.

i wanna dye my hair but my parents wont let me do anything. i heard about dying your hair with kool-aid and i thought it would be cool to just do my hair tips red, so i could easily get my hair cut and it would come out. i have long hair so i could get it cut and it wouldnt be a problem. i have bown hair, and its like a tinybit lighter than normal brown. would it work for my hair? how do you do it? do you just soak it for a while? if so how long? i ave the kool-aid and everything, so i would apreciate it if some one could help out. thanks xoxox

yeah, my friend Lizzie did it, and it worked just fine. I'm not really sure how she did it but I would imagine you pour the koolaid into a container and miz a little water in there and soak it. The koolaid washes out(after 2-3 days), so you dont have to worry about cutting it!

I absolutely hate my hair. I have thick light brown hair with blonde highlights. When i say thick.. i mean really thick. I have anywhere from 5-10 minutes in the morning to do my hair. Besides the everyday ponytail... what can i do to my hair? I am taking coloring, cutting, and styling ideas.

If you get your hair layered((all around your head, not just by your face)) it will dramatically decrease the thickness.

Its Summer 2005 and I am a 13 year old girl entering 8th grade. I have hair that is a couple inches past my shoulder when its strait but its usaly wavy inless i straiten it which takes a max of 10 minutes. I have medium thicknes so that doesnt realy stop me from doing things with my hair. I usaly pull it half up and half down with a clip or pony tail, I almost never wear it down, or I will poll it all up becuase i have to for cheerleading ( I am a cheerleader if that helps any) I need somthing diffrent! School starts in 6 weeks and i want somthing diffrent that is nice. My hair looks best when i have half of it clipped up and half down if that helps any too? Could someone give me some pictures or ideas? That would be greatly apperiated!!!!
Maybe you guys could tell me what you like a girls hair most? Like what styles do you love? That would help also!

If you go to the salon and get your hair layed, around your face, it will be more noticeable, and its an easy style to maintain. My hair is layered, and Its long enough to put up in a ponytail when I play soccer, and run track, so it should be good if you're going to cheerlead. Highlights can also damatically change they way you look.

Some really easy topics are; sports, music, and each other. Its really easy to talk about anything you both have in common. If you can get him to laugh then things will get much easier, laughing really breaks any barrier.

i am going to camp this week, and my ex boyfriend will be there.
we broke up in april and we haven't really talked since.
he came up to me at chruch once and apologized for what he did, but i don't think he really meant it because he still acts like a jerk towards me.
my question is, how can i have an awesome time at camp without thinking about my stupid ex?

It'll probably be really hard not to think about him, but just keep telling yourself that he's ajerk and not worth your time. Hang out with your friends and keep yourself occupied. If he tries to talk to you, or something, just tell him how you see it: that he may have apologized but he still acts like a jerk.

idk what to do...i was "together" with this guy.(im 13/f-hes 14/m) hes a grade older than me but we got to know eachother this year and started going "together" this march i think. well hes really really really busy w/ sports and we used to talk atleast like 3 hours everyday. now hes going to hs and hes been acting like a jerk lately. he hasnt talked to me in a long time, and he was talking to my friend and said that its not gonna work out, but he wont talk to me so hes leaving it up for me to figure it out even though i know already. what should i do, cus im having a hard time moving on...thanks.

I think this guy seems like a real jerk if he doesnt have the balls to tell you himself that its not going to work out. I think you should call him and tell him that obviously, things are not working out and you're sorry they had to end like this. This guy is not worth your time, and soon you'll find someone who is!

I think you should show up one day at her house with some flowers (roses are nice), and a small gift and explain to her that you really do love her and you would never ask another girl out.

I have been married for 5 years and have been with my husband for 6 years. He is a Army soldier. We have lived in Germany for the past 4 and half years. My husband just recently told me that our hole marrige was based on lies, and that he has never been in love with me!!!! He told me the truth about everything!!!! He has cheated on me so many times that he can't remember!!!!! My question is what can I get in the divorce? Do we have to split everything, and can I make him pay for pain and suffering?
