Hi my name is Lee Ann. I am 29 years old and Graduated from Bethany college obtaining a bachelors of music. I am a happily married woman with two kids, ages3 and 2. I currently have six books out on the market, all of which can be found on amazon. The first is called The Leaf: One fallen heart and a burning desire, my second is called Avengement of Glory, my third is called Spiral of Enlightenment, fourth one is called Prodigy of the Immortal, fifth one is called Augment in the Realm of Darkness, and my sixth novel is called Bond in the Spiritual Heart. I started this advice column to see if I could give good advice. Turns out I am pretty good, better than I thought actually. I enjoy seeing people smile when I give them good advice and they use it. It makes me feel better as a person to help people. I want to make the world a better place and I think that starting an advice column is the right way to begin. Writing is a huge part of my life, without it, I wouldn't be able to function properly. After seven years, I think I have done pretty well as an advice columnist.

If you downloaded the game, that is a virus that someone implanted in the file. I suggest downloading another one that is different from the one you got. And then download games but watch which ones you do download because alot of them have viruses that people use to hack into your computer.

i have a LG model..a flip phone it's a free phone. And anyways I want a new one..like one with a keyboard, new updated cell phone. And more than anything I want unlimited texting..I have the plans where its unlimited txting and pics messages to verizon users..and 500 in and out txt and pics messages to other users..and i pay $10 a month for that..my sister has the same plan, so its $20 actually. And I really want to switch my plan to unlimited texting..i heard theres a $30 unlimited family plan, where you can txt and send as many pics messages you want to any phone users. My parents wont pay an extra $10, i dont get it, they'll be able to text too which would be convienent..how can I get them to get me to have unlimited texting? And idk if the texting plans change if I were yo get a new phone, such as the voyager? And i dont know if there are more fees for internet and gps usage on that. Someone please help me out here? All my other friends have unlimited, and they can afford it, it cant be that expensive...

If your willing to pay for it yourself, they will probably change their minds. Some families can't afford alot of things because the economy has been haywire since the election and things are going to get a heck of alot tougher especially on gas and everything. They add more fees for every addition. I think the main concern is they don't want to waste that money on it but if you got a job and paid for it yourself, they will add it. You can't just say you will get a job, get one first then ask them to put the additions on it.

Its New Year so I went to Las Vegas, and now in the hotel room I keep having Static Electricity. It's really annoying because my hair has static too, is there anyway to stop the static? I know its winter and stuff and its really dry, plus in a hotel there's no fresh air, but are there any other solutions? Everytime I touch my laptop and doorknob or anything metal like a fork, or even when I touch people, there's static. Any ideas for my hair and the whole thing? Thanks!

Have the hotel staff clean your room because that is one way of killing the static. Have them strip you bed and have them wash those same sheets to put back on your bed. Wash you hair, wet your brush with hot water so it can kill the static, and don't use a blowdryer, it makes it worse. If you have to use a straightner then wait until it is really hot before using it.

every year my teacher brings two students to the hartford capitol (in connecticut) based on their essay. the topic of the essay is "why do you want to go to the capitol?"

at the capitol, we sit in on meetings and get to ask the representatives questions and stuff.

so can anyone give me any ideas ?

so, there was a sadie hawkins dance at my school. the guy that i planned on asking acted like a jerk right before i was about to ask him (long story) and i just couldn't ask him. so i asked my best guy friend. we've been like brother and sister for a little more than a year. this friend doesn't go to my school. so the dance comes and we go out to dinner, he refuses to let me pay for my own dinner, and everything is going great. when we get to the dance, we're just hanging out and i introduce him to all of my friends. when the first slow dance comes, he grabs me and pulls me reallllly close. we dance and we don't even talk while we're dancing. we just stare at each other and smile. when the song ends, we just stand there. he's holding me and i'm smiling and then one of my friends comes up and taps him on the shoulder. she says "you know the song's over right? you don't have to stand there like that..." and he just says "yeah i know." so the rest of the dance goes that way. after the dance, he says he had a really good time. after that, everything went back to normal. in school, i literally was asked 100 times 'are you going out with him?''you looked so cute together' blah blah. now, i'm thinking about him a lot more and i'm wondering...does he have a thing for me? could we be more than friends? help !

He definitely wants to be more than friends because someone who is your friend doesn't hold you close. A friend would let go as soon as the song was over but he held onto you to let you know he is committed. You didn't realize that you had those feelings until he started showing his. He is trying to show you that he wants to be more than friends by making the first move so to speak. It is your turn to act on what he is trying to do, that's how a successful relationship builds and grows from friendship.

