Q: 14/f

what nail polish colors would look best on me?

I have blonde hair and eyes that change from anywhere from light blue to dark blue to green to grey.
I am not pale, I am lightly tanned, but I will be getting very tan when I go to hawaii and the bahamas this summer.

what colors of polish would be best?

thanks!
Hearing your complexion, hair color, and eye color, I could see a hot purple looking really good on you. Also, you could try white. That color is hard to pull off and usually only looks good on fairly tanned skin.

Q: hey guy i downloaded movies from limewire and ive tried everything to get the onto itunes because i want them on my ipod but nothing works, does anyone know how? thanks in advance!
This is what I do: 1) Drag the songs from limewire onto your desktop 2) Double click the file on the desktop 3) The file should automatically open up in iTunes because it should be your default mp3 player and begin playing. Once the songs are floating around on the desktop, it can be kind of annoying to keep them all scattered so I just made a "Limewire Downloads" folder that I drag all the songs into. DON'T delete them from your desktop once they are in iTunes because they will no longer play without a "source." I hope this make sense. Let me know if you need any clarification.

Q: when you do the compare people thing, is it totally anonymous as long as you check the box that says not to notify them? does it say anything about it?

and also, can you somehow see what you were voted for?
Yes, it is anonymous if you un-check the box that notifies your friends. It will not notify them at all after you do this. They can only see how random, anonymous users voted by clicking "Rankings" toward the bottom of the Compare People Box. You can also add a box to your profile that shows how you are ranked to all your friends.

Q: my best friend left for summer camp yesterday and shes gonna be gone a week. when i say best friend mean it. we do everything together. i went on vaca with her i sleep over her house almost every night. im with her all day 9am to about 11pm everynight we have a fire and stuff with mores. and now shes gone for the week i wrote her a letter and sent it today with smoes in it.lol. buyt im bored out of my mind. does anyone know something i could do to passs the week MUCH MUCH quicker?
This week without your BFF could actually end up to be a really good thing for you! Can you call up some of your other friends that your'e not as close to and see if they want to catch a movie? Or, you can try hanging out with your family a couple nights of the week. I know it doesn't sound like fun, but during the teenage years of our lives, we tend to push away our parents and just want to hang out with our friends. I know I'm guilty of that! You can also read, catch up on a tv series, get your room organized for the school year, or take up a new hobby (like art or knitting). A week isn't too long, and I'm sure you'll find some fun things to do to entertain yourself until your friend comes home!

Q: I'm not really sure if this goes here, but it seems most suitable.

Everytime I wear eyeliner on the lower eyelid it smudges like crazy. I don't think it's because of sweat because well it says waterproof, and on other people even when they do, it doesn't smudge.

How can I fix this without leaving the lower lid un-eyelinered. Does darker eyeshadow work better?
Instead of using eyeliner on the bottom lid, I simply apply a small amount of mascara to the lower lashes. At the same time, I push the brush to my lower lid as well so it appears as though I'm wearing eyeliner on the bottom. Does that make sense? Also, I apply a beige powder right under my eyes (wear darker circles tend to be) to soak up the excess moisture that can cause that area to smudge.

Q: It seems like everytime I recently get up from sitting or laying, i get a really dizzy head and start to black out. and then my feet start feeling really heavy and weak. especially when walking up or down the stairs. it gets really scary.

does anyone know what this is? a blood pressure issue?
This definitely sounds like a blood pressure issue, however, if you are concerned, a doctor can definitely help you out more than any of us. Are you eating small snacks throughout the day? This may help increase your blood pressure. If the problem persists though, please get help! =]

Q: i recently bought these pair of abercrombie denim shorts...

http://www.abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10051_10901_317551_-1_12250_12203

and i washed them today for the first time.
when i washed them i washed by instruction which was the following...

machine wash cold
inside out with like colors
don't bleach
tumble dry low

which i did. but when they came out.
the buttom ripped part got all freyed
and has many long strings in bunches that kinda
resemble yarn. and they just look trashy and ugly now.

i was wondering if i did something wrong
or what i cna do to make them look better.
or if this has happened to anyone else and
their solution. thank you so much.!!
Wow! Those are super cute! Well, when I have jeans/skirts that are freyed on the edges, I just wash them, and then let them air dry. Also, you had it on the gentle cycle right? That may have been a slight problem. Even doing that to my clothes, they still get a little worse, so I just cut off the extra freying that I don't want. I leave some though, because I think it looks cute.

Q: wat could i sell on ebay tht would make lots of money so i can buy a xbox 360
You can always sell the basics. They won't earn you a whole bunch of cash at once, but as you continue to sell, your total income can end up being pretty high. Do you have any old clothes that are only slightly worn? Do you have any jewelry that your parents wouldn't mind you selling? If you also get a hold of concert tickets, those go pretty well on eBay. Don't overprice things though, because people are expecting to see pretty reasonable prices. If you are hoping to make a lot of extra cash quickly, you can try getting a part-time job. Or, if you're not old enough, you can ask your parents if you can do extra things around the house for some cash.

Q: Ok so I am in the middle of doing a TAFE course.. could you guys please help me out with this question. Thanks...

Why do managers of a business encourage their employees to participate in continuous learning?

Thanks heaps guys :)
Businesses want their employees to keep learning so that they can have continuous process improvement for the individual and the organization. Employees need to constantly be updated on the their employers' strategies and guidelines. Does this make sense?

