I now use tampons. I've used them for about a year now. and im 18 i used pads for the longest time because i couldnt figure out how to use tampons. Pads were very uncomfortable for me so i changed to tampons. I use tampax pearl they're are definetly more comfortable!

I'm making a a scrapbook for my boyfriend for out 2 year anniversary. I'm 17 & he's 18.
We don't have many pictures yet so I'm making it for him so that it might motivate us to document more of us being together and try and fill it up.
Since i dont want to jam the pages with pictures and couldnt even if i wanted to i want to put quotes on the pages.
I need love quotes...not weird sounding ones but ones that maybe a teen might like. :)
i need a prom one if thats possible i've made up a prom page of all out pictures and need something to go with it.

k so. some of my friends and sisters are on birth control and most my friends tell me its awesome it makes your periods lighter and it fills your body out like your curves and makes your boobs bigger, they lost a little weight and the pill basically makes you grow up. one of my sisters told me she got really sick and gained 10 pounds but then her body got used to it and it worked to make her periods better. im thinking about going on it because my periods fucking suck and the filling out your body and losing some weight sounds good too mee, plus i dont have too realllly worry about shit when i have sex. so whats the deal? do you only get sick if its a higher dose or something? i dont wanna gain weight cus i dont really like the weight i am now as it is. help please! Hey i had the same questions before i went on birth control! It works wonders on your period. Before i got on it my periods sucked too! They were long and heavy and now they're light and they only last a few days its wonderful! Some people do gain weight some dont. I never did. The pill is 99.9% effective and like you said you wont really have to worry. I never did get sick though when i first went on it. I guess everybody is different. If you do get on the pill i would suggest YAZ. It really is great, and you will know when your period is because you take 4 pills that are like 'sugar' pills so thats helpful! Best of luck :)

We've been dating for 9 months. I just broke up with him about an hour ago. It was a gut feeling, really, so I didn't have much of a reason. I mean, I didn't want to be with him anymore I guess. He was my first boyfriend. Anyway, now that I've broken up with him I feel kind of bad and sad. How long will this last? I know I couldn't have stayed with him forever, right? Sure, he was wonderful and I was happy but he's just my first boyfriend. It just wasn't realistic to have hopes of "lasting forever" with him, right? :\

If you were happy why did you break up with him? I know it doesnt happen to most people but sometimes people do stay with their first boyfriends they've ever had. He may want a reason, because he's probably wondering what he did wrong so just reassure him that it wasnt his fault. Or just tell him you need time to think about things. If you really loved him and it was first love kinda thing that pain can last for a while but if its just first boyfriend kinda thing, i'd say you'd get over it in less an a couple weeks but everybody is different. Hello i got my belly button pierced in January. Mine was finally healed, not hurting anymore in about May. It takes a couple months to heal. Mine did the same exact thing. Especially right after i got out of the shower or when i woke up it was like liquid draining from it and then eventually got crusty. I went to the place and asked if it was infected and he said this is part of the healing process. Everybody is different so if you're concerned that its infected get it checked out. Just make sure you're cleaning it regually and it should heal. :)

Hey im on birth control as well and my boyfriend and i never use condoms and he always ejaculates inside of my almost every time we have sex. You're suppose to take it at the same time but as you i forgot or it slips my mind and i take it when i remember. I havent gotten pregnant from doing it and i've been doing it for about 6 months but everybody is different. Good luck!

I know exactly how you feel but when i was the new kid i was a sophomore. I hated being the new kid, not knowing anybody at a new school and such. I am a very shy person when it comes to being around alot of people. So What i did was during one of my classes i just turned around and talked to somebody like asked them a question say on an assignment, or choose a topic starter. She then introduced me to her friends and so on and bam i had friends. Goodluck and i know it may seem hard but stay strong =D

Okay, well I wasn't really sure where to put this but uh here goes. So I'm 13/F and he was 14/M. He is an awesome friend but he's always been a perv. Anyway, he took it too far this time and I flipped out. We were walking in a group and some other guys that we were with were making fun of him about how he "can't get a girl" and he says "I can get any girl I want!" so he grabs me, pins me against a wall, and sticks his hand down my pants. You may be putting the tampon in wrong. I had this same problem. I wanted to start using tampons but never could insert it right. Finally one day i was determined that i was going to make it work and it did. Make sure you use the right absorbancy one. That could be a problem. Make sure you insert the tampon at an angle, typically when you're on the toilet i would recommend doing it. Having sex for the first time does hurt for most girls but its completly normal. After a couple times it starts feeling better! Just give it some time.

can you just go to the pharmacy at a local drugstore and ask for it as "plan b" or use the words "emergency contraceptive"?

Yes you can but if you go to a local store such as walmart, or target, you do have to be 18 to get it without a prescription. It is kind of expensive though. I've unfortunely had to buy it before and it cost like $50 dollars but if you dont want a baby its totally worth the money! If you cant afford to pay for it go to your local planned parenthood or one of those facilities they should be able to help you out. Best of luck!

well the only way to know for sure it to take a pregnancy test. These are signs of pregnancy though. The breats being tender, peeing alot, missed period, etc. i would definetly take a pregnancy test to confirm. Best of luck!

