Ok, first things first. I am NOT an exerciser, but I want to get more fit. I am 5 9, and I weigh 218 lbs. Yesterday I had my first "official" work out, which was stretching, 2 stair laps,some strenghtning exercises, 2 sprints, walking, jogging, more strecthing and dancing. It took about an hour and a half to do all of that (and it was precisely in that order). Was that starting out too big? Or should i tone it down a bit? Thanks! Sorry if it's in the wrong category.
The important thing is that you stick to what you decide to do. That being said, you probably won't stick to something that lasts that long. Try just taking up an hour; cut something out. Also, make sure you enjoy your workout.

1. I have no idea why they call it a "dick" anymore than I know why they call it a "vagina".
2. Lesbians are attracted to female bodies, not female tendancies. The same goes for gays; they don't necessairaily want the butch behaviors of a guy. They just want the male body parts. Physical attraction has nothing to do with personality.
3. It's not that your parents don't want you to know about sex, they just don't want you to think you should have sex with everyone on your block. It's important you have the ability to make informed decisions. Becides, your parents aren't the only ones who count. There are kids in your school who grew up hearing (and even expieriencing) this stuff and would probably have benifited from hearing it even sooner at school, because at school it's taught in an educational and informative manner. It's important for everyone's needs to be taken into account.

okay well for some reason my hands can get really cold even when its like sweating hot outside. And it can get really annoying sometimes especially when i hold hands with someone then i get a little embaressed because of my cold hands. It used to be the opposite my hands used to get all sweaty but now its the total opposite

I'm 20, and my friend is 19. We're both girls.
I live in a house with a bunch of other university students. I'm sharing a room with my fiancee, S, whose best friend G also lived in the house, until recently.
G is an officer in the reserves (as is S), and decided to put his studies on hiatus for a year and a half to go and work in Afghanistan. Enter A, my friend.
G just proposed to A this summer, because he knew he'd be gone for a long time. She's living in the same house with us. She actually managed to convince S not to go with G to Afghanistan, for which I am incredibly grateful.
Since G left for his training, A has been incredibly depressed. She won't leave her room, she barely eats, and she's always crying. We were watching the news the other day, and there was a report on a suicide bomber killing a Canadian soldier, and she burst into tears and was inconsolable all day.
I'm starting to get really worried. G has only been gone for a month, and he has 17 months left to go!
Is there anything I can do to help her? I'm already putting a limit on how cuddly and couply my fiancee and I are in front of her, and we try to feed her when we can (we're students on a budget)
I would really appreciate advice from someone who has been in a situation where a loved one is overseas with the military!
I have never been in this situation, but I know what it's like to worry about someone's well-being who you are unable to see. It sounds to me like you are already doing the best for your friend that you possibly can. Just make sure she knows she can talk to you when she needs to and keep being supportive. Good luck.

Okay, so there are some girls at my school who send naked pictures of themselves to guys. And they hang all over guys (even guys who are taken) and talk dirty and stuff. So I've always been told that guys don't really like girls like that. But I've heard guys saying that these girls are hot. And one of my guy friends wants me to set him up with one of those girls. So I'm confused. Do guys like girls like that, or not? (I guess girls can answer, but I'd really like to hear from some guys too).

My abusive ex-boyfriend loved my long hair, when I finally worked it up to call things quits, I cut six inches off my hair :) Its cute, but totally hard to manage. Its sits right on my shoulders and it has to be straight to be cute. (Natural hair is curly, its too short for that)

This girl is throwing everything she can at your guy's face. Chances are he does still want to be with you, but he probably is at least flattered by this new girl. Just wait and see how things turn out. Talk to him about it when you are concerned, but try not to let it bother you too much. The two of you shouldn't be fighting over a guy. He will either go back out with you or go for her. It's his choice and regardless of who he picks, he liked you and thought you were a good girlfriend. If he didn't, he wouldn't be assuring you that he's staying with you. So just wait it out. His decision will depend on if he feels he needs a change or not, it won't have anything to do with you. There's nothing you can do except wait and see.

Um... I keep being told to go to the gynos by some of my friends. I'm 18 and in college and I don't feel like I can tell my parents because they think I'll just end up having sex with people. Is there a way that I can go to the gynos without my parents finding out? I know that they send bills home and if they find one about me and the gynos they'll know I went. It's normal for your period to be irregular if it's one of your first times getting it, but if you've had it for a couple of years, I'd reccomend talking to a doctor.

I have a wart on my toe and it wont go away.. I also have a wart down there... BUT it's nothing like the genital warts you see! I've never had sex!... I was molested once but the guy didn't go to far... Is it a real genital wart even if I never had sex? And it's on the outside, about 3/4 of an inch away. Is it anything I should worry about?

Hey, I'm a fourteen year old girl. I told the boy I liked, that I er.. liked him, and he replied quite nicely saying that he wasn't looking for a girlfriend, and I understand completely that that was just a way of brushing me off, he wasn't interested etc etc.. I'm kind of in that time period where I am seeing who my real friends are. Look, here's the thing:
In 7th grade, my BEST FRIEND since elementary school backstabbed me by turning everyone against me and trying to steal my boyfriend of a year. Yes, I know we were in middle school. Well, she made me lose plenty of friends I had and my boyfriend who I broke up with, who she ended up dating for a week until he dumped her. In 8th grade, she didnt end up going to my school so it was really easy not to talk to her, and we didnt speak for a year. However, in the summer of 9th grade, I found out she got into the scholars acadamy like me and is going to my high school, and I knew we were going to have classes together. So, I was the bigger person and emailed her basically telling her I didnt want to start of the year with all this hatred that I was over with, and she emailed me back FINALLY apologizing and it seemed sincere. Well, we ended up having 5 out of 8 classes together and are becoming closer. Thing is, I just feel weird sometimes knowing what she did to me. Im best friends with my ex boyfriend who was the reason she did all that stuff to me in the first place, and now that shes at my high school, she became good friends with US. AND, she confessed to me that she still likes him. I honestly dont know what to think. Did she use me to get to him again? Will she do what she did to me all for him? ALSO
When it comes to group projects, she always wants to be my partner! I dont want to feel bound to her. I have other friends that I want to be with, and I'm sure if I told her she'd understand but may get offended. I just feel the only reason she wants to be with me, is to get closer to my ex, who I'm always with. I dont know what to think. :/

It's nice that the two of you have re-connected. I also don't think she's hanging around you just to steal your ex away from you. She is being honest with you about her feelings for him, so you should return the favour. Tell her you are worried that she will steal him from you again like she did before. I am 14 years old [female]... I am a freshman in high school. I am having many friendship problems. I am loosing friends because of my rude attitude towards everyone. & The bad thing is, I've been so mean forever, that I haven't even noticed I am until today when I lost a friend.

It's good that you have some remorse, but this new attitude can't be faked. You can't change who you are to change your reputation. I'd say that the best thing you could is to talk to the friend that you've lost and apologize. Tell her everything you said here. Just be honest about your remorse, and people will already think differently about you.
