My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

is there any way to get rid of an annoying friend?

Uhm, avoiding them would be mean so just keep your distence. If they asks what's been going on, let them know. Don't just say "you're annoying" but let them know honestly or else they will continue to be annoying.

Let me make 4 things clear:
1. I'm 15/f (10th grade, sophomore)
2. I'm not trying to sound arrogant or a whore.
3. I'm a really friendly and nice person. I'm nice to those whom I hate and I'm a big hugger, which, along with my friendliness, some people take as a sign of me liking them unfortunately.
4. I'm pretty much dealing with depression and not being accepted by my family right now. Have been since 4th grade. So I'm pretty much unable to have a boyfriend without treating him like shit.

Anyways, the problem that I have is that I have 7 boys liking me and I only like 2 of them back.

Boy 1 and I are really good friends. We both have the same best friends, who introduced us to each other. He's really friendly and nice and cheery all the time. But our families don't like each other =/ And we can't see each other much because 1. he goes to another school and 2. he might be moving soon. But I brought him to my homecoming and I basically didn't wanna be separated from him because I was really sad when he told me that he might be moving like 5 hours away. But anyways, he told me he likes me and he told my best friend that he wants to ask me out. And at the end of homecoming, he kissed me. Well, I feel much more comfortable with him being my friend and nothing more. He's in 11th grade by the way.

Boy 2 I've liked since last year and I still do. He and I flirted a lot in the beginning of the year and everyone was telling us to go out already but we never did. Well, I went through another stage of drawing away from people and I kind of thinned our friendship at that time. Well, recently Boy 2 has been trying to get my attention? He'd like randomly hug me/pick me up or try and get my attention in one way or another just to say hi or what's up when I'm talking with other people or just not paying much attention to him. And I'm like 5% away from being madly in love with him =P He's in 11th grade as well.

Boy 3 I've liked on and off (if that's possible) since the middle of last year? But people have told us something that relates to us flirting, including a teacher. But he only goes out with athletic girls so I don't even really know if he likes me. But he's really funny and smart and cute and just completely lovable. Oh and when I introduced Boy 1 to him (Boy 3), he had that facial expression that screamed out jealousy. And I can read faces very well, trust me. Umm, he's in my grade.

Boy 2 & 3 are the ones that I like...obviously

Boy 4 is in 11th and he and I are like pick on each other like siblings kind of friends? At homecoming, he randomly came up behind me and hugged me and tried to get cozy with me and I was like wtf? and jerked away. And I swear Boy 1 was like about to scream at Boy 4.

Boy 5, 6, & 7 are all in my grade. Boy 5 I know likes me but I never see him anyways so it doesn't quite matter. Boy 6 scares me, seeing that he stares at me every class and basically stalked me in 8th grade. Boy 7 is a really nice kid and all but I don't know. I don't want to go out with him or anything.

So, my questions are:
1. How would I tell Boy 1 that I rather be friends? Should I tell him now or when he asks me out because I can't avoid him forever.

2. Would it be wrong for me to be flirting with anyone? I'm like not tied down to Boy 1 as in we're not going out or anything, right?

3. Wanna share your "I rather be just friends" line[s] with me please?

4. I'm just confused as to what I'm suppose to do b/c no matter what I do, it can easily be mistaken for flirting (if I'm just myself)How can I establish the line between friendly and flirting?

Sorry it was so long.

1. You need to tell Boy 1 that you only like his as a friend, as soon as possible. Don't wait until he asks you out. When you talk to him, be honest with him and tell him the truth. Let him know nicely and just tell him that you like him as only a friend and nothing more. If you wait longer, you can hurt his feelings and I know you wouldn't want that.


2. It's not wrong to flirt with guys but you should tone it down. Some people flirt natrually and don't realize that they're doing it but since you know they like you, try acting more as friends and not flirt so much.


3. We shouldn't be giving you "lines" on what to say and how to say it. You need to tell the boys honestly and it has to come from you. Yeah it's hard because you don't want to feel like a bitch and hurt their feelings, but let them know. Explain to them that you just want to be friends. They're understand and if not, it's not your fault.


4. So, like I said before, flirting comes natrually. It's normal and it's not your fault that those guys take it the wrong way. You could just tell them that they're good friends and just mention things like that. You could also mention that you're a big flirt so they don't take it the wrong way. It's hard not to flirt ya know.. so don't worry about it too much. I'm sure you know the difference between flirtng and being friendly so think about it when someone is your friend and how you talk to them.


Hopefully everything works out between you and one of the guys you like! Be honest with the boys you don't see more than friends.

well there is this guy that liked me ALOT when we first met & i took him for granted but now he doesnt act at all like he likes me & its wierd but i actually miss him, & my friends are always telling me that he's just doing that on purpose but still i miss him, what do u think I should do?

It sucks when you realize you actually like someone after they move on, doesn't it? Ehh, I know how it is lol. Anyways, if you miss him .. talk to him! It's not too late to start off as friends again and hang out. You both might end up liking one another again and just take things from there. Give it a try and don't be shy to talk to him.

Yorkies! I recently got one and they're really friendly dogs and love to play. Golden Retrivers are also good house dogs.

Well i went to a dance tonight and it was super fun! but i like this kid, well its like an off and on like sorta thing. And i told him at like the beginning to grind w/ my friend because she's never grinded before and i wanted her to do it. But then he said no. =( but then i kept coming over to where they were and was like flirting w/ everyone and he kept telling me to dance with his kid. But i said no. Do you think that he told me to dance w/ him because i told him earlier to dance w/ someone else? like.. did i make it look like i didn't like him so he acted like he didn't like me? idk.. its not really like itching at me that much but i just wanted a second opinion.

