Ok, a long time ago I vagly remember someone telling me that when you get your period, its not actually real blood. But I only heard that once, everyone else like my health teacher just said blood and stuff. So is it actually blood or something else?

it's blood. real blood. that's why a lot of women have low iron because blood has iron in it and they loose it when they have their periods. just in the beggining it won't look like blood it will look like really dark stuff. yeahh kind of gross i know. buttt it's deffinitly blood :)
