For example in Chicago they have the Steppenwolf theatre, which was started by John Malkovich and Gary Sinise, which have programs for teens. Check it out ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)).
But a lot of theatres have education programs like that, so you can contact the theatre and ask them.

advicequeen answered Monday January 24 2005, 10:52 pm: Yeah!! Go to belvoir terrace for the summer, the link is [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) . It is supposed to be a good acting camp to go to. You could take private lessons from an acting coach. Be involved in these around you community as well, and if you have any plays in your school/city, audition for them! The best thing to do is be calm and make a fool of yourself!! Thats the best tip I can give you, if you're afraid of making a fool of yourself then you're not really acting. Also, if you want to go as a professional actress (those who make money off of it) then hire an agent and he'll take you from there. Good luck and need any more help WHATSOEVER you know where my inbox is ;) [ advicequeen's advice column | Ask advicequeen A Question ]
