I'm Kelly. I'm 15. And I have experienced a lot in life. I love helping people, so i decided to get one of these a while back. I don't come on a lot, but maybe I will start more often. I also answer questions with honesty, and how i would work things out. I have delt with a lot, and i probably have had a problem similar to yours. i have never played soccer/softball or any sports on a team before but i have played soccer/softball for fun. I am going to 10th grade. i was going to try out during my freshman yr but i decided not to, i dont know why i didnt. do you think i should still try out for the team, i dont mind if im in freshman team as long as im in the team cuz i want to play one sport in highschool atleast..and should i join a club too for nxt yr? and one more question which one should i take..French OR Spanish..?? i already signed up for Spanish but i could change it and i think french sounds sexier. what do you think?! tysm

for the sports things, i think you should deffinitally go for it! being part of the team always feels great and keeps you busy as well in fit. you can also make great friends from the team. so yes i do think you should try out for sports. you never know, it could be the best thing youve ever done. if you want to join a club, make sure you have enough time for everything else. ofcorse it always looks good on your record and whatever, but you have to keep up with your grades and friends too. dont take on too much =) but when it comes to french and spanish, i cant really choose for you. its all up to youu. i do think french is sexier but spanish is easier. good luckk

so i have sort of a dilemma, haha. k, so everytime i like a guy, he always seems to like one of my friends and not me. it happens all the time. like, right when i think they're starting to like me, they go and ask out one of my friends. guys always tell me that they like me as a friend. i don't get it, i mean i'm really nice, people tell me i'm very pretty, and i'm not selfish, unlike half the girls at my school. maybe they don't like me because i'm not that confident and i guess i'm quiet sometimes. but still, alot of my friends who are way more shy than me have alot of guys after them. so my question is: should i be more outgoing, or am i looking too hard and just wait it out until a guy who really likes me for who i am ? thanks

really, im sorry but it must suck. honestly, maybe you should do both. theres nothing wrong with beocming a little more outgoing. as long as your still yourself, and you are still comfotable. dont go to a certian point where you feel uncomfortable and not yourself. that will only lead to a big mess [ ex- dancing on a table at a dance club, you prolly wouldnt feel comfortable doing it, but some people would. ] and you should deffinitally wait until the guy that likes your FOR YOU comes along,. ofcorse- until then, you might have to live with just being the friend. or maybe you can meet some people and just not introduce them to your friends. maybe go to the movies, or a summer camp or a teen hangout place around or something, you know. just to meet new people, it will also help with your confidence level. maybe just try walking up to a cute guy and being like hey i thought you were cute so i wanted to walk over and say hi. im [yournamehere]. or something be comfortable, and you can always start over. and the best part with that is that you prolly wont see those people again, unless you plan too. so you could be a complete goofball. just try different levels and figure out what feels right. guys are attracted to confidence though. good luck and if you need more help, you are ALWAYS welcome to leave a message in my inbox.

hey everone ok well i have this friend and she's mad at me /c i told some people about this guy she told me abuout.. and ya we're not friends nmore.. and she lives across the street from me!!! omg now her friends r making fun of me.. and today one of them wuz making fun of me of how i walk... and ya my mom thinks im friends w/ her still and i can't tell her that we're not friends nemore over some stupid guy!! cuz she'll get really mad at me!! so what should i do? pleese help me!!!

you should really try talking to her. but maybe not directly, call and leave a message on her phone or im her or email her. or since she lives close put a letter in her mailbox or something. tell her what you told on here - that you cant not be friends with her. try talking to her about what you did, and how you feel. try walking a mile in her shoes - how would you feel if she did that to you? hurt, right. and tell her its not a good idea to loose a great friendship over a stupid boy. its dumb-especially if your really close. just talk to her and make sure she knows how much she means to you. oh, and try and get her frineds to keep there way out of your fight. its always super annoying when people butt in on a fight - especially when they may have no idea what its about. good luck!

can a sunburn on your face cause acne?

