if i delete an UNREAD sent message does the person not get it that i sent it to? because i wanted to delete it and resend it with something else

no. they will have a thing that says new message but it wont show up. If you delete it bofore they read it.

No they get the message.
I tried erasing a message hoping that the person I sent it to, wouldent get it..but he did. So yeah it gets sent.

I believe your right. If it has not been read yet, and you delete it, then the person will not be able to see it. Sorry I'm not more certain on this, but I'm 90% sure that you are correct :]. Then you can resend it with more information.
