There are plenty.

The most common is herpes -- even if he doesn't look like he has any sores, he could still have herpes and you can contract it.

You can also get HIV/AIDS if he carries the virus, especially if you have a sore in your mouth.

You can also get syphilis, gonorrhea, hepatitis B, chlamidia, and other diseases.

Q: I've been talking to a fellow guy for a year and a half, and even though we're not dating yet, we've decided to wait until i'm in the high school, so that not seeing each other wouldn't be a problem, (I just got out of 8th, and i'm 14. Well, I honestly think you're too young to be thinking about sex... but if you're sure then no one can stop you, so I might as well give the best advice I can. That being said...

Your first question -- is this a good thing? I'm not sure if you're asking if it's a good idea to do more things with this guy, but that's what I'm assuming you mean. Anyway, if you're 100% sure that you are ready and you are not being pressured to do something you're not sure about, then yes, it can be a good thing. I just want you to make sure that you are completely ready to do this, and that you aren't going to regret it afterwards. Only you can decide if YOU think it's a good idea.

As far as your second question... the answer is sometimes. It all just depends on the girl (and the guy). I'm willing to bet that unless you're very sporty and active, your hymen is still intact, which means that there will probably be a little bit of blood (which is nothing bad or nothing to worry about. As far as pain goes, like I said, it depends. If it does hurt, it will probably be a very sharp pain but only for a second, until your body gets acclamated. A woman's body is made to stretch to accomodate a man's body, so it won't hurt for very long.

All that being said, please make sure that you use a condom when and if you choose to have sex with this boy. I'm sure you'll regret it if you don't at least take that step to protect yourself.

If you had sex, then YES, there's a chance you could be pregnant. Even if he didn't come inside you, and even if there wasn't a hole, you still could be. Good job on that. =]

Some women bleed for a little while, 3-4 days after egg fertilization... but this was too early for that (unless you had sex with him or someone else a few days ago). Anyway, I doubt that. Still, even if it was your period, you should get a pregnancy test.

And if you're not old and mature enough to handle the consequences of teen sex, then you shouldn't be having it.

First of all, just because you haven't done those other things, does NOT mean you're not ready. If you're 100% sure you're ready to have sex (even if it's just oral or fingering), and you want to be safe and knowledgeable about it, then no one can stop you. =]

Well, if your guy loves you, then he won't care about your pubic hair at all. Plus, every guy is different and will like different things. Generally, though, guys think it's good to "groom" it in some way. Even if you don't want to shave ALL your hair off, you could shave just your bikini line (whatever shows outside of underwear/a bathing suit) and just trim the rest of it to shorten it.

As far as fingering goes... I think you should try masturbating to find out what YOU like and what makes you feel good, so that you can tell your boyfriend. If he's as inexperienced as you are in this field, he'll probably appreciate the help. As far as what "response" I'm assuming you mean moaning or whatever? Just do what feels good and right while he's doing it. If you want to make some noise, go for it -- but not every woman does.

Hand jobs and blow jobs are easy. First of all, I'd suggest telling your boyfriend, "I've never done ANYTHING like this before, so if something doesn't feel good, tell me. As far as hurting... well, it depends on the girl. My friend that I'm talking to says that it hurt the first time she got fingered, but only for a second and then it felt good. She also says that when she had sex the first time, it hurt (again, only for a second) and she bled a little (which is completely normal; sometimes your hymen is still intact and when it breaks, there's a little blood, and it's NOTHING to worry about).

Me, however, I didn't hurt or bleed. It all depends on the woman. But if it does happen to hurt for you, then just let your guy know and ask him to slow down until you can get more acclamated. =]

It's just discharge -- your regular discharge mixed with blood and uterine lining. It's not anything to worry about, but if it bothers you, wear a pantiliner (NOT a tampon; using tampons when you're not on your period can cause toxic shock syndrome).

No, you don't have to have all the symptoms. And that isn't weird at all -- as a matter of fact, that's just how mine are sometimes.

Definitely you should get it checked out. If you have a UTI or bladder infection and don't get it treated, it can move to your kidneys and that's baaaad news. =/

Q: I think I might be getting a Urinary Tract Infection. I got one in 5th grade and it was awful. What are some early signs of one? And can I make it go away on my own? - Having to go to the bathroom, but only a trickle comes out
- When you pee, it burns
- When you pee, you get a reeeeeeally bad pain in the pit of your stomach
- Blood in your urine

As far as treatment goes, you can't get rid of these by yourself. You need to go to the doctor, who will put you on antibiotics. On the bright side, the medicine will begin to help your symptoms almost immediately.

If you haven't had your period, then you're probably what... 13? Younger? Maybe a little older.
