Question Posted Friday July 20 2007, 6:43 pm

It seems like everytime I recently get up from sitting or laying, i get a really dizzy head and start to black out. and then my feet start feeling really heavy and weak. especially when walking up or down the stairs. it gets really scary.

does anyone know what this is? a blood pressure issue?

it could possibly be a blood pressure issue, or maybe you aren't getting the vitamins you need. if you don't already, try taking a multivitamin daily. but definitely go to the doctor because they're the only ones that can give you a definite answer.

I don't know if you would get as good answers here as you would by going to a doctor. You start to black out? That's something serious you definitely should get checked up immediately. It may or may not have a simple solution, you never know.

This definitely sounds like a blood pressure issue, however, if you are concerned, a doctor can definitely help you out more than any of us. Are you eating small snacks throughout the day? This may help increase your blood pressure. If the problem persists though, please get help! =]

good luck-
