So basically on December 21st, 2012 around 11:11pm the world is supposed to end, and Im freaking out haha. opinions on this?
You're referring to where the Mayan calendar ends. My best guess as to why it ended there was...why make a calendar and continue it for thousands of years? They probably just found a decent stopping point and ended it. Just because you own a 12-month calendar and it ends on December 31st, does that mean the world ends after that day?

i need some opinions...do you think teenage relationships are pointless? me and my boyfriend are 17 and been together for a year. i'm not the kind of girl and he's not the kind of guy to throw around the "l" word, but we honestly love each other.
he's my other half and i honestly can't remember life before him...we tried breaking up once because we were afraid of getting too attached before college, it didn't work to well since we ended up getting back together....however, this is why i'm worried...
i know its bad to get so attached, especially when college is around the corner...we both don't really know whats happening next year.
so my question is, do teenage relationships actually last? or are they just another thing to get upset about when you have to break up for college :/
Let me share my feelings through a personal experience.
My girlfriend and I started dating the second semester of senior year. Both of us were 17. After summer ended, she moved to San Angelo for college, about an hour and a half drive away. That was the hardest time for us. We broke up and got back together three different times that semester. She was so homesick that she moved back and transferred to my university. Was it solely because of me? No, she missed her family and friends, and the friends that were supposed to be moving there with her bailed out and she went at it alone. Because she was so depressed, she couldn't make any friends over there.
Not long after she moved back, we moved out of our respective parents' homes and got our first apartment together. Since then, we've shared 5 birthdays together, lived in three different apartments, and we're now renting our first house. So, do I think teenage relationships are pointless? Honestly, I don't think any relationship is pointless. If nothing more, it serves as a lesson for future relationships.
My point is, before she moved away for college, we comtemplated breaking up to avoid the pain of a long-distance relationship. Had we agreed on that, we would not be together today. As it has been said before, if it is meant to be, it will last through whatever hardship life throws at you.
We've survived long-distance, financial troubles, more fights than any non-married couple can usually bear, being "separated" and the subsequent "seeing other people", etc. etc. If I listened to a friend and they listed everything in a relationship I'd been through, I'd tell them to turn tail and break up with the crazy bitch. But it's hard to put into words...you must learn to forgive and forget. Anyway, I've gone off onto a tangent. You have my answer. Do with it what you will.

do you specialize in computers? You have some cool settings on advicenators, like how you switched the html for asking questions to "hit me up to ask a question" I think thats cool. Just wondering. My column is boring..If you have advice to spruce it up, let me know! - xosodapopx3
Not really. I helped design the school website back in elementary, and took a couple classes back in high school. I've since forgotten everything I'd ever learned, and everything I did to my column I did back in high school when I still could pretend to know what I was doing. I just added a picture to the top of my column, and it took me 3 or 4 tries to get it right. Staring at my code, it's all greek to me now.
In short, no, as far as html goes, I can't tell you jack. Looking at the code, you can change certain parts of text to say what you want it to say. Before you change anything, copy everything in a text file in change you change something and don't know how to fix it. I taught myself html with basic tutorials and fucking with things until I liked the way they looked.

when i give my guy a hj/bj he cums and it gets on his shirt and like all over the place and im sure it isnt comfortable for him..im not going to lick it off of him or swallow ...are there any other things i can do so it won't get all over his shirt? and any other advice?i just started doing this lol thanks
Right as he...achieves his goal, pull upwards at the tip and keep a somewghat tight grip to cut it off. Not a death grip, you don't wanna hurt the guy. This slows the flow but does not stop it. Have some tissues ready for clean up, and for god's sake take his shirt off. Those stains are tough to get out and pretty embarassing if his mom finds them or something.

I need a new anime series to watch..... Have any good ones? Excluding Cardcaptors, Death Note, Sailormoon, Pokemon......, Mew Mew Power, Bleach, Naruto, Chobits, Ghost Hunt, DNAngel and Fruitsbasket...
The finest anime I have ever seen, of the few I have watched, is Trigun. It's got comedy, drama, and character development. My girlfriend isn't an anime fan by any means, but she loved Trigun. She's also a big fan of Fullmetal Alchemist, which I hear is currently being remade. I suggest these two, but if you'd like a little more action, I'd also go for Yu Yu Hakusho. It's a fighting anime, but with a good focus on storyline, making it much less childish than say, Dragonball Z.

