I think that i have really good style, but a lot of people think that it is "different" i wear like hollister stuff and stuff like that, but i turn them into "me." I really need some help to decided if i should dress like everyone eles or if i should be myself???

Be yourself! Totally! Everyone thinks my fashion style is "different" because I buy clothes & turn them into my own, but then I see them trying to copy me. Yes, I'm a pimple picker. Guilty as charged. I know the conseuences but for some reason its a natural reaction for me. I have so many scars on my chin and I don't know how to get rid of them. Should I talk to a dermatologist or are they permanent forever??

Microdermabraisian [not sure i spelled that correctly] helps a ton with acne scars. I had the same problem & my mom has her own at-home kit that helps the the scars dissapear. I would talk to a dermatologist & they could do it for you. Hope I helped, Good luck, & please rate.

I've known my bestfriend since 7th grade (we're now both juniors) and we're the closest two friends can get and I love her to death.


Our freshman year, we'd always hear about this girl Meagan and how slutty and bitchy she is. Meagan is a grade ahead of us. Well, 2nd semester of freshman year my bestfriend had a class with her but only for about a week because she got switched out.


Last year, my sophomore year, I was in a class with her for the whole year and at fisrt I didn't like her because of the things I've heard but we started talking and she wasn't that bad. Yeah, some of the rumors were true but she was still a good, fun friend. Now we're really good friends. Not as good as my bestfriend and I, but nevertheless, friends.


So whenever I'm with my bestfriend, and I talk about Meagan, she gives me this disgusted look and talks smack about her. I tell her to shut up and not talk about people she doesn't know and then that's the end of it.


Meagan and I are going to a concert in July and I asked my bestfriend if she wanted to come with us because I know she likes that band. Well, she told me that if Meagan is going, she isn't.


How can I get her to stop being so judgmental and at least try to actually meet her?

I had the same problem. My friend Dujuan didn't like my best friend Noreene. Dujuan invited me to a concert that I said yes to but didn't mean too. I had actually already made plans with Noreene. I asked Dujuan if Noreene would come since she made a big deal out of me backing out of the concert because I had another comitment. She just abruptly said, "no", and she barely knew Noreene. Now, me & Dujuan aren't friends anymore because I decided to go with Noreene.

Don't let this happen to you to. Talk to your friend & tell her to give the other girl a chance! If she says "no", then she isn't being a true best friend. You need to tell her that even though she is your best friend, you have other friends, & that you really want her to go. Make sure she knows that she is still your best friend. If she says "no" once you say that, then just let her do what she wants & tell her that you really wanted her to go.

This is a tough situation, & it takes a strong person to handle it. I'm sure you will be able to handle it! Hope I helped, Good luck, & please rate.

does anybody think its tacky to tell somebody you like them over instant message? it just feels so much easier to let everything out that way than in person.

It may seem easier but it will be better & more respectable in person. People like people that are confident [most of the time] & I think that it would be better for you & the person if you told them in person if anything. You go to www.aim.com & if you scroll down past the "Dowload AIM Triton" stuff & the "Free AIM Phonline", you'll see it says "Create An Online Identity" Click that & create your screen name. After you make it & it says "congrats" & stuff, just X off & you should be set to go.

Just use liquid cover up, that will help make it look almost invisible. I don't think you can make them GO AWAY faster, but this will help it look like it isn't there. Good luck.

I'm 13, I don't have a boyfriend. Having a boyfriend isn't all that. I personally think you have more freedom when you don't have one. Many guys our age aren't interested in having a girlfriend yet, so you have to wait for them to mature a bit. Soon, they will start noticing you & want to ask you out. So don't worry, just give it sometime. Good luck

Well, I was dying my hair black a few days ago, & the glove I was using had a hole where my ring finger is. I didn't notice & continued dying my hair.
Now, my finger nail is completely black, & no matter what I do it won't change color.

Is it permenantly like this?
What can I do to turn it back to the original color?

