3 years ago financially I was doing great.I had my own apartment and I my place of work was only a couple blocks away to which I walked to everyday.I didn't drive because of a DUI, but I never got my license because I lived in a location that was very convenient for me.
I had saved up a few thousand dollars and I decided to try something different.I was financially ok at the time, but I really wasn't happy.I discovered the financial market, but I couldn't learn it and work 72hrs a week.I left my job of 5 yrs.I lost everything I had saved up during the financial collapse because I wasn't ready for those economic conditions.
I eventually lost my apartment because I couldn't find a job because of the recession and everyone was laying off when I needed a job.I had to move back in with my parents.They live in the middle of nowhere and I don't have a car to get a job in the first place.
On top of everything that has happened I have something wrong with my eyes that I believe might be permanent.I'm seeing a specialist this week.I can barely read and can't see anything at a distance because I have a cloud in the center of my vision.I on the computer screen whole letters of a word are missing and if I watch tv the whole face is gone. If my eyes can't be fixed I might just file for disability and try to work with currencies to establish a capital to trade futures.I don't know if I can drive even if I get my license.
My dad has been really hard on me about everything that has happened.I spent so long working in a factory like my dad wanted for me that I just wasn't happy for myself.Now, even if I could get my eyes fixed I will end up in a factory like my parents want for me.
I want to trade futures in the financial market.That's my passion and what I want to do with my life.If I even mention the financial market to my parents they yell at me.They always put me down.They didn't care for my education growing up and now that I'm in this mess they blame me as well.I just want to be happy.I'm really at the end of my rope.I don't even know where to start.I REALLY need an outside look.PLEASE HELP!

consider this- you're currently under their roof right now. the first step to getting your shit together for this new career path is to get a job. any job that you are capable of doing. don't tell me you can't somehow get a ride, anything is possible, including getting a bicycle and riding ten miles to work every day. try to save up enough cash to move out of their house. every job has a supervisor, so even if you're working at mcdonald's or some shit like that, there's always a higher-paying job in the company that is within your reach. get promoted, continue saving your money, and start going to night school at the local community college or something. not only will this give you the skills you need to succeed, but it will also potentially get you some contacts within the system. once you get some cronies, they can help you get in.
the world is a simple place, its about three things- who you know, what you want to accomplish, and how hard you are willing to work to accomplish your goals.

I am naturally a submissive person. I take up for myself but right now i'm in a relationship where everything is backwards.

so i go to the gym and do my hair and make up

My advice depends on your husband's personality. if he's got any tendency towards violence, never tell him. if he's really chill, and would forgive you, you should tell him before he gets home. Could a huge protests at UN Headquarters allow the UN to make sure Cameroon has a fair election in 2011?
Cause Paul Biya is a dictator who has been ruling since the 1980s. He rigs the elections to make himself win, and will do it again unless there is intervention to make the polling fair. If more publicity is drawn to this issue, do you think the UN could become more involved in it?
Otherwise, what can I do? I'm a 16 year old girl in America, and my family is Cameroonian and it really pisses me off that they have such a corrupt government because most of the people don't like Paul Biya and if the election was fair, he would not win. I just want to do something, you know? I know it won't be easy at all, but I really want Cameroon to progress to becoming a better nation, have a better health care system, etc.
Paul Biya hasn't helped Cameroon at all. Fru Ndi isn't much better, so I support Kah Wallah. Paul Biya and wife waste millions of Cameroonian dollars on trips abroad, staying at fancy hotels while that money could have been used for so many things in Cameroon. People get away with shady, backyard deals and what not.
I want the Cameroonians to take a stand for what they believe in, like how the British colonies fought against the British to get what they wanted, and etc. But how can you rally up an entire country? Or people in other places in America and around the world to get Cameroon to host fair elections? I know the American government won't take any interest since they can't really gain anything in Cameroon like they can in the middle east, but hopefully the UN could.
well kid, getting the UN involved is not going to fix the election. I just took part in the afghan election.. and all of the UN officials overseeing that charade were corrupt as hell. Keeping an election in a developing country honest is a lot harder than it looks. besides, the UN is the most corrupt organization on the planet. for evidence, I cite the UN responses to the rwandan and darfur genocides. I'm sure there's a solution to the problem, and that there will be nonprofit watchdog groups helping keep the election semi-honest.. finding one of them and helping them by donating and getting others to donate to their cause may be your best bet.

Okay so I have had two incidents were I wanted God to make me be sure he was there. Once when I was about 9 and once just now. The first time I asked God, I asked if He would make the phone ring at a certain time. It rang a few seconds after the clock changed. Then I asked for me to get a text mesage or a call at 7:07 and I was still praying at 7:07 then I stoped praying and it was 7:08 and as soon as it turned to 7:08 I got a text. I thought it may have been a cowincidence so I Asked at 7:19 for me to get a sigh. My bathroom scale is always 5 pounds under what the scale at the doctor's office shows I weigh. I'd prefer if my bathroom scale were more accurate, but is it really?

Well I want to enlist in the National Guard; however, I would like to fist go to college(perhaps a paramedic or flight school). How do I go about this? Would I enlist in the Guard first then enroll in college? Or vise versa? And will the Guard help pay my tuition? -- I inderstand I can do these two things at once I just don't know what steps to take to get where I want to be.

when I went to basic back in 2005, we had a huge amount of national guard guys pushed through with us. of them, about a quarter were college dudes. most of them had already completed their first year of college, then spent the summer between freshman and sophmore year in basic. its an interesting program, but holy shit it was retarded dealing with all of the high schoolers that came through with them. I don't know the time period set for you guys, but active duty gets 100% GI bill/ tuition repayment at three years time in service. I'd imagine its similar for the national guard. have fun with the hand-me-down equipment.