I have a recipe that calls for 2 large tomatoes diced. All I have at home right now are a few 14.5 ounce cans of diced tomatoes.

Can anyone tell me how many tomatoes are in the 14.5 ounce can? or to rephrase the question, should I use one 14.5 ounce can, 1/2 of the can, 2 cans to replace the two large tomatoes?

is there anything you can do WITHOUT any kind of surgery or anything to make your butt bigger, or firmer, ANYTHING?! haha i'm not saying i don't have a butt, it's not like completely flat but i wish mine was more "round" if you want to call it that. any exercises or anything i could do? thanks!

Yes, what you do is lay flat on your side so that one leg is lying across the other. Lets say you are lying on your left side then you would lift up your right leg as high as you can, hold it up for about 10 seconds, and then put it back down. You do this about 10 times then switch sides. You coninue to do this and you will feel some sort of pain, meaning you are exercising the muscles. When you get advanced, try adding things on to make it more difficult to lift. The more you do this, the more you butt becomes firmer.

my mom and i have a pretty good relationship. we've always had a pretty good relationship. except for maybe one minor detail that's not so minor..... she's obsessed with me! she is absolutely and totally out of control sometimes. there's one thing that REALLY bothers me. she goes on my facebook and she spies on me like if i were a little kid. i've changed my password various times, and when i do she doesnt leave me alone until i tell her what it is. she just won't leave me alone. and then, i have to tell her because i'll be studying or reading or about to leave to the gym, doing something PRODUCTIVE with my life, instead of looking at facebook, and there she is, bothering me. so, i kind of have to tell her. but, i think its going to rain on her parade soon because i'm turing 18 in two weeks. she can't continue like this! it's super annoying! it makes me feel like a kid, and i'm just not a little kid anymore. not to mention that it's super annoying! not because i'm hiding anything from her, because i'm not. but, it just makes me self-conscious, u noe what i mean? i don't like that. she's been spying on me like this every since i was 13, and today is just the last straw. it's the first thing that she does in the morning when she wakes up. she goes straight to the computer and checks my facebook. she goes on and she checks mine, and then she goes and checks my boyfriends facebook and then she checks my ex's facebook, his gilfriends, and then my boyfriend's ex. then, when i ask her why she does that she says that she has to keep tabs on people. it's like an obsession! it's NOT NORMAL! she really needs to get a grip on it. another thing is that she's EXTREMELY disorganized and she's adopted my room for her disorganization. i hate it because i am like OCD organized and she's made a mess of my room. she thinks that she's a teenager and she's turned this into a typical messy teenager's room, and i'm almost out of the teenager realm. she's been out of it for a while, and she's still at it, making messes inmy worm. what the hell/ right now, i just looked on my desk, and in everything that's thrown i find a tricky worm. obviously, it's NOT mine. i wouldn't spend money on something unecessary like that. i'm an only child, and i live with my grandparents too. it's obviously not THEIRS. you see what i mean? HELP!

I definitely see your point with you mom being obssessed with your life and the people around you. I would definitely consider buying a lock for your room. Also there are programs that you can download to lock your computer with a password. I suggest coming up with a password so difficult even you can't remember it. Maybe write it down somewhere safe. Why not set up a facebook with an anonymous name that only you and your friends know about. This way she can't spy on you if she doesn't know what it is. Also think of a password that is so hard that even you can't remember and write it down somewhere safe. I suggest a bunch of random numbers. If she continues to act this way, you may want to consider getting a full-time job and moving out when you turn 18. If you can't wait that long then emancipation is always an option. This option helps you gain legal right of yourself at any age.

Hey. I'm in AP Bio and I have to write up an experiment on plants. I am not an expert on plants at all. Does anybody know of an expirement that I could start and finish within 2-4 weeks?

You could do some gardening with flowers or something. You can watch them grow, maybe water one and not the other so you can compare and contrast. Or even observe someone else garden of vegetables, determine why some are smaller than others. Or even grab a variety of different types, observe, and determine their differences or alikes.

I have a girl and we've always been more than friends but never actually have made it official that we were dating but now im at the point were i need to know that she is my girl friend and that were not just messing around with each other and am not sure how to go about it.

