Yes it is a drug..it's pill that is definitly as bad as other drugs. It would also count if someone asked you if you've done drugs, it normally makes you overly hyper and unaware of what you're doing like you could start hitting on your dad and you wouldn't even know it! (eww lol) But sometimes it can have an opposite effect making you extremely tired and uncomfortable..like one sec. your cold the next your hot and you cant sleep..i know this because someone gave it to me thnking it was cough medicine!! So take my advice....it could have the opposite affect on you and make you feel horrible...trust me it was one of the worst nights of my life! and if you have the normal effect...you could end up doing somehting really stupid that you'll regret or you could kill yourself...because your body could react to it in a very bad way! speed is an amphetamine, its bad if taken in large doses. most diet pills contain it. you get hyper as hell and can't go to sleep.
meth is a variant of it. do not do meth, this shit is horrifyingly bad. I had some meth monkeys in my troop awhile back, they did eight rails and stayed up for three days nonstop. its bad news. besides that, it will rot your teeth out like nothing else and can age you twenty years in less than one year of usage. if u do truck stop speed, thats ok every once in a while, but stay the hell away from the heavy shit!!

Speed absolutely counts as a drug. Speed is methanphetamine, which is one of the worst drugs. It's up there with crack, cocaine, and heroin (just so you know, pot is a gateway drug. You can only be mentally addicted to pot; nobody suffers greatly during withdrawal). Don't ever take it! It can wreck and shorten your life. Being depressed is no excuse to go on meth. If you feel pressure from your "friends," remember that people who try to get you to do such a terrible thing are not worthy of your friendship. Especially considering the fact that you're only a teenager (at least I'm assuming that you're a teenager). These reasons (peer pressure, depression, etc) will not be important 20 years from now. Having to go to re-hab and destroying your body with drugs will. If you are depressed, go to a psychiatrist, get some prescriptions for anti-depressants and deal with in a healthy way. In the long term, it can cause severe liver, kidney, brain and lung damage. An overdose can give you heart failure.

It speeds your body and it's not good. It's not like weed but it's still not good for your body even if you have never done drugs before.

yep, speed is a drug. i think it literally "speeds" your body up but it can cause a lot of damage. i think they put other things in it too...it depends on where you get it i guess. yeah if you took it, its considered doing drugs. <3
