advice
does anyone know any good books. i like teen love stories. Like not being mean, but one of the kids get sicks and die, like those love stories.. does anyone know any good books like that?.. oh sorry this is in the wrong category, i wasnt sure what to put it under!.. thanks!!!* =]

i just shaved my legs today. for passover break (which is at the end of this month)

Yeah, it should be long enough. The hair needs to be 1/8-1/4 of an inch long to wax.
I have these dots (red) and ingrown hairs on my legs, after years of hair removal (shaving, waxing, you name it). It's really annoying- even after waxing, I still have them and some of them are actually scars from having picked at them beforehand, which I know I shouldn't do. What are some effective ways of getting rid of red dots and ingrown hairs? if you happen to be of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern descent--or otherwise hairy background, you know what I'm talking about :P
Treat the red dots (I'm thinking you're talking about razor burn?) to hydrocortisone. It will reduce the redness and swelling of the dots quickly.
Shave after you've been in the shower for about 10 minutes to let your hair and skin soften up. Use shaving cream instead of soap to shave with. After shaving, moisturize to reduce irritation and restore moisture.
Ways to remove ingrown hairs:
1. Manually remove ingrown hairs with special tweezers
2. Shave in a different direction
3. Allow the hair to grow in order to cause the hair to come out straighter
4. Use special razors that leave the hair longer
5. Exfoliate with facial scrubs, sponges, towels, or creams containing acids such as salcylic acid.
6. Treatment with Ibuprofen or other NSAIDs promotes resolution of stubborn cases
7. Prophylaxis with twice daily topical application of diluted Glycolic acid

so i know someone and he still has trouble with his basi math like addition subbtraction multiplication and division facts. he isnt a younger kid. ive been asked to help him, and i use flash cards but i dont know how to get him to remebering them. does anyone have any suggestions to help him learn these??? thanks
I used to have trouble in basic math. When my parents hired a tutor for me, she used flashcards as a "warm up" for about 5-10 minutes.
She then would write some division/multiplication/addition/subtraction problems on a piece of paper and show me how to solve them. She then wrote a few more and guided me through them as I'd solve them. And finally, she let me solve some on my own and checked them when I was finished.
This help me understand basic math so much better and my math grade increased dramatically.
my lil sis is worryed and trying to gain wieght. im telling her, she just needs to go throught puberty a lil more.

Maybe I'm just a person who feels this way, but when I give advice, half the people don't even respond to me, like give me a rating. Of course I know it's their decision to rate, but I really don't appreciate the fact that I spend a good amount of time answering a question, and the person doesn't rate me. ok what's the difference between being on your period and ovulating? because i heard that if people do it while they are "ovulating" then it will be more of a chance to get pregnant. but if it's the same as a period.. won't blood get everywhere? basically, what is ovulating?

You're thinking about Seasonale. You actually get four periods a year. Keep in mind though, the longer you go without having your period, you have an increased chance of breakthrough bleeding (an unexpected period) and/or spotting.

Tell your mom that your periods aren't completely regular and that birth control will help regulate them while you get fewer periods. Assure her you'll stay away from sex.

Read your current policy carefully to make sure that you are obligated to tell your insurer you are adding a driver. Not all policies currently require you to do so, although people assume they must. If the policy does not require it, your teen may be covered as a permissive driver. But, be careful, since some policies do not afford the same coverage for unnamed permissive drivers. And, if you're adding a car to the policy, you may be required to identify the primary driver (and not telling the truth about that would be a bed idea). Hope I haven't just given you more questions.

OKay, my mother just bought a car and is paying insurence for it. I have my G2 but do not pay any insurence. If I would like to drive her car or my boyfriends parents car will I get in trouble for not having my own insurence even though the car itself is insured?

No, I don't think have done anything wrong. I however, think that you writing "I hate you, mom" in your diary just egged her on. She should allow you SOME space, especially in your diary. That's where you should be able to freely express your thoughts and feelings without anyone else reading it.

I do believe that your mom has some right of knowing what's going on in your life. She, however, doesn't need to read your diary to find out. She should be able to talk to you to find out what you're doing. Has she met most of your close friends? If not, arrange for them to meet so your mom can see you have good friends.

It is not recommended to mix alcohol with isotetrin.
Accutane already has the possibility of messing up with your liver, as does alcohol. If you mix the two together, it could have devastating effects on your liver.
As far as I know, alcohol doesn't really have an affect on the medicine.
well im confused. my mom says im not covered on her insurance when i drive alone [i drive her car sometimes if i go somewhere because sadly i dont have one yet] but everyone else is telling me that im covered on my parents insurance since im only 16, even when i drive alone. so i was wondering if anyone else knew.. i looked on the companys website but couldnt seem to find an answer. i live in Georgia and we have State Farm if that helps.
You do have your license (not a permit) right? If you just have your permit, then you're definitely not covered by your mom's insurance if you drive alone.
If you have your license, you MUST have your OWN liability. Your mom's liability will not cover you. However, if she has full coverage on her car, you will have full coverage on her car except for liability. If you get into a wreck and you don't have liability, then the full coverage will not cover you.

I wanted to get lowlights. But do i have to tell the person what color i want? cause i have no idea! Also, I have light skin,will lowlights flush me out? My hairs a light brown, and my eyebrows/eyelashes are JET BLACK. So is this a good idea,seeing as all of my other hair on my face is dark,i should get lowlights? And my hair is like a caramel color,my eyes are Brown. What do you think? Also any cute cuts? Just tell the stylist that you want lowlights but aren't sure of what color. They'll give you suggestions and point you in the right direction.
I think lowlights will look great. Do you want them to be subtle or bold? Fine, thin ones will give you an overall darker color without it being obvious. Bold, chunky ones will be more noticeable.

I've had lowlights AND highlights put in my hair numerous times. It really depends on what you're going for. Are you trying to go more blond? If so, go for highlights. Are you trying to get your hair a little darker without HAVING to marry your hair and keep up with dying it? Then get lowlights.
It recently cost me about $85 dollars to get my hair highlighted.
