There's this girl named Pam. She was in my art class, and she was really shy, so I felt bad and started to talk to her because she didn't have any friends. Now, I don't have any classes with her except History and English. She won't leave me alone! Everytime she sees me, she follows me. We're not even in the same 4th period class, but she waits for me at my locker anyway! I try to ditch her, but she doesn't get it. She thinks we're best friends. One time, I was talking to my friend in the hallway, and she just comes up to me and stands next to me. There's a dance in school coming up, and I want to go, but I'm pretty sure she'll go and follow me. Should tell her that I'm not going, and go anyway?

Don't tell her you aren't going to the dance, because if you do & go anyway she'll see you there & take everything the wrong way. Alright so, she probably is just doing that because she doesn't have a lot of friends well actually no friends as you put it, so she's not used to having a friend & isn't sure how to act. I think you should tell her this,
"Hey Pam, I've been meaning to talk to you about something. It's kind of important. Well...we've been hanging out for a little while now & I was having a lot of fun with you lately but I don't have as much time to spend with my other friends, & it bothers me. I'm sure you miss the way things were too, right? So I've been thinking maybe we should hang out a little less to catch up with the rest of our lives, & see what happens from there. We'll pick up where we left off some other time but for now, I think it's best if we have a break from each other. I'm really sorry." Don't say it in a mean way or anything though. Judgding by the way you've described it, it sounds like you get excited easily so when you do, you get mixed emotions & your adrenaline rushes. It's when you get nervous, excited, happy, & feel weird all at the same time. But if you get it too much, you'll give yourself an ulcer. Sorry if that was the wrong thing...

Hey, this is kind of a menial question, so yeah. But uh tonight I got invited to two birthday parties that start around the same time. One, is my best friend "Margaret's" birthday. We're going to Maccaroni Grill and that's it. The other is my friend from tennis, "Lucy". Lucy is pretty popular on the team and I really was happy she invited me and I want to get to know her well and stuff. But, Margaret is my best friend. At first I was like, Ok i'm defidently going to Margaret's. But.. idk. Lucy's party is we're going shopping and then spending the night at a hotel. Both are sweet 16 birthdays. My parents suggested going out to eat with Margaret and then going to spend the night with Lucy. But since me and LUcy aren't like besssttt friends, i dont' want to seem like a lot of trouble since I'm not even one of her good friends. Does that make sense? well, please reply asap! thankks!
Who invited you first? I think Lucy's party sounds funner but Margaret IS your BEST friend & I think you should remain loyal to those grounds. Go to your best friend, Margaret's because she's most likely to be there for you than Lucy is for your party or something like that. I mean, going to Margaret's party you're doing the right thing & that's what matters. Just tell Lucy that you can't make it & you're really sorry but send her something like a Birthday Card through the mail or whatever & a gift certificate. You might not have as much fun w/ Lucy because she's having more people go too & since she knows them better she might hang out with them more. Good luck & I HOPE I HELPED!
Every time I want to talk to my friends, I have to go up to them myself and talk to them. They never go to me to talk. None of them!! Whenever I am on AIM, nobody ever IMs me unless I IM them first. Same thing goes with any situation and I am sick and tired of that, because I wish I didn't have to start the conversation all the time.
I do ask them why they don't talk to me first, but then they say, "I am sorry. I'll do it next time" but they never do!!

Ask them if you did something that may have offended them. Maybe there's rumors around that you said something untrue???
Here's what I would do:
Don't IM them on AIM anymore. Just wait for them. And in public, start hanging out with some other people & see if they start talking to you. You know...just to see how they react?

If so, there's something wrong here. Something is weakening your friendship with these people & you need to talk to them & see what it is. Do they gang up on you or whatever?

why is it bad to wear make up at a young age (kids)? Is it something with their skin? What age can you wear make-up?
When you wax does like (un-noticely) some of your skin is damaged or ripped so it's better off shaving?
No your skin is not damaged after being waxed ( by professionals) in most cases. It's bad for young kids to wear makeup around their eyes etc. because the mascara could be shared with other kids & that spreads infections. Not good! Another thing it does, is w/ mascara it sort of like...ruins your eye lashes if you're like 9 or 10 or younger. Also not so great...