in a round about way it can. sun is good for your face, but sunburn is bad. it irritates your face, and your pores. and it may make it feel better because your face is dried out more, it is only TEMPORARY. when your skin gets dried out, it worsens your acne. a sunburn causes the skin to make more oil, leading to higher likelihood of acne. so, in short answer, yes - it does. good luck

Making out with my girlfriend has been fun for both. However, I would like to make it more enjoyable. When kissing, we just kiss the usual french kiss style. i just turned 16..and one of my closest friend asked me to come over so i asked my Mom if i can come over to her house and she said no because she says she doesnt trust my friends and she says because she never know what me and my friends are doing, we might be doing "bad" things. and she has MET my friend that asked me to come over. and shes definitely not of those slutty-party-drug girl shes one of the nicest person you could meet. and my mom knows im not those type of kid too. what should i do?? should i tell her that my friend is REALLY nice and were not gonna do bad things. and she can trust me...help pls? wow, this is a toughy. maybe you should plan out with your friend[s] some things your thinkning about doing. maybe pedicures, a walk, talking to boys on the phone, makeovers, movies [ etc ]. make sure she knows that her parents are gonna be home. and that your a " good girl " and you arent interested in doing those sorta things. anytime she brings it up be completely disgusted with the thought. and make sure its hte same way with your friend. let your mom know that if anything happens you will call her as soon as possible. if she still says no, then ask to just go over and not spend the night.. that way you still hang out but you dont get suspected of doing all those things. good luckk

i think being friends is always better. but then you can always take that extra step to try and become something more. AND if it doesnt - then you can always rebound to just being friends. get to know him, and about him.. dont just like him for his looks.. good luckk

hey i just found out that the guy i like doesn't like me or my bestfriend that i thought he liked, it turns out he likes no one and that actually makes me feel better then him liking my bestfriend. i still like him, but then i don't. any advice?

its completely understandable about how you feel. you feel like you want to get over him because he doesnt feel the same way you feel about him, but for some reason there is something keeping you from doing that. pretty much the only things you can do is keep your mind off him by keeping busy, and just allow yourself time. or you can always try and get him to like you, but im not sure how thats gonna turn out - so i dont wanna get your hopes up. i think you should just get over him. im sure there is a guy thats 100 times better and is completely interested in you. but, dont rush into anything. just take your time. the best time to get in a relationship is when you feel that you dont need one. good luck

I want pretty eyes.. How can I make my eyes stand out? Do I use a pencil eyeliner on top and liquid on the bottom? What colors [eyeshadow] go together? er.. or what colors would look good on me?

I have dark brown hair. Brown eyes. light skin but not pale.

for more standing out, use eyeliner. it doesnt matter whether you use liquid and pencil. but if you dont do it a certian way, it may look a bit over the top. or not proportionate. MAKEUP- deep matter earth tones and jewel colors liek hunter green, dark grey, beige and brown will bring out your eyes. coral and plumb colors work good to accentuate your cheekbones. experiment with your lip color. your skin tone is very versatile and and since your brunette, anything from pink to red will look great on you. top it off with lip gloss for extra staying power. bronzing powder dusted over your forehead, nose and cheeks will give you the ultimate sun-kissed look. CLOTHES COLORS - THE BEST- sharp, stark and clear hues. intense, rich colors, like black, navy blue, red, and hot pink
bright white or icy pastels, like cool blues, pinks and yellows. THE WORST- earthy tones and subdued colors like beige, orange and gold. light-medium browns and some camel. good luckk

Ok. I have long brown hair and I always shower and keep clean. But I always wear my hair down so I think that affects my neck. I always notice I have acne on it so im affraid that when I HAVE to wear my hair up, it will all show. what do I do to stop that acne?

just try using an acne wash on your neck. some people use it for their backs and whatever, so you can use it for your neck too. also, when you sweat excessively, try using an oxy pad or a towel to wipe the sweat, then wash it with soap and water whenever you can. also, i knwo you can get embarressed but when your at home or somewhere where you dont care try putting your hair up or in braided pigtails or something. then you wont "affect" your neck as much, besides only going to school. good luckk