Since you do like that kid a little, you shouldn't of told him to dance with someone else and not you. He could of gotten the wrong impression that you didn't want to dance with him. He probablly said for you to dance with another kid because you said the same thing to him.

One of my best friends introduced me to her high school-ex boyfriend about 2 months ago. When I wasn't around, he kept making comments about how gorgeous I was. Well, she told me when we left his house that she'd like to see me and him get together (I set her up with her current boyfriend) and that he seemed to have really changed. Well, we started hanging out a couple of times and we got drunk and ended up making out and talking for hours on end. We never had sex. We can sit on complete opposite sides of the room and talk for 4-5 hours without ever touching each other. Our conversation alone is better than sex. Well, my friend starts telling me that he hasn't changed and that I needed to leave him alone and she tells him to leave me alone. So, to make her happy - I tell him I don't want to talk to him anymore. The truth is, I lied. I miss him a lot. He may be a player and he may be a bad guy, but I honestly enjoy his company. I don't know how to make this right. Can someone give me some advice?

He doesn't seem like a bad guy and he hasn't done anything to hurt your feelings. It's not fair that she would tell both of you to stop talking to each other. You both enjoy each others company and you don't know for sure that he hasn't changed and that he's a bad guy. You need to talk to your friend and tell her how you feel about it. Continue talking to him because you might be that girl that makes him change for good.

Defenetly the Sidekick 3. My brother has it and it's amazing! It has pretty much everything on it. Internet, music, texting, camera.. everything you need. I highly recommend it :] I also like the Blackberry Pearl so I recomment that as well.

HEY TEZA!! first, your picture is SO CUTE!! Dont ever let anyone tell you that your not!! Second, i need boy help :( Well we still smile and wave in the hallway, even when he's with his big group of friends he'll still say hi to me...and i dont know, i just get the feeling he likes me when i see him look at me! Boysss! They are so confusing and we can never seem to figure them out. It's completley normal that you lost some interest in him. It happens. You shouldn't have to wait for him or to see if he makes a move but just see what happens at homecoming. If he makes a move, great. If not, you guys could still be friends like you are now. ok i don't know if this is the right catagory but my eyebrows are so messed up. Along time ago my friend messed up when she was plucking them and she had to shave some of it and now i have to keep shaving them....so omg what can i do and how long will they take to grow back???

Don't ever shave your eyebrows. In order for them to grow, you need to stop plucking and shaving them.

I do my eyeliner pretty simple. I make it go out at the ends sort of like "cat eyes". I use CG or I use a liquid liner. It's pretty easy.

If you get brownish spots on your undies, it's still your period. It's what you get after and it normal. There could always be a chance that you're pregnant but I doubt you are. To be positive, take a test. Always, ALWAYS wear protection.

okay, so there's two boys that have my head completely spinning!

Tough situation. To me, it seems like you like Mark more than Ryan. He might be a great guy, but you don't seem as happy with him as being with Mark. I think you should go on a break with Ryan and figure out what you want to do and who you like more. I know that you don't want to hurt neather of them so figure it out. Maybe after homecoming you'll realize your true feelings for Mark.

My friends are ignoring me. Only my friends, Mickey, Gretchen and Amy are being mice to me. My other friends ignore me. Except Brooke. One thing you need to know, there will ALWAYS be drama no matter what grade you're in. Friends tend to do those things weather it may be intentional or not. You need to comfront them and talk to them about it. Find out why they're ignoring you. I don't know what Naruto is but if you keep talking about it, it could annoy your friends. I wouldn't want someone talking about the same thing all the time ya know? Talk about something different and keep your obsessions to yourself.

How do you .. what? Deal with it, handle it? It's not easy but you have to comfront him and let him know. If he is cheating on you for a fact, leave him. I'm not sure if you can use body wash but I know that you can use soap. Once I ran out of shampoo and I googled it and it said that it actually didn't harm your hair at all. So since body wash is soap, I guess you could use it :]

Ok well im moving to Montreal, Quebec this tuesday from Fredericton N.B.Im a 14/m, I have hundreds of freinds, including one who I want to make more then a freind, but that is going to get fucked over! I almost started crying in class because im going to miss my freinds, and I'm afraid if and when I come back im going to be replaced by all my relly good freinds. How do I deal with this?

Moving is tough and it's something that you're probablly not going to get over for a while. I know how you feel though. You're lucky that you're moving just 8 hours away, .. I had to move across the world. I had to leave ALL of my friends and ALL of my family. Now, I just have my parent's and brother. Those really close friends won't replace you. You guys will still keep in touch and talk. Of course it's not going to be the same since you don't see each other everyday, but you will meet tons of new people and make more friends. Don't look at this move as a negative thing. Look at it as a new oppritunity and a fresh start. It will be hard at first but give it some time. Spend as much time as you can with your friends and make the best of it.

I make all of my profiles myself. I don't come up with the quotes but sometimes, I do come up with my own headings. If you want to make a cute profile, find a cute songs or quote and center everything to how you want it. Use different fonts, colors, sizes to make it cool. Add your own personal style lol and use your originality. If you haven't already downloaded this program called applesauce, you should. It's a large selection of colors for AIM or whatever you're using. I don't use xanga anymore.. actually I haven't in years lol but I'll look for some sites that do have it.