Me and my boyfriend were trying for a baby. We split up and i am now going out with someone who i love very much. Problem is i think i could be pregnant with my ex's baby. I know this because i haven't slept with my current boyfriend. If i am pregnant i dont think i would want to keep the baby because i dont feel i am ready to have a child at the moment. I am still rather young. But i dont really agree to termination? So what do i do if i am pregnant? (link)

If you dont agree to abortion you could always look at other options such as adoption. Give your baby to a loving family who cant have children. There are always alot of options. I would talk to your current boyfriend about it and tell him the situation that you may be pregnant. Dont keep anything from him if you really love him. i pierced my own belly button a few days ago with a really thick, steralized needle, and i took it out and immediately put a normal gaged ring in.. the ring was my friends from when she went to get her belly button pierced, and i steralized it..
please dont yell at me, i already know its bad to pierce your own belly button..
ive been putting peroxide on it, and triple anti bacterial ointment on it. mostly peroxide though, and ive been cleaning it a lot. the first two days it was like oozing yellow/ whitish stuff, and it dried up as crust.. but i kept cleaning it and it went away...
now it just hurts. It is SOOOOOOO SOAR. like litterally, i cant even sit up straight in my seat at school, i know its supposed to be soar for a few weeks, but i feel like mine is unbelieveably painfuler than all my friends..
also, it looks better but it looks like the skin around the hole is peeling a little bit.. is that normal?
i want to know if i am cleaning it out right, and is there anything i can do to ease some of this pain?? like, anything i can put on it?? i just basically dont know how to handle it.. so if someone could help me learn how to take care of it and what to do and not to do with it, thatd be great :) thanks...

I got my belly button pierced in January. I got mine done professionally. They told me to use sea-salt, mix it with water. They told me do not use peroxide or any ointment. It doesnt let your piercing "breathe".

I was recently started on Yaz birth control about a month ago. I did not have bad acne, an occasion pimple every now and then. After being put on the pill, my face is excessively oily and breaking out often. I thought the pill cleared up acne. Should I expect this to just calm down eventually? (link)

Hey i was put on Yaz about 2 years ago. I didnt have acne, just the occasional pimple like you. Its suppose to help with this stuff and after the first month or 2 it did. Right now your horomones are going crazy trying to figure out whats happening right now in your body. Wait a couple months and if it doesnt clear up you can always switch your birth control method.

Hey my first gyno appointment was about two years ago. I was very scared too! I was self conscious about someone looking up my vagina. I just ended up picking a birth control method i wanted such as being on the pill, or getting a shot. If thats what your going to the gyno for they'll definetly ask you what method you want to go about taking. If they do a pelvic exam. They stick kinda like a probe up your vagina. Then they look at your ovaries and such to make sure that nothing is wrong with them or you dont have any cysts. Its a big uncomfortable but i found if you squeeze your toes and try to focus on something else its not as bad. Good luck :)

I just got my braces off about a month ago. I've had them on for 3 years. When i first got them on i couldnt really eat anything for the first week. Only soft foods. It doesnt really hurt when they put them on just a few hours after! But eventually you get used to it. The only bad part is worrying if you have food stuck in your teeth. At least thats how it was for me. I would suggest taking an ibuprofen or something before you go and get them because it reduces the pain, and i heard some people get headaches after they first get them on. After a few weeks you wont notice it barely anymore. Its all worth it in the end when you have straight beautiful teeth :)

No you're not suppose to get anesthesia. I had my belly button pierced in January. I was really nervous when i got there. Yes they use a needle. Its really quick though it only hurts like like 5 seconds. The part that really hurts is the healing process. Thats about it. I recommend you get it done :)

So tomorrow after school i have to go to my first gynocologist appointment to get on birth control. I've had sex before but my mom doesn't know that and she's the one who's taking me. I'm scared and i really don't want my mom to know that i have had sex with my boyfriend. She's asked before but i've told her no because i thought she'd be mad at me. I told my mom i wanted to get on birth control because my periods were irregular but the truth was i was having sex and i didnt want her to find out. There are many other ways your "cherry" can be popped besides sex, such as tampons. When i went they scheduled me for a pelvic ultra sound and they stuck a probe up my vagina and just looked around at my ovaries to make sure nothing was wrong and it was safe for me to be on birth control. The doctor also asked what birth control method was better for me such as the pill, or shot. Its scary the first time not knowing what to expect, but im sure it will go okay =)

okays sooo, ive been on birth control for like two years now, and i have never known the answer to this question, ive tried to ask my ginocologest but she didnt really answer me.

Birth control isnt 100% effective. Yes it REDUCES the risk but there still is a slight chance you could get pregnant. I wouldnt recommend him cumming in you with/without a condom unless you're ready to deal with the possible outcome of it. I know someone who their boyfriend hardly ever pulls out and shes never gotten pregnant but also know people who use a control and birth control and still got pregnant. Its a risky thing but its really your choice.
