my friend called and asked me for a blank Cd and I told her I can't get her one b/c they are my brothers.She kept saying 'oh just ask him' so I said 'i can't, because i had my other friend over and we were watching a movie`I am constantly giving her stuff.i'm not even kidding. I give her clothes,i bought her lunch today(didnt even ask her to pay me back!)when i told her i couldnt she's like 'ok, whatever bye'i thought that was really rude.when people say the word 'whatever' to me i find it offensive and she hung up on me.what should i do? i did nothing wrong and just stuck up for myself... Don't do anything different. It seems like she thinks she deserves charity. I would tell her that she needs to be a bit more independant.

But, if this helps: stay away from people who are doing things that deserve detentions, especially when they are doing it. Because they WILL think you had something to do with it.

My mom grew up in a family of singers, and currently I am also learning how to sing. This isn't the fun, free western pop music, but rigid Eastern music with a lot of rules and tone and pitch regulations. My mother is so attached to this Eastern music that if she's blaring this music in the car and I'm trying to do homework, if I ask her to turn it down she completely blows up at me. I don't really like this kind of music, but my mother has already told me that I cannot quit. The part I really don't like is when my mother starts to help me practice at my house with all the drills and stuff we do in class. She gets ticked off because I "sing the music mechanically- you need to put more life into it." I am in chorus at school and I simply adore it, but my mother won't let me switch to Western music. Is there any way I can get her to see my light or to help me cope with hearing this music everywhere I go? (link)

Tell your mom that you just aren't into that type of music. Tell her that you appreciate that she is trying to help you but that if you want help you will ask. Good luck.

One of my spacers fell out when I had braces, don't worry. If it won't stay in, it did it's job.

And, by the way, the bracelets at the mall do not go to a charitable cause, just in case anybody thinks they do.

Hi. I am 13 years old and I am on the computer a loottttt. All of a sudden things started blanking out when I was on the computer. You know how if you stare straight you can still see things on the right and left of you? Well on my left eye, I cant really see anything to my left when I'm looking straight. Its like blurry. And if I focus on something for example this word....dog.... if I focus on the g the d a o dissapear and then theres only a g with a white backround there. Basically when I focus on anything everything around disappears. And when I stare straight I cant see my arm. Its just not there. But it really is I just cant see it. So, I cant really see anything unless I focus on one thing. And if I watch tv and for instance if I see a face, I cant see their body. Its really weird, and Its hard to explain. Do you think I'm going blind? If I went to an eye doctor what would they do? This is VERY scary and its really freaking me out! Help me please!!! This has never happend before. (link)

If that has been going on for a while, I would go to the eye doctor ASAP. If it just started, wait it out and if it's still there in a few days go to the eye doctor. And let your parents know, likely they can help you.

hey everybody this question is for everyone i am getting braces soon and i am totally freaking out on what colors to get because if i don't like the colors i get then i have to wait till i get them changed again and i am very picky so if anybody could help it would be greatly apperciated thanks i will rate 5's for good and reasonable answers. oh yeah one more thing i am a girl and my favorite color is blue and only blue thanks. Well, I always chose colors for either the colors I wore most (red and blue) or the colors of an upcoming holiday (example: halloween: black and orange). Good luck with your braces and if you need any help onc eyou get them, you can always ask me.

Ok,here goes: My friends and I are starting a dog sitting biz but now I'm not sure we can get any customers cause none of us live in a neighborhood and no one wants to drive so far to my house. And the moneys for a really good cose! Any one have any ideas to get customers or raise money? (theres only 3 of us so no car washes,too hard!)

Hey, that's really weird, we sign our names the same way, and we have the same name. Anyway, you can raise money with garage/ yard sales, and even a carwash (even though I know you said none) because me and my friend did one and we made a lot of money, even though it was just us. And it is easier to start a dog sitting business if you know a few customers already. If they like you, they will spread the word.

im failing math, not by much, i have a 69 and a c is a 70, i just took a test and think i did pretty good so it should be a c now but i have to get a report card signed with the f on it and in like a week were getting our official grade cards with my f on it.i cant show my parents it, ive always been a great student until this year, now im getting only 2 a's , one b i pulled up from a c, a high c, and now this f.and im just so upset with myself for it and now i have to tell my parents who are putting it on me to raise my grades and reminding me that this is my worst grades every and i just cant do it(tell them), i especially dont want my dad to know and its almost the end of the year so i hardly have time to bring it up and if i do bad again im screwed for sure, how do i tell them? how do i bring up my grade?(im not sure my teacher is giving extra credit work anymore) and how do i not fail by the end of the year?

Anyway, explain why it happened--even if it means admitting you didn't study etc. Take responsibility for your mistakes. And change it. You can do better, and if you explain that you are trying your hardest to get it back up, I don't see why they would be mad at you.

I have a friend that has been drinking and stuff. I've told her not to but i know she doesn't care. And now everybody is all like yeah i drink a lot and i've gotten drunk and smoked that. It seems like everybody smokes and drinks! it's crazy we're all still young! I don't do that kind of stuff and I feel weird like ppl think it's no big deal drinking and i say it's wrong and they think i'm weird. I'm so confused! does everybody do the drugs? i'm not going to start doing them but should i still speak up and say they're wrong? (link)

If your friends won't hang out with you just because you are her friend, then they aren't very good friends and they probably aren't the kind of person you want to be friends with anyway. So, I wouldn't worry about it. I think you should befriend her, because, hey everyone needs a friend.

I have show choir auditions in about a week and I didn't make it last year because I wasn't very excited or emotional when we danced and when I did my solo. I have this problem too, but I'm kind of getting over it. You just need to practice until your comfortable enough to sing in front of others. I'm always singing whenever I have the chance, and now I'm a bit more confident even though I still get nervous when trying out for solos and such.

My dad just bought a brand new house,2 story, in a really extremely nice neighboorhood. He's always bragging about the new schools that are in building process and kind of pressuring me and asking me to move with him. Everytime he says "im not trying to get you to move with me", when really he is. Its really getting on my last nerves. How can i come clean (in a nice way) and say stop asking me because i never will. (keep in mind my parents are divorced and i live with my mom). Someone please help soon!!!!

Im 13, and im in 8th grade. Theres this girl, her name is Ashley. She is VERY annoying and she constantly follows me and thinks im her best friend. Shes not my best friend! I have 3 best friends and she is tearing us apart becasuse whenever I leave her for them, she gets mad, and I can't even talk to them without her there! I don't know how to get rid of her because I really want me and my best friends to hang out again without her! I am a 13 year old girl and in 7th grade. I would describe my clothes style as preppy. However, the music I normally listen to is (in my opinion, I really don't know) far from preppy. I listen to bands like Green Day, The Killers, Linkin Park, and Evanesence (I don't think I spelled that right). I was just wondering if anyone thought this was weird. I can listen to some "preppy" music (a.k.a- stuff you would find on TRL) but most of it really bugs me, because it doesn't soud like they are the people singing.
