So tomorrow after school i have to go to my first gynocologist appointment to get on birth control. I've had sex before but my mom doesn't know that and she's the one who's taking me. I'm scared and i really don't want my mom to know that i have had sex with my boyfriend. She's asked before but i've told her no because i thought she'd be mad at me. Can anyone tell me an idea of what's going to happen tomorrow there in like detail?

I told my mom i wanted to get on birth control because my periods were irregular but the truth was i was having sex and i didnt want her to find out. There are many other ways your "cherry" can be popped besides sex, such as tampons. When i went they scheduled me for a pelvic ultra sound and they stuck a probe up my vagina and just looked around at my ovaries to make sure nothing was wrong and it was safe for me to be on birth control. The doctor also asked what birth control method was better for me such as the pill, or shot. Its scary the first time not knowing what to expect, but im sure it will go okay =) [ GwinnCheer2006's advice column | Ask GwinnCheer2006 A Question ]

Doctor-patient confidentiality is a big thing, especially with gynecologists. The only reasons your mom would ever have to know that you've had sex would be if you contracted an STD or got pregnant. If there's nothing wrong with you because of it, she doesn't legally have to know.
