My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.

I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

so my new boyfriend is extreaammllyyyy modest. like weve gone out like 4 times and he hasnt even helf my had or anything, i know that hes never had a girlfreind but i dont want to have to me the one whos gives him hugs all the time and reaches for his hand, how can i let him knowim willing to let him accually touch me..

When someone is like that its hard for them to open up so it will take him some time to get comftrable. Most guys expect the girls to make the first move, but the girls expect the guys to so it's kind of odd. You should just talk to him and tell him. There is no other ways of letting him know and there are no hints you can give him. Talking to him would be the best. After all he is your boyfriend. He will touch you once he loosens up, don't worry.

i have this boyfriend and he liked this other girl and asked her out(but she said no) when i was still going out with him so i dumped him... but then i still loved him and asked him out again and now i feel like i shouldn't be going out with him ...i need major help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can`t help that you like him so don't say that. I mean it was wrong of him to do that but still. Just see how he acts and see how everything is. If he does it again just break up with him because you deserve and need better.

When someone says Starbucks owns or like that game fu*ckin owns it means that its awesome and that it rocks. And tanorexic is someone who always goes tanning and they are basiclly addicted.

hEy ok so last year i was like really laid back and didnt care to much about things and i went out with this boy like 4 or 5 last year times and like half the summer and then we like never saw each other because i had alot of volleyball and so he like hated me and so i got over him but now i see him everyday at school and i am like in LOVE with him again BUT he goes out with my friend and he like likes me to because he told me and i like really want to go out with him should i get over him or should i wait?

You do not have to get over him. I mean why would you? You love this guy and don't do that because you will regret it. Just keep talking to him, and if things start to get a little serious between you guys then you have to have a talk with your friend. I mean she should know that you guys went out before and just talk to her and tell her you never got over him, but you don't want to get between them. Just wait and see what happens between you guys. I'm 13 and I haven't got my first kiss yet and I feel like a loser because pretty much all my friends have made out. I'm going out with this guy that I have liked for a long time and hes one of those guys that like to make out alot and I'm nervous! .. What should I do?

Don't be nervous. Its okay that you never got a first kiss, and so what if al of your friends have. Sooo many girls are so worried about this. But anyways, your boyfriend will probablly make the first move and when he does don't be scared and worry that you will mess up. Chances are you wont, but if you keep thinking about it you will. Just go with the flow and there is no way how to make out. Just relax and enjoy it.

My parents wont let me go out with some friends, how would i make them lemme ?

This would be easier to answer if you gave more details on why and where. Sometimes my parents won't let me go out with my friends if they don't trust them or something. Find out why your parents wont let you and just talk to them. See if there is a reason and just be good. Do chores and be extra nice. Don't argue with them and don't cry, or else they won't let you go. All parents are like that. But if you are good I'm sure they will let you go out.

One of my closest friends just recently admitted to me something that I found quite disturbing.

She told me a couple days ago " no offense, but my cats are more important to me than any of my friends or family.

She said if her house were on fire the first thing she would grad were her cats, and not her parents or friends!!

I didn't say anything but I was quite upset. I would always pick my friends and family over my pets.

Am i overreacting to being upset?

Well, it's not that you are overreacting its just that you are worrying too much about it. I mean it is her decision and I guess her cats are just way more important. She isn't saying that she doesn't like you as a friend or anything, but its just her decision. I personaly would pick my family and friends first before my pets, even if they meant a lot to me, family & friends always come first.

Well, you loved the guy and you should do anything you can to get him back. First of all you need to talk to your best friend about this. Tell her exactly how you feelm and that you were just scared and you didn't want anyone to know how you feel about him. She is your best friend and she will understand though. After you talk to her you should should find out if he still has feelings for you. Then you need to talk to him and tell him you are sorry about the past and that you still have feelings for him. I'm sure everything will work out fine and good luck!

