It will never end either honey, even as an adult. Either 1) ignore it and decline to spend time with those who gossip about you, 2) See it as a good thing, a reflection of their insecurities and jealousy, or 3) get agressive.

I don't think there's enough questions on advicenators that mention abortions. I assume there's more females on this site then males, so why does it seem like there are mainly pro-life supporters? We're women. Women with so many choices and laws that allow us those choices. I agree in having your own opinion, but never force it onto someone else. If someone is considering an abortion, why talk them out of it, bringing it up as a sin and disgusting? I'm proud to be pro-choice & you'd think nowadays more women would be. Why aren't you? (link)

As I scroll down these answers, It's easy to identify the adults from the children. I agree with you, as a pro-choice woman with half a brain.
When I read some questions on here (usual from teens who are pregnant and don't know what to do) there are always multple anti-abortion answers. I've noticed a vast majority of these answers appear to come from very young people. It seems to be that young people are more likely to push their views on others and also more likely to hold opinions on such subjects in a black and white manner. A young person may say "abortion= murder" without having the presence of mind (which comes from education and experience) to see that "no choice= decreased woman's rights" and what a slippery slope that can be. Not to mention the potential quality of life of a child (and the mother) born to a teenager. Anyhow, what I'm trying to say with all this is the reason you don't see a lot of pro-shoice answers here probably is due to the age of the advice-givers, and the hesitance of prochoice advice givers to actually push for an abortion. We're more like to say "explore your options" or "talk to planned parenthood". Statistically, people with increased education are more likely to be prochoice, and I haven't seen a great deal of highly educated answers on this website in general.

this is my first post and ohh yeaah English is not my first language...
I began my college year in 04 until now i took a total of 14 classes. and i failed 3 courses got d's in 2, withdrew from 2 and got okay grades meaning c's and b's and cr in the rest. I'm not getting anywhere in school, I don't have a major and everyone i know has either transferred to a university and are close to getting their degrees. My parents think am doing great in school and they keep asking me when I will be graduating...and take into consideration i am not satisfied with the life that am living. so what am asking is ..Summer classes are beginning any time now,& should I retake the classes that I fail or just give up on school... any advice u have for me is welcomed (link)

Keep in mind that if you are not doing well and you don't see it going anywhere then you are essentially wasting your money. I'd say that 85% of people I know with degrees end up doing something completely unrelated to their degree areas. When it comes to a career, pick what you want and follow the education requirments for that- often you may not need a degree. I personally think that college is important not because of the career oportunities, but the invaluble education you recieve. Nothing is more important then a comprehensive education. If I were you I would continue to take classes on subjects I was interested in (for the education opportunities) while I identify a potential career choice based on what I actually WANT to do for the next 40 years or so. Graduating should not be your goal- learning should be.

Different girls like different appearences on their own bodies and different guys also like different apearences on their own bodies as well as those of their girlfriends. Similarly, maybe you find it more attractive when a man shaves, or maybe not. This is a situation where everyone have completely different tastes, and it's totally up to you what you like. The only thing that is generally unacceptable to most everyone is when there is visible hair when a bathing suit is worn. Besides that, experiment and see what you like.

Save the harassing email/conversations. Don't instigate however (i.e. don't engage them in conversation or reply to the emails except once- to tell them to stop). Try reorting/blocking if it's aol (or whatever). If the problems escalates or does not end, especially if it becomes a problem outside of the internet, take the evidence to the police to inquire about a restraining order.

You aren't a "perv" darling, this is completely normal. I would say to start slow...maybe laying next to her on the couch, holding her hand one day. Start kissing while laying there the next day....build up from there. If you start slow, she can stop you if she starts to feel uncomfortable (as long as you aren't pushy)and you guys can build up to more.

You are not really "infertile" in those days before your period, what that means is that on average, women tend to ovulate 14 days after the start of a period, and not typically at the end of your cycle. Of course, it is entirely possible that you could have been ovulating then and have been inpregnated. It is more likely that you are just a little stress and your period is a day or two late. It is too early to take and test and a doctor generally can't do a thing for you except give you a blood test at this point. If I were you I would wait until my persiod was at least a full week late before taking a test.

Here is something I have always thought to be true:
If you go to a food service-type industry, and the person serving you interests you, it is not entirely wrong if one were to make some sort of 'move' toward the person, perhaps in a subtely manner which may or may not end in the reception of a phone number.
However, unless provoked, the person serving, unless attempting to simply milk a tip from the person, should not directly hit on any customers.

I don't think you're age difference is a problem because it's pretty close together. You need to just talk to him, tell him that you want to make it work, but if he pulls away or doesn't seem as into the idea as you are; then maybe his feelings have faded. If he really felt the same way about you then he wouldn't let the opinion of anyone else get in the way. You shouldn't have to convince him honey, it should come naturally.

Once they're posted, you can't get them back so start by not allowing her to photograph you any more, then take all pictures that she has of you away (on the computer- delete the files, also in a digital comera of hers and remove any negatives or printed pictures, do not tell her that you are doing this- it is very important to get them all away before she can do anything about it. You mother is exploiting you, whether she realizes it or not. You have a good bit of control in this situation to not allow it to go any further so take action now. Don't let her guilt trip you into giving in, if she can't respect your wishes then she gets no more photo's of you, period. I happen to agree with you, it's more then a little creepy that these potential perverts and strangers are viewing your photos without your permission, and unbelievably disturbing that your mother is advocating this.

Hello. Well I've had mono before, a really bad case of it. It put me out of commmission for like a month and a half.
I've been making out with this guy, and he said something about having mono, but then he said he was just kidding when I tried to prod him about it later.
I know you always have mono in your system as a dormant "disease" if you will, but my throat got sore the day after I made out with him for the first time and now its getting very swollen like it did when my mono started acting up.
Is it possible for my mono to flare up because of his? He says he doesnt have it, but he has been wheezing, breathing hard, and when he sleeps he snores really bad.
At the moment I have NO insurance so I need to know if it's possible for mono to flare up again.

Leukemia is a complex autoimmune disease that must be confirmed by a vast array of tests. No, it doesn't sound like you have Leukemia at all.
If your doctor can't help your pain, maybe you should get a second opinion and ask if they have considered endoscopy or colonoscopy. Many times with digestive ailments they can't find an obvious problem and they automatically assume it's stress or psychological. I have Crohn's disease and it took literally years to get diagnosed becaue of this. If you KNOW that you have actual pain and our honestly not just trying to get attention, see a gastroenterologist instead of a general doctor.
