Copyimg a dvd. i have a movie on my computer but my computer does not have a dvd burner, only one for cd. I need to find a way to mave the movie to another type of hard drive in order to move it to another computer with a dvd burner. I have a memory card that can hold the movie but there is no way to plug it into my computer. would it just be easyier to just buy a memory stick with enough room and just use that? I dont know what to do. any ideas?

If both computers are connected to the Internet (or if you have two ethernet cables and a router), you can just transfer the file over the Internet. Do that with HFS:

Contact me if you have trouble with HFS.
You can also burn the movie to the CD in parts. 1 CD will hold 700MB. If the movie is larger than 700MB, download and install 7-zip:

After it's installed, right click the file and choose 7zip -> add to archive. In the archive window, choose these settings:
-archive format: 7z
-compression level: normal
-Split to volumes, bytes: 700MB - CD
Burn the 7z files to multiple blank CDs and copy them to your other computer. Once all of them are on that computer, install 7zip on that computer and extract the first 7z file. 7zip will put the entire file back together.
You could also buy a USB memory stick. 4GB would cost $20-40. The same size in blank CDs would be less than $2, but you can reuse the memory stick. ]
