Ok, I'm an advicenator and always hate the boy questions, because there's so many, but now I actually have one, haha. I really like this guy, Drew. Last year, he ate in my lunch and we had chorus together. We flirted a lot. Like, at lunch, we would feed each other french fries! He was a little goofy-looking, but I still liked him. He even asked me to the Snowball, but it got cancelled. Well, this year, I hardly ever see him at all. I've only seen him a couple times. And he really changed. He cut his hair, so it's short and he spikes it, and highlighted it, so it's lighter. He's also wearing preppy clothes now. What I'm trying to say is...he got really hot. I mean, I still like him, not just for his hotness, but that's a huge bonus. Well I tried asking him to Homecoming, but he already had a date. So I figured I'd just ask him to Sadies. Well his date for Homecoming asked him to Sadies already. I don't know what to do. I know they're not going out. I never felt this way about a guy, which scares me! My friend and I are thinking about asking him and my other friend Sam to the movies next Saturday. What should I do???? I like him so much!!! Oh, and I'm pretty sure he knows I like him already.

Just be straight with him and be like, "Do you have a girlfriend". It would clear up a lot of things! If he says, "yes" then just be happy for him =) If he says, "no" then ask him out! im more of a sports girl and i was thinking about joining martal arts again(i had to stop when i moved). the problem is i dont use tampons. i am worried about getting a leak when i do kicks and stuf (i have to wear white). how should i keep this from happening? should i start to wear tampons?

It's up to you. I would personally give tampons a shot if that was the case, but not wearing them doesn't cause any harm either! You can wear pads and still be leak-free! Tip: wear two pads back to back and you'll be covered ! Good luck hun

Aight, I love this girl, we're both 13. Don't bother telling me that 13 year olds don't know love, and that it's only infatuation. I know what love is, and I know what infatuation is. And I don't give a damn about hot, sexy, etc. So anyway, I love her, I've told her that. She knows how madly in love with her I am. Problem is, she's not sure if she likes me back. Oh, sure, I've asked her places, like recently we went to the carnival as 'friends'. I mean, she's a great girl... hilarious, smart, amazing personality... what more could I ask for?

Anyway, the first school dance is coming up. I've never been to a dance. Yeah, last year my parents signed me up for a social dance program, but you don't ask people there, it's just to learn how to dance. And it's only like the cha-cha and everything you'll never use. So I really want to ask her there with no chance of rejection. Ever since I saw her as more than a friend I've been tormented by a sudden flurry of emotions. Love! Hate! Jealousy! Rejection! You name it! I don't want to face the bad ones again... for a while I was too depressed to make jokes---and I'm the class clown! So I don't want to be depressed again, what's a good way for me to ask her out? In short, I'm shy, I love her more than anything else, I don't give a damn about looks, she doesn't like me, I need to ask her to a dance somehow. Emphasis on shy. Thanks!

Hey there! Well if you she loves you back you shouldn't worry about all these things! Just take a few deep breaths, look her in the eye and ask her out! Some creative ways: write it in on a chit of paper and slip it in her locker, or send her a card/flowers that say "will you go with me to the dance?" in the card. If you have trouble asking her, then before you ask her get a friend to go up to her and say, "Ohh I heard that (your name) is gonna ask you to the dance today"..just so she's prepared. Or maybe even call her and ask her...I reccomend this one the most. That way it's 1) not face to face 2) better than IM'ing because she can hear your voice 3) you don't have to deal with the shame of embarassment face to face IF she rejects you (which I'm sure she won't!). Or you could ask her over an IM. That way the face-to-face interaction is not there and neither is the ackwardness. Also, over AIM, if she rejects you, you don't have to deal with it face to face there. Just be like..."hey omg that'd be soo awesome if you & I went together for the dance..I mean that'd be great, what do you think?" Just remember, if she rejects you, SHE'S the one missing out, not you. Good luck!

ok well i have this best friend. i love her to death but she gets annoying. she thinks that all the guys love her, and she lies to make people think she is telling the truth. for instance she would be all like "Yah he hugged me and he grabbed my ass" and i would be standing there watching the whole time and that never happened. this happens ALLLLL THE TiME!!!! i dont want to say anything to her because i kno she will take it the wrong way and blow it out of purportion(sp?) it just makes me soooooooo mad because i would be standing RiGHT THERE and she would say sumthing happened to a group of ppl and it never happened and if i say anything she will be like, "uhm yes it did!!!" and say something to embarass me. what can i do!!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?! i rate 5's!!

