im more of a sports girl and i was thinking about joining martal arts again(i had to stop when i moved). the problem is i dont use tampons. i am worried about getting a leak when i do kicks and stuf (i have to wear white). how should i keep this from happening? should i start to wear tampons?
LoveNJstyle answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 7:14 pm: well i've done martial arts and tremendous amounts of sports and the best thing to do is at least TRY to wear tampons. it will save you the agony! (i wouldnt even think of going to tae kwon do with a pad!) if you must tho, wear your undies and spandex underneath just in case. i know it sounds really weird but it will stop it from going through (at least temporarily...it helped for running, im sure it will work for this) and you can you have something after and no one should care. thats just an idea. or you can just not go on the days your heavy. goodluck! <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
advicequeen answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 6:03 pm: It's up to you. I would personally give tampons a shot if that was the case, but not wearing them doesn't cause any harm either! You can wear pads and still be leak-free! Tip: wear two pads back to back and you'll be covered ! Good luck hun
EvilCheshire answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 5:43 pm: I would suggest tampons for that kind of thing. Pads can be rather uncomfortable and you'll always be worrying if you're leaking which could really take a toll on your performance in class.
