I need a new anime series to watch..... Have any good ones? Excluding Cardcaptors, Death Note, Sailormoon, Pokemon......, Mew Mew Power, Bleach, Naruto, Chobits, Ghost Hunt, DNAngel and Fruitsbasket...

The finest anime I have ever seen, of the few I have watched, is Trigun. It's got comedy, drama, and character development. My girlfriend isn't an anime fan by any means, but she loved Trigun. She's also a big fan of Fullmetal Alchemist, which I hear is currently being remade. I suggest these two, but if you'd like a little more action, I'd also go for Yu Yu Hakusho. It's a fighting anime, but with a good focus on storyline, making it much less childish than say, Dragonball Z.
