Question Posted Friday February 2 2007, 8:18 pm

so i'm a fifteen year old girl.
i've had sex before with my boyfriend with condoms and it's been all good.
until today, we had it with the "mint tingle" from trogen.
we went all the way
and it broke.
we didnt notice it broke until he cumed.

so my questions are
what should i do? i've cleaned my self out a lot. we got it (or most of it) before it got in, i cleaned it with water and i'm about to go shower.
and what are the chances of me getting preg?
and has this happened to some one else, what happened, and what condom did you use?

you should go to the ohspital and get the 72 hour pill they will ask you some questions but then they will give it to you and you have to go get it from the pharmacy then take it immediatly then sleep and take a test a few days after

No matter how much you cleaned yourself out, there is still probabily sperm inside you since sperm is mircoscopic and it only takes 1 to fertilze an egg. I suggest the morning after pill if it has been less than 3 days since this incident.

audra's right. It's not as easy to get pregnant as most parents, sexual education teachers, etc. make it out to be. I know becoming pregant is a scary thought, but just keep in mind that even if you have unprotected sex, you aren't always going to get pregnant. Of course there's always that chance, but the more you stress, the worse this entire situation will become. You used protection, the method just become unreliable. Washing or cleaning yourself won't do anything if by some chance you are pregnant. You wasted your time. I'm not sure when this happened, but if it's not to late, try buying the morning after pill. Use a different brand of condoms next time, and consider getting put on the pill.

You probably have a 50/50 chance of being pregnant. Even though you cleaned yourself out with water, that won't get rid of the possible fertilized egg. Some people think that douching works too, but it doesn't. Even if you get rid of visible semen, sperm is microscopic so you won't be able to see it and all you need is one to impregnate you. You're probably best off taking a pregnancy test if you're really worried about it. <333

tomorrow when you get up. go and take the day after pill. it costs about 45$ but it's worth it. it happened to my friend. i told her to do the same thing. it's always better to be safe; cause your chances are pretty high up there.

&edit.

you can get them at a pharmacy;; like cvs, eckard, or walgreens

my husband and i are trying to start a family, i have read so many fertility books, and am currently turning to my doctor and priscription pills in order to be able to become a mom...

i'm 25 years old now, and i remember the start of my relationship with my husband, then only my boyfriend, i was 18, and had my first of many pregnancy scares... i can't even tell you how much money i have wasted on pregnancy tests...

recently i was watching Sex in the City, and Charlotte was telling her friends how difficult it is for her to concieve.. and she said something to the tune of: "in my twenties i was so scared of getting pregnant 'it only takes one time', now in my thirties i'd give anything to be pregnant!"... or it was something to the tune of that...

when i was 15 years old all i ever heard was how easy it was to get pregnant... almost as if the first time of having sex would get me pregnant... now that i am actually trying i have found out that it is alot more difficult and more complicated then that...

sorry, i didn't mean to go off on a tangent... all i am trying to say is, don't beleive everything you hear, yes, it can take only 1 time, but sometimes it takes a whole lot more then that... i wouldn't be worried until about a week after your missed period...

on another note, 15 is very young to become a mother... you technically aren't even old enough to get a job, or drive a car by yourself yet...

i would put the sex on hold for a while... this scare might make it easier for you to convince your boyfriend that you want to cool it on the sex...

Your chances are pretty high if you don't take birth control. You need to go get the morning after pill ASAP.

Nope, never happened to me since I've never done it. =)

You can't exactly "clean yourself out." But if the condom broke & he came, your chances are pretty high. My suggestion would be to go to your local Planned Parenthood (locate your nearest one @ plannedparenthood.org) & get the morning after pill if you had sex within 72 hours. (The sooner, the better.)
