ok. so i have a vagina that smells like pee and i wipe myself very good. could it be becasue i dont have my period ? im just concious about it cuz im afraid at gymnastics people can smell it. cuz i can smell it alot.
charmed3fanatic answered Friday February 2 2007, 11:43 pm: it's probably just discharge. you get it likeee a year before you get your period. just make sure you change your underwear daily. andd if that doesn't help than you might have a yeast infection. in that case you need to see a doctor [ charmed3fanatic's advice column | Ask charmed3fanatic A Question ]
solidadvice4teens answered Friday February 2 2007, 10:39 pm: Are you sure it smells like urine? Does it smell any stronger than that to you? There is a chance you might have an infection if you are smelling a strong or foul odor. This is especially the case if that odor is followed by weird discharge.
I would tell your mother, aunt, sister, grandma or older female you feel comfortable telling that you feel your vagina smells weird and are not sure if you have an infection or if the smell you are describing is normal or not. If they think you have an infection they'll know what to do about it as every girl has dealt with this kind of thing before.
Although, it's embarassing to talk to them about it they will understand as I'm sure they were your age once and had the same questions you have that you want answered.
I highly doubt that your classmates know a thing or you would have heard rumors or faced taunting. Odds are, they're oblivious and that you are paranoid that it smells worse than you think and others can pick up on it.