Hmm just tell her that you really need to talk to her in private. Then when she listens to you, and you two are together privately just tell her the things she does that irritates you. Hopefully she'll understand, and help her & give suggestions for her to change. If she doesn't care less, it's time for a new friend + if thats how she acts, you deserve better! you have no motivation. it means that you've recently lost or given up in a lot of things that you've wanted. Just have fun with friends, and try to see the positive side of things. If things get too bad, see a counselor. Wish the best of luck.

Hi! im 11 years old . i dont like babysitters! so,
whenever colline[babysitter] comes over i play tricks on her. Ex.-steal money from purse-hide
keys under bed-put plastic bugs in her hair while she sleeps.Am i an evil little witch? is it right to play tricks on her?-thanks!-P.S.-you seem like a nice person. i wish you would babysit me!

awe thanks for the compliments!!! -And sorry for the delay on the response! I definitely do not think you are an 'evil little witch' for doing all these things to your babysitter, but it also isn't considerate! Why don't you try telling your parents that you don't like your babysitter - and maybe you can find a better, nicer one that way. Another thing you can do would be to have a little 'chat' with your babysitter and tell her to stop doing the things that you want her to stop doing. Try and get it settled between you guys, but if not, then go on to the parental talk and getting a new babysitter etc. But if you want complete riddance of a baby sitter - show your parents you are mature enough to handle it in creative ways.

You have two options:

1) Tell your current boyfriend that you'd like some time off...not really 'dump' him but just say you need a little break because its taking a little too much out of your time.

or you could

2) Dump your current boyfriend if you have more feelings for your best friend, and from the looks of it I think you do ;). If you choose this, then don't take things too fast with your friend or else you'll make the friendship worse.

The option of what to do it all in your hands, but whichever one you take, it'll be fine!

2. Should I wear them to bed?
3. How many should I carry with me?
4. Where should I put them? I don't carry a backpack...or a purse.

I really want to be an actress is there any tips or any like camps i could go to?

Yeah!! Go to belvoir terrace for the summer, the link is http://www.belvoirterrace.com/ . It is supposed to be a good acting camp to go to. You could take private lessons from an acting coach. Be involved in these around you community as well, and if you have any plays in your school/city, audition for them! The best thing to do is be calm and make a fool of yourself!! Thats the best tip I can give you, if you're afraid of making a fool of yourself then you're not really acting. Also, if you want to go as a professional actress (those who make money off of it) then hire an agent and he'll take you from there. There is a guy I like at school and today, when the last bell rang, i saw him walking in front of me to the busses. He turned around and looked right at me. if he really is THAT bad...then he won't get very far and you shouldn't worry about it. But if you want to stop him from being hurt then just be like "hmm you can sing okay, but I think you have some better talents and youre singing is not going to get you very far, but I'm just bein honest." He might get mad at you at first, but he'll realize its for his own good later on and its to prevent him from getting hurt.

IM 14 yrs old and i have a pretty bad life. Im not suicidal or anything. Ive had a pretty bad past. My brother andrew hurts me he will kick me in the stomach and ribs and yell at me and it got so bad my mom called the cops. He threatend me and my moms life. I called him in detention (kids jail) and he said there was nothing to be said to me and he wants nothing to do with me and he will never find away to forgive me or forget. Now he is being senet away. my mom is never home. I told her we need some serious talking to do and we need to talk It took a long time to come out of that shell and tell her that. She just told me she has to go to her boyfriends house. I was shocked. She leaves me for her BOYFRIEND. When her own daughter needs help! I was in treatment i was sent away for 5 months. Nothing really changed over that. Im not a virgin the only reason why is because i feel thats the only thing that makes me feel wanted. Just to be "loved" for that period of time. I was thinking of the long run. Now my friend offered me to live with her for as long as i needed. To sort things out. Me and my friend had some pretty ruff times we actually we're best friends but i screwed up and that ended it but she was still there for me. So she offered a home for me. Shes not into that stuff sex, drugs, or drinking. Im trying to get away from that but its hard. Like i said... i feel like i belong then. SO how do i tell my mom that i want to just not leave her but i need a break. For a bit. my friend said that we could get both of our moms together and me and her would sit down and we would talk it out. I dont want my mom to think she is a bad mother i just need a "mother" figure there for me that i can talk to. And wont leave on me when i need help. So help me please. This is and maybe a change of life.

Okay you DEFINITELY need a counselor, someone you can just TALK to...I definitely think the 'going to your friends house' idea will work. That seems like an awesome plan and you should go for it! You could stay there until things get better. Talk it out with your friend because she also seems like shes having problems with HER mom. The four of you (you, your mom, your friend, your friend's mom) could all sit together and talk about it. If all else fails, according to the law, you would need to go to a foster home under the care of someone else, which may not be bad at all for you!! Think about it, it's all up to you.
