My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

Okay, as childish as this might sound, I needed to ask it anyways. I'm 15 female, and this other girl named; Rachael is 14. Rachael rides my bus & she was my first friend at school. I just recently moved here, she was/still is a loner too! After about a month she really started to annoy me, & I guess you could say I really don't like her AT ALL. But, she still follows me around, talks to me, etc. I'm not mean to her though - Seen as; I'm nothing like that. I'm seriously one of the nicest people alive. I really don't like to yell at people but if it becomes necessary, then I do. Today on the bus she took my purse because stupid me left it in the seat while I went back to my locker to get a book. When I got back she said, "I threw your purse out the window! Your love took the purse I don't have it!" Which really pissed me off. I asked her nicely for about 5 minutes, then I just lost it and totally flipped out, I really wanted my purse back & I knew she had it. She gave it back 10 mins after that and I ignored her the rest of the way home. When she asked if I was mad at her I said no, because I think it might seem childish if I were to say yes because she stole my purse & I defintiely didn't want to be the immature one in the situation. I was wondering, if I did right? Did it seem childish of me not to talk to her, or do you think that I did right? Thanks!!

Oh wow, I hate when people are like that but sometimes I won't say anything even if I don't like them because I don't want to be mean. I just tend to ignore them so I don't blow up. Anywhom, you didn't do anything wrong and you actually have a reason to be mad. I would. She had no right to take your purse and do that. Someone took my purse and stole all of my money, and I know it was one of my supposibly "friends" You have a right to ignore her and if she gets mad and starts to wonder what she did, then tell her. She is the immature one and you seriously didn't do anything wrong.

Please do not be shallow and not go out with him because of what your friends think. It doesn't matter that they are your friends but it's wrong of them to do that to you. If you like this guy and you like his personality then go out with him. Don't just let him go because of your friends. It's your life, not theirs.

hey! I have rely thick curly hair! and I HATE IT SOO MUCH! and EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE I put in either a bun or a pony tail, and it gets sooo boring... i have a professional hot tools straightener and It wont straighten my hair! Why won't your hair straighten?

You should try using some of the John Freeda products in your hair. Like friz easse. Try to look for shampoos that will smooth out your hair so it's not so thick. My hair is also curly but when I straighten it, it kind of stays that way. I also use this spray called Ion. It doesn't damage your hair from heat and it stays healthy. For school, you can try putting it in french braids, normal braids, pigtails. Leave it half way up. Also, putting clips makes it look cute. Headbands & ribbons are the must.

Sometimes flirting doesn't mean anything. Some people are natrual flirts. I am and I don't even know when I'm doing it. I don't think he likes her but if you are worried you need to talk to him and just ask him. After all, he is your boyfriend and you should feel comftrable to talk to him about anything.

Does your ex give you any signs or does she flirt with you? Just because you guys talk doesn't neccesaraly mean she likes you again. But you never know, so you should just ask her. If your ex doesn't know you like someone else, then just tell her. Will she be upset or jelous? If she is, then she still likes you. Just tell her though and ask her if she still likes you.

Sorry to say, but there really isn't anything you can do about it. He should get to know you better though. Talk to him. If things don't work out, you know it wasn't meant to be and I know it's hard to accept that... but you will find a guy that really likes you.

If you ask how do you know that you are in love, you probably aren't. How do you know that you love your friends or family? It's just a feeling and it's just a thing that you are sure about. You would do anything for this person and you care about them a lot.

Ok...I always wash my face once a day. Sometimes 2 times. I can't keep the zits from coming! I need help. How do you prevent zits and blackheads!!?!?!?!

Zits are a natrual thing while you are still growing and maturing. You simply just can't make them go away but you can make your skin healthier and clearer. You don't need to buy all those things like Clearasil or whatever, wash your face with Dove every night and day and use good face lotion. If you keep it up your family will be healthier.

Everytime these questions get asked, it's hard to answer them. Anyways, you have to keep talking to him, be outgoing and just be yourself. Ask him to hangout more. If he flirts with you and such and if he gives you any signs like always smiling at you and looking at you then he might like you.

Sometimes when people were really good friends and they go out and break up, things will be okward. What did you expect? I mean, I don't think he likes that he can't talk to you but he is probablly feeling weird right now. I defenetlly would. Just give him some time. I mean it probablly hasn't even been that long since you guys broke up, has it? Anyways, you guys will be friends again. Trust me. It's just how these things are. Just give him time and explain to him that just because you guys broke up doesn't mean you can't be friends again.

Ok, I like guy, guy likes me. I found out he liked me today from a friend of us both. We don't really know when he will ask you but if you really like him you need to be patient. He just wants to know you better and you should do the same. If he likes your personality and want's to know you more, that's good. He will ask you out though, so don't worry about that. Just be patient and it will happen =)

No guy should tell you what to do and treat you like that. Ever!! & don't let him. If you do break up with him, it's not a mistake because you would be doing the right thing. If he asks you again say no and if he doesn't understand that, then you guys would be better of friends. If you don't want to do it, don't. Even though you might like him, don't let him tell you what to do and let him treat you like you are his property.