Q: I was wondering does anyone know any songs
about a close friend who is treating you like shit lately, and is blowing you off for a boy,
either will be fine.

Or just any good songs about friendships dying.

thanks
"Complicated" by Avril Lavigne is actually really good. It is about a friend ditching you and trying to be popular.

Q: Hello. :]

I'm going to a party in the middle of August, and I really want to be able to salsa. I already know the VERY basics, and I pick up to dance rather well.

I'm most intersted in the flips that the girls do over the guys' arms, but anything awesome is appreciated.

Does anyone have any websites or other free resources (including personal advice) that they could give me?

Oh, and a quick Google search only showed videos not available online for free, which is what I'm really looking for.

Thank you. :]
http://video.google.com/videosearch?um=1&tab=wv&ie=UTF-8&rls=DVXB%2CDVXB%3A2005-06%2CDVXB%3Aen&q=salsa%20videos

That link has TONS of salsa videos. I tried specifically looking for flips, but maybe you'll have more luck. Also, I'm not sure if you'd be interested in this, but at the 24 Hour Fitness I go to the offer weekly "Latin Spice" classes. I know that you can also sign up for a week for free, but remember if you're under 18, a parent has to come with you the first time to sign off on your safety. The class offers basic Latin dance instructions, but I am unsure as to whether they offer that class at the gym near you.

good luck at your party-

Have you tried Yahoo! games? They have tons of games, and they have them in every category: including card and boardgames. There are some downloadable games, but obviously you don't have to play those.

Q: Where can I get a cheap crimper(crimps your hair, wavy look) that works good? I'm not willing to spend a lot of money(over $20.) Thanks!
I've had this one since 4th grade, and it hasn't disappointed me yet! Hah! It's a Conair 4-in-one. It does straightening, crimping, waving, and micro-crimping.

Q: I work as a service clerk in a drugstore, usually in 8-hour shifts. During this time I am either running around stocking things, helping people find things, or ringing people up, so I'm obviously on my feet the entire time. I am not allowed to wear sneakers or open-toed shoes, but by the end of the day my feet are killing me. I've tried wearing flats, vans, heels, kitten heels, and boots but they all were painful. Anyone have (a) any suggestions for close-toed, comfy shoes, or (b) any ideas to stop the pain?
Alright, you've got to invest in these shoes right here called "Shoes for Crews". They're non-slip and they don't hurt your feet. They also come in various styles, and you can order them online!

Q: What would be the female version of the name 'Clive' I need it for this comedy thing I'm doing tomorrow...the closest I can think is 'Claudia'
Claudia works, but what about "Clivette". Or, you could possibly use Carissa/Clarissa.

Q: hi, 15/m. well i really want to do well in life, but most of the time, when i have important homeowrk to do, i just cant be bothered to do it. like ill be all "i'll do it later" and i keep aying that, and convincing myself ill have enough time, and then when i do it at the last minute, i dont have enough time to do it, or dont do it properly, because i didnt have time to research it. how can i be more willing to work, and not put it off? thanks.
Hey. I'm not too convinced that you have ADD because I go through this a lot, yet I don't have a disorder of the sort. You are simply at a young age where your mind may be easily destracted. When I begin to say I'll do it later, the one that makes me rethink that decision is thinking of what happens when I procrastinate. Which is that I start getting very stressed, and I get mad at myself for waiting so long to do the activity! What also helps me get more done with more time is to make myself a schedule. I schedule a little more time than I expect just in case things take longer, and I feel awesome when I accomplish something earlier than planned.

Q: I recently just started working at a bakery . im only working weekends becuase of the fact i speak spanish and on the weekends the put out all the spanish pastries which attract many spanish speaking people and all the american girls dont like working with those customers because they dont speak spanish. so they decided to hire me to make it easier to communicate. Anyways i love attending the spanish people i guess its a really good experience for me the boss isnt mean or anything. Ive worked 4 days (2 weekends) but its causing me to have so much stress. I really thought i would love working at a bakery and all but working there has just made me a stress wreck.. its summer i dont want to be like this and i know once school starts i definantly wont be able to deal with working on the weekends. Anyways i want to quit i feel terrible i hate having to quit after 2 weekends of working but i dont want to be stressed out. Its so hard for me im not so coordinatted i drop food on the floor i get embaressed once i almost cried from just being overwhelemd.. i make mistake with orders .. when people ask me questions ex/ whats in that pastry?? how much is it?? do you have... ?? its just so much for me to remember and i dont have the best memory. i cant take it.. its fun but its also not .. i dont know what to do im afraid to quit i really am i dont know what to say to the boss ive become friends with him and all and my fmaily goes there on the weekends for the spanish foods and i dont want him to have a bad vibe of my family when they come in all because of me.. it stinks its such a good bakery and if i quit im afraid to ever walk inside of it again..

ughhhh im so messed up what should i do???
Hey, so I'm a hostess at a restaurant and we get yelled at a lot by the servers, and it's really easy to freak out and not know what to do. All you have to remember is composure. When you have confidence and don't let things fase you as much, you'll be much better off. Also know that it is just a job, and once you leave the workplace, all of the stress should just go away because you just completed another successful day at work. Try to do your best and that's all you can do. When you make a mistake, apologize to the customer and move on! Give it a couple more weeks because you have only worked four days! Know that you are a good employee and go in to work everday with that attitude.

good luck-
