I usually use IE7 and just got my computer fixed. Supposedly I had a worn-out hard drive. My files were all saved but I have a new drive now.
Today I opened IE7 and tabs would NOT stop opening. (it was my homepage, google) I must have had 200 at least. It froze my computer. I rebooted and everything was normal again.
Was this just a program glitch, or something I should worry about?
It was probably just a glitch. If it happens again, run a few malware scans just to be sure. See if IE's history shows what page it kept opening; maybe that will explain it.
Tech support companies usually do backup/restores wrong, and it leads to weird bugs like that.

Can you rip dvd's that are copy protected so you have a back up copy or is there no way to do that?
Commercial DVDs can't be written to, so you can't remove the copy protection from them. You can rip them, though.
DVD Decrypter is easy to use, but very old and not updated anymore. It will work on most DVDs.

Is it possible to be able to delete a phone number that you called from being listed on the cell phone bill before it is mailed? I don't pay the cell phone bill but there is this thing that I called and I don't want the number to show on the bill. I am not going to hack or cheat. But I need it deleted.

It means that cookies have been blocked according to your security settings. The site was trying to track which websites you visit so that they could give you better advertisements, but some software you have installed (Spybot, SpywareTerminator, etc.) prevented it. The site was not trying to attack you, and it was likely caused by advertisements they have rather than by the site itself. Don't worry about it. Don't change anything.

My xbox 360 got a 2 Red Light warning thing and found out it was due to overheating. I unplugged everything and let it cool for a day. After that, I turned it on and after 6 minutes it shows the same two red lights. I also touched the back and noticed it got warm pretty quickly. Is there a way to fix this? I searched all over the net and got stuff like send it to microsoft and they'll repair it for you but also read that it won't stop the problem completely, it just fixes your xbox a bit and then later on it will get 2 red lights again. Another one said you could repair yourself, I might wanna do that but I need detailed instructions on how. I Searched the net how and got all these advertisements on how to fix your 360 with this manual and video which costs like 40 dollars. I think I've seen somewhere the xbox 360 has a cooling device accessory? Will that do any good?
Opening the 360 will void your warantee. The problem recurs only occasionally after Microsoft fixes it.
Personally, I would send it to Microsoft on the first failure and hope they fixed it for good. If it fails again, I would send it to Microsoft and then buy an external cooling device so that it doesn't happen again. I would never buy an internal cooling device until the warantee expires because installing it would void the warantee.
You may be able to fix it yourself, but why would you? A permanently voided warantee is not worth a few weeks of no Xbox.

Okay, so, i got a zen for Christmas and i love it(for the most part). the only problem is that i don't know how to put music on it. i have itunes and all of my music is on there, and it didn't come with a manual by the way. So can someone tell me how to get music on my zen without having to buy all of the songs over or have to import the CD again (cuz that will take forever).
Music bought from iTunes music has DRM which prevents the Zen from playing it. You'll need to buy the Plus version (which doesn't have DRM) or burn/rip it to a CD to play it.
Plus music and music that you didn't buy on iTunes can be transferred to the Zen in this way:
-Connect the Zen to your computer using a USB cable.
-A new drive will appear in "My Computer".
-Move Music to that drive. You might have to move it to a specific folder in the drive for it to work.
-Done
By default iTunes stores all of your music in "My Music\iTunes". This is the absolute location in Vista:
C:\users\you\music\itunes
And in XP:
C:\documents and settings\you\My Music\itunes

System32 contains files that Windows must have to run. If you delete it, Windows will not be able to start. If this happens, you should use your Windows Installation Disk to do a repair installation. This will fix the problem, usually without deleting any of your data.
Deleting system32 isn't as easy as right click -> delete, though. Windows will try very hard to prevent you from deleting it. Some files can't be deleted the normal way, and some files will be automatically replaced by backups as soon as you delete them. Not all files in system32 are protected, though, so don't try it.

Follow the webcam's instructions for how to record a video. Start recording. Say something interesting. Stop recording. Post the video to youtube.
Optionally, you can use Windows Movie Maker to edit the video. This program comes with every recent home version of Windows, and is usually located in Start -> all programs or Start -> all programs -> accessories. If it's not in your start menu, you can run it by running this file:

To save the Movie Maker file in a format that Youtube likes, go to File -> Save Movie File (XP) or File -> Publish Movie (Vista). Saving through File -> Save (XP) or File -> Save Project (Vista) will not work.
If the file created by your webcam is too big for Youtube, run it through Movie Maker without editing it. Movie Maker will make the file smaller when you save it.

I downloaded the kiwee toolbar for my windows live messenger 8.1. It all installed and is there, but when I click on the menu for anything (winks, emoticons, etc.) I get a blank blue-gray window. I've tried re-installing, searching the FAQs at kiwee, and emailing their support, and I still have no answer. Can anyone help me with this?

I always get the perfect amount of sleep per night. Well, it varies from eight to ten hours. I take a melatonin pill at night to help me fall, and stay asleep.
The problem is, I NEVER wake up refreshed! I'm always dragging myself out of bed.
I've recovered from hypothyroidism which makes you really sleepy, but I'm taking Levothyroxine for that.
So, why can't I get out of bed in the morning?

Take melatonin less often than you are now. I tried taking melatonin nightly, but after a few days I started experiencing the same problems you are. You get kind of "stuck" in sleep. I now take it once a week, and that improves the quality of my sleep throughout the week without making me drowsy or unable to get out of bed.

I uninstalled, then reinstalled Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger. This did not fix the problem.
I even did a system restore back to yesterday, which said it changed nothing. I then restored back to Saturday, which fixed nothing.
I did virus scans yesterday, so I checked my quarantine chests and restored a couple of system volume file things. That did nothing, either.
I run Windows XP, and am left scratching my head, here.
In Add/Remove Programs, uninstall everything with "Microsoft Visual C++ 200x Redistributable" in the title. Restart your computer. Download and install it again from here:

From what you've told me, it sounds like you don't have a DVD burner. By DVD burner I mean the physical drive that you can touch. Look at where you put the disks in, does it say "DVD burner" or "DVD-RW"? Keep in mind that a CD burner does not necessary burn DVDs too. If you don't have a DVD burner, you won't be able to burn DVDs until you get an external DVD burner.
