Laurlene McDaniel writes amazing books like that. I've read several of her books and they're short but good. =] ♥

Two of the best books I've ever read are "A Walk to Remember" and "The Notebook." You might've already read those, and if you have, check out any other book by Nicholas Sparks. His books are more mature and less annoying and superficial than most books. He writes amazing stories, but anyone can read them because he doesn't go crazy with big words and things like that.

I hope I helped, and if you have any more questions, feel free to leave one in my inbox!

Anything by Sarah Dessen pretty much falls under that category. Like,

The Truth About Forever
Someone Like You
That Summer
This Lullaby

This Lullaby and The Truth About Forever would probably interest you most, though.

The Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella is also really great. There are five books in the series, and they're all really captivating.

Lastly, The Boyfriend List by E. Lockhart, and it's sequal, The Boy Book, are really interesting, quick reads, and about that type of thing.

lurlene mcdaniel writes pretty much what you just described. she has a ton of books, and they're almost always about teens who are in love and then one gets cancer. just about every library will have them.

I read a book by Laurlene McDaniels a few years back and it was about a girl and her amish bf and i think someone dies. I got it at the library, i remember that much. I don't read a lot but I did like this book. I've heard this is a good love story author so just check a few of her books out. <3

Have you read "The Flowers In the Attic" series? If you saw the movie, the book is nothing like it.

This describes the plot of the story.
