I've had one of those too.
If your hair is wavy, try straightening it.
If you straighten the waves it will look longer.

Take some time in front of the mirror and do different styles and find a way that looks good.

I need advice on my love life lol. I like a boy named jake that goes to my school.. but hes a Senior. Hes 17. I don't know what to do.. Do you think that a freshman dating a Senior is wrong? And if you think its okkay, do you have any advice on how to get to know him. He goes out to lunch and i dont have any classes with him, occasionally I see him in the hallway and i start up some kind of small talk untill we get to our classes, but it usually doesn;t branch off from there. Well first off, if it is wrong, we are both messed up. I am a freshman of 15 dating a senior of 18 for about 4 months now. There is not a big age difference, in fact we don't care, because we mean alot to eachother.

Ask him to hang out sometime, nothing big, and don't be alone at first, remember he is a 17 year old boy. Maybe get a group of friends and go somewhere.

That might be kind of awkard though.

Think of something creative, maybe even when you are talking to him in the hallway be like "so are you going to be at lunch?" And since he is going to say no, look disappointed, and maybe, just maybe, he can ask you to come along.

Don't act immature though, be yourself and be confident.

My armpits are really red, I'm not sure what its from but i think it might be from a shower gel I got from a friend for Christmas. So, I stopped using that, and my arm pits are less red but its still there on one pit. Also sometimes theres bumps on that armpit. What can I do to make this go away? Its really annoying.

I had exactly this.

Mine were very red and extremely itchy.

You may have sensetive skin, so switch to Dove sensetive skin soap. And for deotorant, try Dove sensetive skin, they have less chemicals than Secret and all those others.

If they doesn't help, go to the derm. She gave me this cream that made it clear up really well.

I am in a band and my band and I have great songs but, just not great enough for people to actually listen to and dance to. I want to have great music that could actually be on an albumn someday. any advice that I could use to spice my music up a notch? I am from America and ten years old. Yet we still have wonderful songs. at least, I think.

My friend is in a band, they are pop punk, and he writes his lyrics based on stuff that is happening in his life.

People like music they can move to, but not so much dance to. Have a different varity of tempos, some songs slow, some songs upbeat and fun.

My boyfriend is in a band, so I gave him your question, and here is what he thinks:

Listen to different kinds of music, rap, funk, even disco, and get ideas. Write songs, and ask people their honest opinions on them, likes and dislikes. Have fun with it, you don't want to write something and not have it be an enjoyable experience. When you have a couple of songs, record it on something, and then make a myspace. When you have a myspace, you can get not only you friends, but other peoples perspective on it.

Everyone is going to think of a topic like that, why don't you do something a little different, get your audience in the mood.

I did Hauntings, like ghosts and stuff. Went on google and looks up stories about ghosts and hauntings all around my state, and in the U.S.

It was a huge hit, everyone was amazed. I made a poster with different pictures I found, and they really liked it.

Do something fun. It would wake people up and get them interested.

1.I haven't been able to watch mtv's wake up (the music videos) or listen to much radio..and I really want to update my comp and iPod with some new songs.
Things like soft rock, pop and rock pop...anything they consider popular. I am currently downloading "dream" by common and will.i.am!
So any new 'top' songs suggested will help!

2. There's also a song I want to find out it's name and the artist. It's 2 girl (sisters or friends) and they were on discover and download on mtv. They were singing a song and the video had like hearts flashing red by their real hearts. I was in the same perdicament a couple months ago. But being the wonderful boy he is, my boyfriend gave me another chance.

It depends on what kind of mess up you did. If it has anything to do with cheating, he most likely lost trust for you. And there is no love without trust, so basically you have to earn it back.

So that he is the only boy in your life, the only one you want to be with. Don't flirt with any guys, don't call them hot [around him anyways, be completely devoted to him.

Maybe sometimes do something cute, like write him notes or compliment him.

Basically show him that you care, and you are thankful he gave you another chance.

i will be going to tennessee with my boyfriends family for 3 days this weekend. unfortunately, the weather calls for a chance of rain. i have long, naturally wavy/curly hair that i usually straighten (it looks HORRIBLE curly, no matter what i do. ha). soo i was wondering what are some cute hair styles i could do for if it does rain. i have side swept bangs that just cover my eyeballs, so even if i put it up, my bangs will curl and look obnoxious. styles for with or without a toboggan or cadet hat would be great!

Ahh. I have the same problem.

For school, we have to swim and we can't use straighteners, so my side bangs get curly.

You can take some gel, or hairspray, just a little bit, and sweep it in your bangs so they aren't as poofy.

That's what I do and they stay straighter.

Haha. If you touch a guys penis, or somewhere close to it, you are most likely going to make him horny, and he will get an erection. Meaning his penis is getting "hard." If you can turn your guy on then it's a good thing, but if you tease him too much he might get angry.

Ok..i play for a travel volleyball team and our first tournament is next weekend. Well..im the only new girl on the team..the rest of the players played last year and im really nervous that im gonna do bad in the game. I dont want the other girls to think im a bad player. How do i handle this?

Of course you are going to be nervous, it is your first game. Joining the team and making it already put a good impression on the other girls, it means that you are good enough to play. Remember you are on their for a reason, to have fun and play the sport you love. Don't think about it as your first game, think of it as just a practice. Also, the girls with put into consideration that you are new to the team, so don't worry about them thinking you are a bad player. You can only get better.

my knee hurts SO bad. it feels like someone is stabbing right thru my kneecap. i've been to an orthopedic surgeon for it before and they took xrays and said that it was just my knee trying to come out of its socket and so its grinding against the bone because my muscles are so strong there that theyre forcing it over. so we had to go buy a brace. then they put me in pshysical therapy for it for like 3 months. so now its getting REALLY bad again and i just want the pain to stop. pain reliever isnt working. any ideas or anyone know what this may be?

When you were in physical theropy
I'm sure they gave you some exersizes
to do. For me, they worked on balance
so the muscles around my knee would become stronger, and pull equally. Work on the different things that you learned, and it should get back to somewhat normal, or to the point were the pain will stop.

I'm a teenage girl who is going to commit suicide today. No questions asked. I could never cut myself or jump off of a building- but I might be able to suffocate myself. But the problem with that would be that I don't know if I'd come back to consciousness with brain damage or not. Does suffocation cause brain damage? Or does it just kill you? I have read that Browns make blue eyes pop, brown eyeliner and a light brown eyeshadow and brown/black mascara.

But, i have also read in Cosmo, that peaches can make your eyes stand out. Peachy colored eyeshadow.

But for blonde hair, go with browns. I do that and it works amazingly.

i have been using chewing tobacco for about 10 months and i just looked at my gums in the mirror and on one tooth the gum is alot lower then the other teeth. is this because of the chewing tobacco

Dip basically makes your gums ware away.
So the more you use it, the worse it will get.
My friends do dip, and their gums are practically not there.

I suggest you stop if you want to keep your gums.