So Saturday night I had a six-pack of smirn. and I felt pretty good, and by the way I don't usually drink. Anyways, that night I didn't throw up, but the next morning I had my first hang over. Stomach hurt and my head felt really hot. On the way home, I threw up. I felt a whole lot better after, but my question is... why didn't I throw up that night. Would it have been better if I did? and how do you prevent having a hang over?(don't tell me not to drink). Thanks if you reply :D
Typically, a hangover is far less likely if you throw up the night before. Throwing up is good; you've had too much to drink, your body knows it, and it's trying to rectify the problem before it does serious damage. If you don't throw up, do drink plenty of water. Make sure you eat something before you drink as well. Food absorbs some of the alcohol and keeps you from getting so sick.
There are pills out there that allegedly prevent hangovers. I've never tried them, but I wouldn't recommend them anyhow. I assume they just cover up the problem. I'd say it'd be better for your body to teach you how to properly drink and avoid hangovers. Learn the hard way, as they say.
I don't get hangovers, for one of two reasons. Either I've eaten and take a bottle of water to bed with me, or I drink far too much and throw it up anyway. I highly suggest the former.

This question is for guys:
What do you find sexier; a girl in a lacy bra and thong set or a girl dressed only in one of your tshirts. Just wondering.
It's a tough decision, that will vary from guy to guy. I love a thong, but lace just doesn't do it for me. Why not wearing a thong and my t-shirt?

ok, so like Ive posted before, my fiance and I are getting married in December.
We already live together, and have all our house furnishings, so i dont see a need to register...
But we would like money from our guests to help pay for the honeymoon.
is there a nice way to put on the invitations that we want money instead of girft?
any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm attending a wedding this weekend, and in lieu of gifts, the bride and groom are setting up a money tree. I don't know what the hell a money tree is, but apparently, according to my girlfriend, they want money instead of gifts. I assume we just bring cash to the reception and put it in the pot like everyone else. Or maybe it's some gimmicky thing where we physically hang it on a tree. It's something worth looking up, I'd think.

so i'm thinking about buying a laptop... since i need one for college, i don't want to carry a huge one, just a regular sized one or a mini laptop. what brand would you recommend the most, the ones that barely crash and stuff? i can't do apple or mac, because they start at $999 which is something i can't afford. please & thank you!
I suggest a mini. The smaller screen makes for longer battery life, so you can make it through a class without having to bug everyone for a place to plug it in. You can get a decent one for close to $300. It won't be the highest-end computer, but it will certainly do everything you'd need for school. As for brand, I prefer HP. My girlfriend has a Dell Inspiron that she's had trouble with in the past. At work, it seems to be the brand most turned in for service issues.

Hi. Im 16. i was confirmed in the catholic church this year, and they said that to be confirmed you have to want to be in the church and everything, but truthfully, like many others, i did it because of family.
I am a religious person, just, first of all i dont believe many things of the catholic church. secondly, i want to find a religious place that i can be in and feel like i belong. you have to understand that i cant really go anywhere yet (i cant drive, and my mom is catholic and so is my dad but he doesnt go to church), but even if i find a religion that i understand and believe in i will be happier.
I' dont believe in many things of the catholic church. i believe in god, tho im not even sure, cuz i've read about pagans and they believe in more than one and thats possible. i also dont know if i believe that jesus was the sone of god. there are so many people who belive he was, and so many that dont. there are also so many athiests. how do i know whos right?.. i've been to a jewish temple, because my aunts are jewish. i liked it, but im not sure if that is the religion for me.
what are some ways i can find a religion that is meant for me?
thank you very much. im sorry if this is a confusing question..
I was confirmed at age 16 as well, only for the benefit of my mother. She made me go until I was 18, at which point she left it up to me. At the time, I considered myself athiest, and only did it so she'd shut up. I hated being woken up every Sunday morning to go somewhere I don't enjoy to praise beliefs I don't share. Needless to say, from age 18 and up to the present, I don't attend church. I no longer consider myself an athiest, however. I'm more agnostic. As for your question, who is right...we don't know. Billions of people think they know, but no one does. I personally believe that none of have it right. My guess is, God doesn't particularly care what church we go to, or how we worship. God doesn't care about tithing, potluck lunches, or lighting the altar candles in a certain order. I imagine God wants us to live peacefully, being kind enough not to maim and kill each other.
I've always been a huge advocate of not accepting 100% of the ideas and beliefs of any one denomination or religion. Open your mind to all possibilities. Read the teachings of all major religions, and maybe the lesser accepted ones. Combine them into your own, personal system of beliefs. You can believe in reincarnation, support abortion, give to the poor and not be offended by homosexuality all at once if you want to. No one can tell you that you're doing it wrong.
I was unable to find a religion I could truly believe in. I'm a logical guy, and I have little faith in abstract concepts. I do not consider myself any less moral than your average Christian, Jew, or Muslim either. I don't think that religious faith = morality. Too many people have proven the opposite.
In short, do what you're comfortable with and keep an open mind. I tend to listen to other people's ideas and respond with "well, you could be right, but then again maybe not." I don't ever tell anyone that they are wrong. I have no way of knowing, and neither do they. None of us will know until we're dead. Or maybe we won't. Whatever.

