My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

When does softball season start? How long should I prepare for the try-outs?

If it's at a school, sports like softball or soccer usually start in the spring. If you really want to make it and if you love the sport, you should practice ahead of time. Just warm up every day and you'll be awesome. Good luck!

Hey Whats the AVERAGE height of a 12 year old female?? im just curious .. or do you know any sites that tell the average height and weight??

The avarage height would be about 4'11, close to that. It doesn't really matter as long as you drink your milk and get vitamins. You'll get strong teeth and bones and you'll grow faster. =) Sorry I don't have webbies.

I'll give you some signs that he might.♥ Try to catch him staring at you. If he stares and you stear back, he probablly might like you. Now this doesn't mean if he looks at you just once or twice, but often. ♥ Look if he smiles at you a lot. ♥ When you are with your friends, look if he notices you or if he looks for you. ♥ Pay attention if he has payed more interest in your friends. ♥ Pay attention if he has changed his behavior towards you lately. ♥ Start to show him a little more interest and see how he will respond to that. ♥ If a guy likes you, he will usually find any way to get your attention. Guys who aren't shy will talk to you and flirt. He also might find ways to get closer to you. Like anything really. Hope that helped. ♥

is it possible for your period to start lasting for a longer amount of time? its always been 5 days for me...i got it 6 years ago...now all of a sudden its 6 days long.

That's totally fine. Some girls last a week or week and half. It doesn't mean anything is wrong, it's just horrible. Periods suck! ;( Haha. ♥

I think he is over reacting. I understand that he might be hurt, but he needs to respect you. If he is going to be rude to you, then I say screw him. I know you want to be friends, but he doesn't deserve you treating him like a god and you shouldn't kiss his ass. He got really jelous and it made him cry. It's okay to be emotional, but he also needs to understand your decision. You can't make someone like you if you don't. Just talk to him one more time. Tell him if he really liked you he would respect the fact that you want to be just friends with him. Just give him some time to get over everything. & Thank you. ;) ♥

I have a friend that i like alot more than just friends, but the problem is, Ive told her about this and she ignores me most of the time. I just that, the least she could do is "i just want to be friends" or something, not just ignore me. Another thing is that her boyfriends[or exs, depends on the month] know about it and talk to me about it. Help me out please.

If she ignores you, it means she doesn't really want to say much and she is uncomftrable. I know it sucks for her to ignore you, but when you talk to her in private just talk to her about it. Is it bad that her ex's talk to you about it? I mean, if they are being ignorant and rude to you then just tell them to shut up and that it's none of your buisness, but if they just talk to you in a supportive way then that's fine.

I don't think you sound stupid, but you just aren't ready. You might think you are when you get in the mood, but when you start to do it and you feel guilty is just means you're not ready. There is nothing wrong with that at all so don't think you're being a wimp or something. Wait until you're ready and you won't feel guilty.

The Cliques are good books. Also the Gossip Girl books are very interesting.

One of my favorite books is Go Ask Alice. It's based on a true story. It was actually her diary. She started using drugs, running away. In the end, she dies.

Do you just want to tell him he's cute or ask him out? If you just tell him he's cute, he will still talk to you. I mean why wouldn't he? It's a compliment and people love those. If you want to ask him out, I say you should get to know him better and talk to him more. I mean I don't think he will reject you if you guys flirt and talk a lot and he gets to know you more. Right now I use the new perfume from Hollister. I usually use whatever smells good and things that are soft.

I know a brand called Lucky that makes perfumes. I'm not sure if it's by a celebarty though. Sorry.

What do you mean bumps? If it hurts and if it looks really bad, I suggest calling a doctor and ask what might be the problem. I know it might be uncomftrable but it's for you own good. If it's just small little bumps then that's really nothing.

I'm a 13/f and my bday is coming up soon. My parents asked me what I want but i honestly dont know! lol What are things ($150 and under) that I could ask for?!?!

If you really don't want anything, then just ask for something simple. Such as clothes, jewerly, perfume and whatever you like. If you don't have a digital camera, Ipod, cell phone you could ask for that as well. If I were you I'd just take the money. I mean, if something new comes out and you want it, you could just buy it with your birthday money. ♥ Happy early birthday!!!

Rule No. 1: Life is not fair. Get used to it. The average teenager uses the phrase "It's not fair" 8.6 times a day. You got it from your parents, who said it so often you decided they must be the most idealistic generation ever. When they started hearing it from their own kids, they realized Rule No. 1. Rule No. 2: The real world won't care as much about your self-esteem as much as your school does. It'll expect you to accomplish something before you feel good about yourself. This may come as a shock. Usually, when inflated self-esteem meets reality, kids complain that it's not fair. (See Rule No. 1) Rule No. 3: Sorry, you won't make $40,000 a year right out of high school. And you won't be a vice president or have a car phone either. Being 15 years old, and going through enough to make me mature enough not to waste my life, I found that all of that is true. With the few people that would be willing to listen to me, I actually have tried to tell them all those things, and show them what life is really like [which is actually not like shows shot on a set and aired on MTV monday nights at 10.] My question is this: how can I further help those around my age to become...better? I have been trying to help people along with their troubled lives one at a time, but is that enough to actually pay off in the long run? Would there be anything I could do or say to maybe...get this process going a bit quicker before its too late? Thanks - will rate.

I give props to whoever took the time and wrote that long thing. It's very mature. I have a problem with it though. It's none of thier responsibily to make other kids better. It's not their jobs, and they should really just try to worry about themselves. I know that wanting to help people is awesome, but you can't make someone be better againt their will. Everyone is different, and not everyone is perfect. That person will eventually realize that. There are no rules in life.. I wonder if he/she made those up or what. People should live their life the way they want to. No one needs to be changed for the better or worse. If they really wanted to, they would do it their selves.

She could get arrested and in a lot of trouble if you have sex with her. You have to be 18 to do anything with sexual with an adult. If you really want to have sex with her, I say go for it. Make sure this is something you really want to do though. She probablly won't get in any kind of trouble if no one sees this or hears about it.