Don't pop the zit, it will leave a hole in your face! But only with some people so I wouldn't take the risk. Everytime I pop a zit nothing happens it just leaves then comes back within a month or two. I suggest toothpaste, I don't know how it works but it just does, trust me! If neither of those methods help you out, try proACTIVE. Yes, it's kind of expensive & you probably can't find it around your house but it works so good! You use it every morning for 2 weeks so your skin can adjust then for the last two weeks you use it every morning & every night, you will love it, I SWEAR! It's great. It goes straight to the source of your zits & they will be gone in no time. It also prevents future breakouts. It will explain how to use it in a packet etc. ALSO...
STAY AWAY from any toner because that sometimes increases the risk of more zits. I heard of another way you could also try,
You get two bowls out and fill one with hot water (make sure there's steam)& one with ice. Keep your face level with the hot water & keep it there for like 10 minutes, then go to the bowl with ice & keep your face level w/ that & it will zap the pores shut. Good luck!
Every time I try to tell my dad something, he doesn't believe me. If I encounter a problem on the computer, he automatically assumes I did something. Like I had trouble with the internet connections, saying it doesn't work on my account. I showed my sister, too and she says she can't figure it out. And when I show my dad, he says, "yeah, whatever.. you must of screwed your settings up. There is nothing I can do since you did it so it's your problem." So I reply, "I swear, I didn't do anything! It's been doing this since we switched ISPs." And he is the computer nerd of the family! Plus, some times my dad will lose something and he will blame me for it. I don't cause trouble in the community, and I get good grades. I am a good person, and I don't go around doing bad things, yet my dad doesn't trust me and he never believes me! What can I do?
Also, as a note I have no virus on the computer or anything, so don't say that. Thanks..

"Dad I need to talk to you! Have I ever done something so terrible to make me untrustworthy? Any lie I told that was so far out of this world that you could never believe me again? Because, I am your daughter/son. & you're really supposed to trust me & believe what I tell you. But ever since that computer situation you just don't seem to be understanding what I'm trying to get through to you. I don't lie, & I believe what you say, so why can't you believe me?" I bet he will give you an answer so you can improve if you've done anything you don't remember.

My mom is like addicted to alcohol. Every weekend, when she is off work, she has like a 12-pack of beer. Some times less; some times more. Even when she is working, on occasion she'll sneak in a few beers before work or after. And she never finds the time to spend time with the family. She makes promises she'll skip a weekend, or a day at least, to do something "as a family" but she ends up getting drunk when she gets home from work on Friday. She breaks my heart so much when she makes promises, then breaks them. I do know alcoholism is [like] a disease that's hard to cure, but is there anything I can do to help her??
She knows the long-term side effects, like liver disease and other problems. She knows she has a problem, but she is always denying it. And there are times when she does gets drunk she gets violent. I CAN'T turn her in or anything, because then my dad would kill me. But just personally, what can I do to help her?

You need to talk to her;fast! You need to tell her what the consequences of her actions are & how they can affect her & other people. It's important that she hears this from YOU. Anyone can tell her but to have her own child means more. It's telling her that you're concerned for her health & there are other things out there to do. Tell her how you feel and you're worried & she should care. Tell her that she's setting an example on your health: growing up around alchohol can increase the risk of the same thing happening to you! Not good. So talk to your dad or siblings (if any) & see if it's ok to maybe replace the alchohol with something more healthy, but make sure she ok's this. I hope this works out! Good luck! -Lauren

i reciently started babysitting for a four year old girl who we'll call kim and and her 18 month old sister we'll call lynn. kim has this problem where if she doesn't get what she wants she gets really ugly. she truelly is a terror. she swears at her own family, expecially her grandma who is the nicest lady in the world. she is a total jerk to her sister and anyone who watches her or even her own family. I don't know what to do with her, we'll play games and she'll still get really angry. i need some advice on how to keep a crazy 4 year old child who can yell for hours on end accupied for a few hours while trying to care for her younger sister at the same time.
If she's too much to handle, call a friend up to help you take care of one of them while you get to know the 4 year old. But ask her parents to see if it's ok first. Read books to her, & play more games etc. In the meantime, you should probably ask her parents what she's been eating lately, because certain foods create bad or good moods depending on what it is. For example, chocolate. TONS of people get very mad if they eat too much of it! Consider what she's consuming & ask if it's ok to experiment by taking chocolate or peanut butter (or what you think is causing the problem) out of her diet while you're over. Or this may just be a cry for attention because her parents aren't around and she misses them. If this becomes too much of a problem I advise you to stop babysitting for these people. But if you're persistant to help her then, just watch some movies and I hope everything works out.