Use a scrub that will help get it off the surface. Try to wash it a lot. Good luck & hope it gets better

Sometimes I get really lonely for no reason. I'm always around family and friends but I feel really lonely. I just feel down and depressed. I don't know why I feel so lonely and abandoned. Does anyone know what's wrong with me?

I feel that way a lot as well, even when I'm with friends & family. You need to tell your friends. Then, they will try to be closer to you. Then, you need to think about it yourself. "What can I do to not feel so lonely?" Reach out to your friends more & make sure that you have connections with them.

Whats the fascination girls have over 6-packs? When my gf starts talking about celebrities, athletes, or other guys that have them, she drools over them and I feel miserable about myself and left out, I mean what am I supposed to say to that? Im goig to a new school next year with my best friend, she is great and ive known her forever, but im a fraid that if i hang out w/ her alot that, i wont make alot of new friends. plz help!!!

I had this same problem. Me & my friend Faith were pretty much inseperable. We spent all our time together & ended up not having any other friends. My advice to you is to kind of make some space between you two, but not too much. Still be best friends but just make sure you have room for others. Good luck.

I am divorced and my son spends most of his time with his mother. I asked my son if he wanted to go to a Mets game with me (we both love baseball). At first he said yes, then a few days later he asked me if one of his friends could come along. My problem: I don't get to spend a lot of time with my son, and I was looking forward to the game as a chance for us to spend time together. I know that if his friend comes along I will feel like a "fifth wheel". My son spends a lot of time with his friends, and I don't think it is necessary for him to bring his friend along. What should I do?

From a kids point of view, parents can be fun but it's always more fun with a friend. I ask my parents all the time if I can bring a friend along. [my parents are divorced]. Just let him have fun & bring his friend. If he had a good time maybe he will want to go alone with you the next time.
Or, the next time, you can just say no & tell him that you want to spend quality time with him. He might be mad at first, but don't back down. Just bring him along & make sure to be cool & fun. Good luck

theres a kid named Aaron that i really like,and hes in seventh grade,im in 8th.im VERY shy and find it hard to talk to guys that i like.i really want to send him a message on myspace or something so i can start talking to him, but the problem is, i dont know what to say!i dont know him very well.i've asked all my friends, but all's they keep saying is say "hi, i know you from school,i really like you, we should go out" or something along those lines, but that isnt anything at all that i'd say.and i dont want to go out with him right away, i just want to talk and be friends with him.he knows i like him,my friends make it quite clear lol,but im not sure if he knows my name and that.

Oh wow, do not do what your friends said!
Send him a message just like "Hey, I'm [insert name] from your school. Just saw ya on myspace & thought I'd say hey."
It may sound corny a bit, but it works, trust me. Don't say anything along the lines of going out or you liking him. Just become his friend first. Good luck.

Well...my boyfreind(17) is always doing cute things like showing up with my favorite movie, flowers, whatever, doing all these cute romantic things and i always feel bad becuase i never what to do to surprise him.

You could write "10 Favorite Things About [Insert name]". My friend Sarah did that for her boyfriend & he adored it.
You could also do something a little more romantic like have a picnic on the beach [if you live near an ocean] or have a candle-light dinner at your place.

I have to write a report on Anorexia for my health class final. The thing is, I don't understand how people go for so long without food? How do they resist temptation? And does being anorexic mean you don't eat AT ALL, or do you still eat, but just a little bit? And what are some "side effects" or problems that may occur from being anorexic. ( I've already looked at ALOT of sites I've googled, but they just all say not to go anorexic, I need more info then that!) Thanks so much guys!

Being anorexic is eating a little bit and maybe thrrowing it up. I'm not an expert, but my friend was anorexic for a while. That's all I know though, sorry. Good luck.

well. on my phone, when you try to picture message someone and it just has numbers, you go to option or whatever, & there is usually a place where you can change the numbers to letters. my phone is probably really different though. Hope you get it in time.