Okay well I'm 13 and weigh like 100-103 pounds. I think I'm fat. All of my friends don't but I do. They are all super skinny. I really want to go to a gym and work out like on the tredmils but my parents don't think it's a necessity but I do. I'm also only 4'11 almostt 5'0. I do eat somewhat healthy but lots of sugary things witch I am doing my best to stop. I may think of dieting but I need suggestion to lose weight. I want to get back in the low 90s or mid 80s. No time limit so any suggestions?
At 5' even and 103 lbs, your BMI is 20.11. Getting below 18.5 would make you underweight, which would happen at 94 lbs or less. I don't think you need to lose weight. Instead, I think you should focus more on toning. Do exercises that target whatever area you find the most flab. I'm not the guy to ask about targeting areas, I tend to do the full circuit at the gym.
At your age, you don't need to worry much about what you eat, as long as you put some effort into working it off. Just focus on portion control. Eat until you are full, and try to avoid eating more than that. Wait before going back for seconds, you may not feel like it after about 15 minutes. Avoid unnecessary snacking. A lot of people eat when they're bored. Learn to realize that and have another vice instead.
It won't take much effort to see a difference. Make yourself a simple exercise routine and watch what and how much you eat.

Is every guys penis small when it isn't hard?
Well, not necessarily. There's an old saying: there are growers, and there are showers. Growers are noticeably smaller when flaccid, and the actual size cannot be determined until an erection is achieved. Mine is like this, laughably small when flaccid but increases over 5 times in length when erect. You'll never see me go streaking.
Showers are at, or close to, their max length when flaccid. These are the guys that will teabag you for fun. In other words, you can't know a guy's real size until he's excited enough to pop.

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Twilight_Hack
In short, no. Twilight will not work with 4.0, nor any other version that will come out after. Apparently, there's a new one called Bannerbomb. Check the link, it knows more than I.

Alright, so I'm buying a new TV, and I was wondering which of the two were better...because I don't know a whole lot about TV's. They're both 42" LCD's, but here are the sites that you can compare them on...
Vizio 42" Class Eco 1080p LCD HDTV, VO420E:
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10993796#ProductDetail
Dynex® - 42" Class / 1080p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV (Model: DX-L42-10A:)
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9144295&type=product&id=1218035133352
Thank you =]
P.S. PLEASE list your reasons for picking one over the other.
These two are virtually the same spec-wise, but the Visio has a MUCH higher contrast ratio. The contrast ratio is basically how many different shades the TV can create from solid white to solid black. Better contrast means sharper, more defined colors.
To be honest, these are two cheap, crap brands that use cheap, crap parts. I have heard nothing positive about Visio TVs, and the only thing I know about Dynex was I had a cable modem they made and it crapped out in about 3 months. I would fully expect these to blow up a day after the warranty expires. Besides, whatever manufacturer's warranty it has probably won't cover whatever breaks down anyway. My suggestion is to save your money and get a slightly more expensive, but much higher quality 42" HDTV. I have an LG and I swear by it. JVC, Philips, and Sharp are also good brands.
I work in a rent to own store and I deliver at least 1 HDTV pretty much every day. I also do all the returns and deal with a lot of service issues, so I know which brands have which problems. My TV can be found here: http://www.youreviewelectronics.com/reviews/lcd-tv-reviews/lg-42lg50-review/
It lists the price at $1100 but I don't know when that article was published. I'm sure it's cheaper now, as mine was $1000 even and I bought it about 8 months ago. It's a bit of a price jump, but 1 LG TV will last longer than 2 Visio or 2 Dynex TVs.
Also, if you do end up buying one of the two you listed, do yourself a favor and get some sort of surround sound or stereo to hook up to it. The speakers on those are incredibly weak. It says they're 10W a piece. The worst surround sounds you can buy are 200W. The one I have is older, cost me $50, and is a 1200W system. In other words, the more watts in the speaker, the louder and better it sounds. Good luck TV hunting, feel free to ask me directly with any other questions related to these TVs.