It is definitely frustrating when you feel like you are being dragged into a friendship/ friends with benefits/relationship ordeal. Women love honesty, they want a straight answer, and they like to talk about their feelings. Make sure you are in a room with no one else in it and make sure she is listening to what you have to say and not trying to mess with you. Tell her that you like her alot, more than a friend actually. Then say you want a relationship and not just some fling. Friends with benefits start to get complicated when you develop feelings for the person. Most people don't know this but men and women actually think alike and they don't even know it. She feels the exact same way, she is just to scared to say anything. In her mind, she thinks that if you guys have a relaitonship then all the fooling around will stop and she doesn't want that but at the same time she was to be with you and only you. When you talk to her, you need to let her know that nothing will change, just the label of your status will.

Ok, i have a paul mitchell straightner and it works good but my hair is really thick and it gets it straightned but sometimes it still leaves it poofy. Well my friend got a new straightner from walmart and used it on my hair and it works really good! My hair was so flat and straight. The paul mitchell straightner was kind of expensive and the one from walmart was cheap and it worked bettter. Why is this? Also, is there any straigtners you know of that are between 20-50 dollars that work well? thanks!

Bigger companies like to sell their products for high prices no matter how good they work, they just don't want to lose the money in designing the product. There is a straightener that you can find in Dollar General for ten or twenty bucks that is absolutely amazing. Its black, very thin, and not very big. It will have a small nob with yellow letters on it that you can use to turn the temperature of the straightener. I have had it for 3 years and it still works like I just bought it.

i've been getting cramps bc of my period. and my mom wont let me take any medication except motrin. does anyone know anything that i can do to make the cramps go away?

If you drink pop like Dr. Pepper and eat chocolate then it will work just as well. Also when your onyour period, it hurts more when you are sitting down so walk around alot. Exercising helps the muscles relax, they tend to tighten up with cramps so walking will definitely help.

Is it possible to be pregnant if you are spotting while on BCP? I had sex on my 3rd day on the pill and the condom slipped off. On the 8th day of me being on the pill I had unprotected sex. I am having some spotting. At least I think thats what it is. Ive been on the pill a week and a half already. I was wondering if your spotting, is it still possible to be pregnant?

No when you are pregnant, your suppose to not have any periods or any signs of spotting for the entire 9 months of the prenancy.

I was supposed to get my period July 18th and mine usually last 10 days. Well, on July 17th, I started spotting, which is normal for me. I always spot the day before I get it. I thought that eventually, my period would come and the spotting would be over but the next day, I was still spotting. I thought it was normally. That happens to me sometimes. But the next day and the next day, i was only spotting. No period at all. And now, it's the 25th, a week later, and I'm still only spotting but now, it only comes off in my pad and liner. When I wipe after I pee, nothing comes on the pad. I don't know what's wrong. I went to the gyno 2 months ago and they said everything was fine. Help??

The problem is simple, you are stressing way to much over this. Once you relax your period will happen normally. Tell yourself everythig is fine, your ok, and there is nothing to worry about. Stress is the major conflict that stops a period or causes spotting.

Well my friend "Jessica" likes a guy named "Anthony." She's liked him for a while now. They went out like a year and a half ago. But she's still not over him. Now she has a boyfriend named "Ryan." But shes still not over Anthony... But now im starting to like Anthony too. And i don't know what to do. I wouldnt wanna do anything to risk me and her friendship.. Shes just head over heels for one guy one minute.. then with the other another minute. Its sorta annoying.. But i dunno...

Shes not over Anthony because he is still free. Once he has a girlfriend she will finally let go. You can't make your decisions based on a friends point of view but you have to decide for yourself, what you want. If she is truly your friend then she won't care if you date Anthony. If she does say something, she is not your friend at all. If you don't do anything, you will spend your time wondering what would have happened. You shouldn't wonder, but know.