I would never consider you a whore at all. It is normal for girls and guys to make out, and 13 is the age everyone does. Well most people get their first kiss then. If people do call you a name for that then they are really prude. If they say eww and stuff, yeah they are prude. But for now you should just stick to making out. =D

Oh my gosh!! That is the funniest and most horrible thing I have ever heard! She defenetly doesn't even deserve you and shes being a fruit about it. I know you love her, but seriously if she is going to treat you like sh*t then dump her! Don't be sad about it because it's not worth it. She is being so shallow and since I know who this is, and who she is thats really lame of her! When you talk to her, or if she ever says anything like that to you again, don't take that bull from her. No matter how much you love someone, you can't let them walk all over you. Anyways, sometimes you shouldn't take it from her, if she does it again hurt her feelings or say something like that so she knows how it feels. I know its mean but she needs to learn her lesson. =) Cheer up!!!!

What do you talk about that you think might bore him?? If he keep talking and talking and talking then that might get boring but I don't think you would do that. All girls feel like they might be boring the guy or annoying them, but we never do. We just assume that. Just simply ask him, am I boring you? You could talk to him about anything you want, and anything you or both think is interesting. Just don't worry about it too much.

Well.. I liked this guy last year. I was so totally over him this summer after he started yelling at me b.c. i liked him. But this year i've changed. I started wearing more preppy clothing and a little more make-up. Every day he stares at me. Do you think this could be a sign? If he does like me, should i forgive him?

I think he was a jerk for yelling at you in the first place, but forgive him because there is no need to hold grudges. I think he just thinks your look gorgeous and he might like you, so that's why he's staring at you all the time. Just talk to him as friends, and see if he flirts with you more and if he will keep giving you signs.

okay so i was reading on the tampon box that you should never wear a tampon when your not on your period, butttttttt.. i just bought a homecoming dress today and its this gorgeous baby blue dress and its really tight, and im susposed to start my period the day after homecoming, but im so worried like what if i start my period and i leek on my dress, and i cant wear a pad cause you could totaly see it through my dress, but yeah do you think it would be bad to wear a tampon from like 6-12 at night, cause im soooo bad at putting them in i wouldnt want to have to reinsert one at the dance...so yeah help please, im so stressed

If you are getting discharge a lot then you will get it. You could wear those small, light pads, and then if you do get it then use a tampon. Anyways, since you aren't supposed to do that I think you should just for that day. Its better to be sure then leak later. Nothing bad will happen to you. Have fun at your homecomming!!

It isn't a sport. It is a hobby. You just consitrate a lot, nothing physical.

Ahh, that's a tough situation. I think you should just keep it on the down low for now. You should talk to him because you guys seem very close, and see what he would say about it. You can't help the way you feel about her but she deserves to know as well. Just talk to him first. Hope it works out.

i need to loose a lot of weight but like quickly .. i weigh like 220 right now and by the end of school which is in like i dunno june something i wanna be like so much thinner. my goal weight is like 145 or maybe somewhere around there. it's not that i'm like rele fat its just that it runs in my family and i don't want 2 be like this anymore. any tips ideas anything.. i will rate high if you do. thank you!

okay well my hair is really thick and i straiten it everyday and its starite for like a hour then frizzes out again. i use pantine pro-v like frizz treatment but its not helping..do you know any kinda of product i can put on my hair to keep it from frizzing like that!? it can be gen or shampoo or whatever i jsut need help! thanks so much! 13/f -amanda

John Freeda Frizz Ease. I love all of his products! You should get it and it's not expensive. There is also a shampoo called Ion for all types. For straightening, frizz. You can also get hair silk also from Ion. I use them. It works.

ok this may sound really conceited, but my mom is like 58, but she still looks like she's 35. no plastic surgery, nothing. i'm kind of pretty i guess, but not like gorgeous. but there are girls who are absolutely gorgeous at my school, and their moms are really old-looking (no offense!!) and not that pretty. neither are their dads, but mine isn't that special either. how come it's like that?? =/

Some parents, as they get older they don't care about their look. Now, it shouldn't matter how they look and such. I look nothing like my parents at all and you should be lucky you are very pretty. You probablly are gorgeous but just don't think you are! Some of the kids could be adopted maybe?? Lol, just a guess.