I think i'm bisexual because I love guys but I always wanted to try a girl especially in sex but like even though I wanna try a girl I don't want my friends to know if I ever do have a girlfriend only one person knows n he's a guy who's like a brother he was joking and said he was gonna hook me up with this BI girl and I gave in but I think I really am what do I do?!!
Right now, you are straight and confused. Bisexuality means you are sexually attracted to both sexes, and you get sexual gratification from both sexes. So far, you only fit half the bill. Once you have sex with a woman, enjoy it, and want it again, you can consider yourself bisexual.
At some point in their life, everyone contends with homosexual feelings in some degree. One of three things occurs afterward: they either choose to act on it, choose not to act on it, or wrestle with the idea eternally. The only way to determine your sexuality is to act on it.

what realm do you choose in WoW?
do you choose the one that has the green writing beside it??
The green writing is what the game wants you to choose, because it's a low population realm. For them, it means less server clogging. For you, it means less condensed populations in popular areas, meaning less lag. However, it also means more difficulty finding a group and a smaller selection on the auction house, which may mean increased prices.
Generally, people join the game because they already have friends playing. If you know anyone who plays, join the same server and same faction as them and you can play together.
Failing that, join a realm that suits your playing style. Normal is the preferred style. There is no player vs. player action without consent, except in certain areas. PvP is the opposite, where people can attack members of the other faction at damn near any time, any place. RP is roleplaying, a normal realm where the players are expected to assume their character's personality at any given time, which I think is dumb but a lot of people get into it. RPPvP is a PvP realm where people are expected to role play. Expect lots of thees and thous and putting a lot of emotes between asterisks like this. *ends his advice and wanders off into the sunset*

so every year for a trip i make a new pillow case.
i take a white pillow case and draw on it with sharpie, they come out really cool. i put all these love quotes on it with my name in the middle last year. and the year before that, i put song lyrics on it.
any ideas?!
Totally not my thing, but I'm bored.
Your next design should tell a story, whether it be one you make up, or a personal story. Potentially, you could make one detailed enough that anyone who didn't know you could take a look at this pillow and suddenly know a lot about you. Spice it up with designs so you're not just writing words on a pillow. Illustrations to go along with key elements, things that are important to you, and what have you. It may seem childish, but then again...you're drawing on a pillow. So there's that.
Enjoy your quest for personal fulfillment.

I'm planning on going to the University of Michigan, after my senior year this coming up year. So, I'm in the Class of 2010.
I just got my AP Calc score back today, and I got a 5, which I'm really happy about. I've done the research, and it looks like I'm getting 2 credit hours for getting a 5, at least in the college I'm planning on going into.
Here's my question, though. I'm wondering, on average, how many credit hours each year of undergrad is about? Because if I get at least a 4 on the AP tests I'm doing next year [Biology, Chemistry, English, and Statistics], I can potentially graduate high school with 21 credits, so I want to know how much of my freshmen year would already be over before it even starts.
Thank so much. If you were confused by that, say so in your answer, and I'll shoot you an inbox question that hopefully explains myself better.
17/m, if that helps in any way?
Thanks you! =]
Well, it differs from place to place, but from where I went, it was 120 hours to graduate, down from 126 previously. 30 hours made you a sophomore, 60 a junior, and 90 a senior, as far as titles and paperwork go.
By that math, 21 hours is the majority of your freshman year. Also, 13 hours a semester would get you to graduation on schedule, obviously giving you a somewhat relaxed ride compared to some. However, this was just my university, and it was private. I couldn't tell you the average for state colleges. Figure out the total amount of hours required to graduate. Obviously you need to fill them with certain requirements for your major, but the amount of hours needed just for the major always falls short of the total required, leaving room for electives, extracurriculars, etc etc.
Also, AP Statistics? All I can say is...study. I went to state level math competitions back in grade school, but I failed college stats. There's no shortcut in that class. Believe me, I searched for it.