This is going to be hard to honestly grasp but I'll try to explain the best I can. I left a boyfriend of almost two years to be with someone else. I didn't fall madly in love with this someone else at first because I hung on to feelings for my ex and it did come between me and my new boyfriend a bit. He also had his ex of a few years in the background every once in awhile too. Well we never truly let it come between us we always seemed to stay inseperable because we wanted to get through everything together and just be together. I moved out to Utah for him then he moved to Minnesota for me then finally I had to move back to Rhode Island where I'm from and he eventually came there for me too. This is where things went downhill. Things were weird between us and eventually it caused him to push me out of his life. It crushed me it made me realize how much in love with him I got to be and how much my ex was just a mere memory. He became distant and was always gone hanging out with "new friends" He was living at my uncles house at the time and finally when I was ready to just stop talking to him he called me crying. I later found out that he was secretly with this girl for a few weeks and they had sex and what not and apparently he loved her? He told me he thought he did. This is where I literally started to go crazy. We always promised each other that we would never rush into anyone else and that we would never have sex without love because we are two very passionate people. I was disgusted at him for basically cheating on me emotionally because we were still basically very close and together in a way. and disgusted at him for wanting me back all of a sudden. I eventually gave in because He was my everything. We tried but there was always a problem after that. I was a jealous scared wreck...do you blame me for being scared of him up and going off with another girl because that wasn't the first time... he kissed a different girl before that even happened the first day they met... I started to view him as any other guy instead of the person I was so passionate about. He had complete control over me though he was throwing my heart around telling me he loved me and then being cold and careless. At one point he told me he didn't want to care about me anymore. but then he'd go back to i love you i love you. I always fell into his love trap and we would end up having sex and then breaking up again. He was good at making me feel like it was my fault but I know I was doing everything for him. The girl he cheated on me with is now back in Rhode Island and told me that hes been telling her as well that he loves her. It hurts so much. I feel so used and worthless over him. I wanted to die 3 times in the last two months. We are finally just not going to talk anymore but I don't know how to do that. I really need advice on how to get over someone like this he used to be so perfect so into me so passionate. His smile used to be so sincere. We experienced so much together so much. Hes letting her back into his life but he says as a friend it kills me. I'm scared of not being able to ever trust again. I feel so alone. We were together for a year. I'm 17 and hes turning 20 in 3 months.

If a guy completely loves you with all his heart then he won't make you feel like the guilty one. I know it is very hard to get over someone you fell completely in love with but have doubts about its existence. Looking at the person he was and the person he is now, he is not the one. The best thing to do is to find a common interest that can consue your time to get over the heartbreak. I wouldn't move onto someone else for awhile. Ignore his calls, emails, texts, or even voice mails. If you talk to him for even five minutes he will lure you back into a world that you don't deserve or need. This interest will help you occupy your mind so you don't think about him or even just get your feelings out. I learned how to play the bass and the guitar. Sometimes I wrote lyrics to help soathe my pain. It might help you too.

I'm 17 years old and a junior in highschool. I recently went for a physical and realized that I weigh 95 pounds. I'm 5'8", and the doctor said that I was way underweight. She said that I may be coming anorexic, however this is the first time that that issue has ever come up. I eat EVERYTHING, and the reason I weigh that much is I play four sports, and I'm constantly doing something. What should I do to get everyone to stop worrying about me? And what should I do about my weight?

The best way to gain weight is to lift heavy weights. This won't give you fat but muscle. This will help you in your sports and get your family off your back. Some people can eat everything humanly possible and not gain weight but a way around that is to lift weights. Keep reeocrdfs of how much you are lifting for how lon to prove to your fmaily that you are not doing it on purpose. Also keep records of what you eat and how much. If they have proof, they will leave you alone.

long story short, my boyfriend sorta cheated on me, after he basically worshipped me and said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and he's never loved anyone like me. he didnt actually CHEAT, but he definitely betrayed me, and im not sure i believe that he wouldnt have cheated on me had he been given the chance. the point is, i feel like shit. after listening to him carry on about how much he loved me, i found this out, and listened to him deny it [yes i know for a FACT it was true. trust me.] its some girl he had a crush on like 4 years ago, she had a crush on him too, they never knew, then she moved, so they never had their chance, now theyre back in touch so now they know. that makes me feel sooo second choice. me and him arent together and basically not speaking. but i cant help feeling soo torn up. i know to go out with friends and have fun to get my mind off of it and all that stuff. but still, its not the fact that it happened. that hurts too, but its the fact that it seems like he'd take her over me, as much as he said he wouldnt, obviously i now know not to believe anything he says. i feel like im not good enough, like he'd rather have her any day, and like im second choice. if you've been in this situation, you know. i know that he's in the wrong here, not me, but it still hurts and the whole situation is making me feel like that. i just need some help =[

I know that it really hurts to feel like you are in a race. It seems like most men are insensitive to see how it hurts us or even to look at it in our point of view. Sometimes going out with friends keeps you mind off things but sometimes it makes you think about it even more. When a guy truly loves he gives his heart and soul, not matter who comes in the picture. It seems like he is the complete opposite of what you truly deserve. The only advice a person can really give in your situation is to go on a search to finding yourself. Find your strengths and your weaknesses,using them to your advantage. Once you completely find yourself, you will realize that he was not the man for you and you deserve much better.