Well I am a Catholic & I'm proud!
But anyway...
Catholics are Christians but like the person below me said, the beliefs are slightly different in some ways. Catholics ONLY worship God, & God only! Briefly, Christian people DO believe that Jesus died for our sins, but it sort of depends, some Christians may worship Jesus & someone else, or not. Well I'm only 13 so I can't tell you EVERYTHING about the Catholic/Christian religion, but don't google anything or look at peoples' blogs. Most likely, people will either make something up out of vengeance or just for fun. And I'm not like bashing the person below me or anything-sorry if it seems like I am! But wikipedia hears a story-they exxagerate the story-then they even add a couple lies to spice it up a little. (From what I've heard) So good luck,

Hey. My 15th birthday's coming up and I want to ask my friends for some fun gamecube games that are no more than $20.00 or something I can ask my family for from gamecube which could be more expensive. Anyways, I'm really into games that are like reality games like Animal Crossing (I know I'm such a little kid =)) or Harvest Moon or the Sims but I have all those. If anyone can come up with a game like that, that would be really fun I will praise you lol. Ok well I like the sims too so maybe you'll also enjoy the ones i've found to be pretty amusing...
1) Mario Kart-Yeah I thought I'd hate it but I couldn't stop playing those races, it's just so fun! You unlock new courses and characters.
2) ANY of the Mario party games, you're like in a board game it's so cool.
3) Kirby Air-ride -well it's an "ok" game, i bought it used at $9.99 i think...but the game new i think is like $40 which isn't worth that much. Just a tip!
4) Mario Sunshine (Yes I'm obsessed with these mario games but they are just so fun!) And I have to say, this has got to be the BEST game...EVER THAT I HAVE PLAYED! Well worth $40.00 but maybe you can buy it used for $20.00 or less.
That one is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE!

Somebody who doesn't think of themselves first and makes sacrifices for others' well being,
no one is perfect but I think..
1) You should set a goal for yourself, do more nice things every day you get closer to your goal.
2) Follow the commandments, WWJD!
3) Encourage others' and what they're trying to do. Unless it's dangerous, then you need to tell someone, that can help. Don't keep bad secrets.
4) Try to keep your temper low.
5) Relax and have like 10 minutes to yourself every day, just so you can sort out your thoughts, and clear your mind to help you relax. It will help you be a little bit more low maitenence and every little bit adds up! Be forgiving and generous.
6) Do some volunteering at an animal shelter, or a soup kitchen. Or even do community service. Enter a food drive for the poor people. When you do something nice for others, your reward isn't always something done nice for you in return, but the reward is the great feeling you get.
7) Be honest, and try not to lie.
8) Be loyal.
9) When something feels wrong, that's your conscience telling you not to do it. Guilt...not a good feeling!
10) Take every day, one step at a time so you don't get discouraged.
And finally..
11) Keep a decently and reasonably high confidence with self-esteem. And don't gossip!
And don't seek revenge. Vengeance is bad.
Don't get overly jealous either...
And lastly...: Trust, the thing that makes the world go 'round. Don't trust someone you just met, but try to make it seem like somebody can trust you, and follow through with it.

I started to babysit for money. But there's this evil little kid that is very young (only 6!!) but is verrry perverted. He watches rated R movies, fastforwarding to sex scenes, and he's always trying to touch my parts. I'm 15!! How gross is that?! I told his parents about it, but they wouldn't believe me. He acts like an angel in front of them I guess. I yell at him and everything, but nothing works!!
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?
Take the movies away & hide them until his parents get back--as the babysitter you have every right to this. You seriously should punish him by keeping him away from the other kids (if any) and try to talk to his parents again, or yours! Wherever he keeps the rated R movies, is where you should replace them with some kid-friendly movies instead, so he can adjust to that. His mental health-state is kind of on the line at that age considering he shouldn't exactly have a perverted mind and his hormones really shouldn't be raging so early in life. I advise you to stop babysitting for these people if this continues. Play some board games with him or something, I think he's looking for attention. Maybe because his parents aren't always there for him I guess, & I know you probably do want to help his parents but think about it. How nice can his parents be if they do believe you on something so serious?

Live by the commandments and understand that you will sin more, it's part of original sin, but God will forgive you. Make sure you're conscience is well formed or in the process of forming and read the Bible every day, or like every 3 days. No, it's physically impossibly for you to be pregnant. And don't worry, periods are never regular even when you get older. I've had mine for a year and it's almost never regular so don't worry! You're fine, calm down. :)

You can't, you have to put in the credit card information into your account. :( Stinks, I know. Sorry! (Not Sarcastically) You can't do the prepaid card because they only last for like $25 and if you used a code of one, once you bought 25 songs, your account would be gone and you can't really make payments without a credit or debit card.
