Everytime I go to upload a picture somewhere (photobucket, tinypic, myspace), when I pull up the browse box to look at my folders... this pops up:

Every single time. It's so annoying. And I can't click the box to always remember that I'm saying allow, so how can I fix it? And it doesn't just pop up once, it pops up twice .. grrr
In Internet Explorer, go to tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab -> UNcheck "Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer)" -> OK. This will, naturally, make Internet Explorer less secure.
Disabling User Account Control will also disable Protected Mode, without having to make the above change. If you also want to disable User Account Control ("Windows needs your permission to continue"), go to start -> control panel ->classic view -> User Accounts -> Turn User Account Control on or off -> UNcheck "Use User Account Control..." -> click OK -> restart at your convenience. This will make your computer less secure.
You need administrative privileges to do both of those things.

You must pay for .com, .org, and .net domains. There is no free way to get them. They're only about $10/year, though. .info names are cheaper, as low as $3/year.
No one gets a free domain name, and everyone rents their domain names. ICANN controls the domain name system. They don't allow anyone to own a domain name, only rent it. They charge a fee on every registration of generic top-level domains (.com,.org,.net,etc.), so any company giving you a free generic top-level domain would be losing money. You can't get a domain directly from ICANN, but must go through a domain registrar, which marks up the price. ICANN charges a large fee to become a registrar, so it's not feasible for individuals to become registrars. Country code top-level-domains (.us,.uk,.tt,etc.) are under the control of their respective country, and can have different rules and no fees.

Ok, so my laptop just broke and I need to pick out a new one. I'd definitely like a HP.

The image is therefore copyrighted. You can't legally use it unless the author licenses it to you, or you use it under fair use. The Hello Kitty logo used in the image is also copyrighted, so the author of this bandanna version probably violated copyright by making it.

I just wanted to know who "owns" the internet. I want to claim a domain (my name) which no one has bought or uses yet, but every time i look into it through google they say "buy this domain" or "this domain is not taken yet buy it!" who the hell has a monopoly over the internet isn't it supposed to be open territory... seriously it's equivalent to someone owning all of earth..... is there a way around it?? for me to get the website which i believe should be mine since its MY NAME??

Since those numbers are impossible to memorize and occasionally change, the domain name system was set up. The DNS translates a domain name into the proper IP address. You need more RAM if you're going to be doing video editing or if you're going to use Photoshop or other Adobe products a lot. It will also make The Sims a bit faster. Otherwise, 2GB is fine and $150 is not worth the minimal speed increase 4GB will give you.
1GB is approximately the size of one feature-length movie or 250 songs. Additionally, each Sims expansion takes up about 5GB. 250GB would be best for you, I think.
In my opinion, the Macbook is not worth $999. For that amount, you could buy a top-of-the-line gaming PC. You're paying a lot extra for an Apple logo and OS X.

I have an RCA RS2652 stereo and I pretty much know how it works except the alarm. How are you supposed to set the alarm on it? Preferably with the remote, because I have it set up pretty high where I can't reach it.
From the manual, page 6:

1. Press and hold TIMER until the ON and clock hour flashes on the display (ON - timer on time ).
2. For setting time, press DIGITAL TUNING |>| to set the hour and then press TIMER to shift to minute digits.

7. Press PROG●SET to save settings. Press STOP ■ to quit setting.
The timer is automatically activated once timer setting is saved.

okay so i got an itouch and i get free wifi with it except i dont have a wireless connection in my house so i was going to buy a router for it except my parents dont want it because they said people could pick up our wifi and steal like credit card numbers or private things from our computer and hack in is that true? and cant i just use it for my itouch and my wi console and not the computer itself? thanks!
As long as you set a wireless password and use WPA2, other people won't be able to use your WiFi. This is done in the router configuration; read the manual.
Some routers only support WEP wireless encryption. WEP is insecure. It takes only minutes to hack a WEP connection. Make sure you use WPA2. Also use a strong password of 8+ characters. If you don't do this, other people will be able to see everything you send over the wireless connection, including your credit card numbers and passwords.
I recommend the Linksys WRT54G or WRT54GL wireless router. Both support WPA2 and are easy to set up.

i have a movie on my computer but my computer does not have a dvd burner, only one for cd. I need to find a way to mave the movie to another type of hard drive in order to move it to another computer with a dvd burner. I have a memory card that can hold the movie but there is no way to plug it into my computer. would it just be easyier to just buy a memory stick with enough room and just use that? I dont know what to do. any ideas?

You can also burn the movie to the CD in parts. 1 CD will hold 700MB. If the movie is larger than 700MB, download and install 7-zip:

After it's installed, right click the file and choose 7zip -> add to archive. In the archive window, choose these settings:
-archive format: 7z
-compression level: normal
-Split to volumes, bytes: 700MB - CD
Burn the 7z files to multiple blank CDs and copy them to your other computer. Once all of them are on that computer, install 7zip on that computer and extract the first 7z file. 7zip will put the entire file back together.
You could also buy a USB memory stick. 4GB would cost $20-40. The same size in blank CDs would be less than $2, but you can reuse the memory stick.
