mayonnaise answered Tuesday June 13 2006, 7:13 pm: I got this from WikiHow.com
Its always worked for me, so here it is:
Lightly brush the spot with a stiff-bristled toothbrush. Doing this breaks up the blood clot and gets circulation going again.
The redness will spread, but will be less obvious after about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, make sure to cool it down with a bit of ice. Repeat if necessary.
Finish off the small pink spot that remains with make up: put yellow eyeshadow or other eyeshadow that matches your skin tone, to the spot and cover the rest (with the hickey too) with concealer. No one will ever notice!
Tips
Sometimes if you add a bit of toothpaste to the brush, it will help clear up any redness faster.
In the future, get and give hickeys where they won't be easily found -- or don't get one at all!

It makes them almost completely invisible. At most they look like a shadow on your neck.
As for getting rid of them faster. They are kind of like a bruise, so i like to take a spoon and put it in the freezer then put it on the hickey. A spoon is just about the right size and fits onto the small area instead of freezing your whole neck. [ jeanine278972's advice column | Ask jeanine278972 A Question ]
feelingwewontgiveup answered Tuesday June 13 2006, 4:07 pm: okay well i was in youre situation and yeah it kinda sucks for the time being that you have it. =/ well, you could put ice on it as soon as you get it. also take a comb or a pencils eraser and rub it around because all it is, is clogged blood vessels. so u have to seperate them and spread them around. i hope that works!
