How can you tell a guy you have your period. Lets say they started touching you, wanting to hook up ..how do you basically tell them no because you have your period without grossing or freaking them out even though they shouldn't be in the first place or even without making it awkward.
If he's capable of having sex, he shouldn't be grossed out/freaked out about a girl getting her period. It's natural, and if he's not mature enough to understand that, then he shouldn't be having sex. [ leLovely's advice column | Ask leLovely A Question ]

So next time, I'm going to take one for the team & just tell him I have my period & i don't want to. Because it's really lame accidentally making him think you don't want to go any further! woops :)
Take it to the shower if you really don't want to bring it up! lol. just say you want to take a shower with him & maybe he wont even know.... [ breeeezy's advice column | Ask breeeezy A Question ]

You shouldn't feel embarassed or awkward if you are very close to the guy you are planning to have intercourse with. But if the guy is just a hook up just gently push him away and say "I can't...not this week anyways.." He should get the hint then.
Best of luck.

If being touched or if having intercourse during your period is uncomfortable then tell your guy that this is not a good time and next weekend would be better. This tells him your open to his desire but not today.
I love making love to my wife when she is having her period and she also enjoys it. Her breasts are more sensitive, her clit is more sensitive and yes it can be a little messy.
If your like my wife then tell your guy that your having your period and he needs to be more gentle and guide him. If you don't want the messy clean up after let him play with your nipples and clit to get you off and then you get him of either orally or by masturbating him.
Just because you are having your period does not mean you have to put your sex life on hold for a week. It all depends on you and how you feel. If you are feeling all cramped up and bloated then of course having sex is probably the last thing you want, although my wife found that sex helped with the cramps; this worked for her it may not work for you.
My thoughts towards sex are simple: Anything that happens between two consenting adults that does not harm each other is not kinky and is no one business then theirs. So if you think you may enjoy sex at some point during your period and your BF is willing, go ahead. As I said my wife and I do enjoy sex during her period, maybe not on the first day but the rest of the time, well.... what can I say. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]
hitler_the_goat answered Friday December 10 2010, 7:57 am: if its a dude like me, he'd still be down. the dude's reaction will definitely tell you his level of emotional maturity, and if he doesn't like it, he's a naive jackass thats going to have 1 horrible week a month for the rest of his active sex life. there's a saying that I usually stick by- "you can swim in the red river, but never drink". I've gotten drunk and done it anyways, but I can't figure out whether it was from complete indifference or from my affinity for the taste of blood. either way, if a chick tells me she's bleeding, I usually respond with "okay, so, you still down?"
have fun

curiousfox answered Friday December 10 2010, 12:09 am: You can either be blunt about it and tell them you're on your period. A guy that gets grossed out or freaked out over something like that is immature and probably not someone you should want to hookup with anyway.
Or, try a more subtle approach. Now, guys aren't going to be able to read your mind; however, a few simple words and they'll get it. Mention that it's "that time of the month." More than likely he'll take the hint.
If you really want to hookup with them, you might want to throw some reassurance in there aswell. Tell him you'd really love to hookup but it's not a good time.. then that you'd love if you could make it up in a few days or something.
If you don't actually want to hookup with him, then just say so. [ curiousfox's advice column | Ask curiousfox A Question ]
