Hey everybody. I've love giving advice so I'll answer every question I can. If you need any advice on anything, just ask me! A little about me- I play tennis and I love to shop and hang out at my pool with friends. I'll be a sophomore in high school this year so I've had plenty of experience on friendship and relationships. I always try to take my time and answer every question thoughtfully. I don't care about ratings or any of that, I just want to help people out. :-)

my little sister is OBSESSED with jamie lynn spears and her show zoey 101. she's watched every episode like 10 times and she even wears clothes almost EXACTLY the same as the ones zoey wears! she searches for them everywhere! and she always wants to role play them..and i get dragged into it! she wants to be zoey for halloween, but guess what..she's zoey EVERYDAY! this is driving me insane, my parents think it's cute. i thought it was at first, but now it's getting out of hand! please help, her room is covered with zoey 101 & jamie lynn spears. her aim is zoey101lover something and jamie lynn spears is her idol! she's so totally obsessed..it's becoming unbearable! HELP!
I can see why this might be a little annoying but does it really affect you? If she wants to be like Jamie Lynn/Zoey, let her. Eventually she'll grow out of it. And it's a lot better than her trying to be just like you because trust me, that's WAY more annoying.

hey..ok, ya this might be kinda confusing I don’t know.. ok so theres a lot of things that im just confussed. so like, there was this guy i was like obsessed wtih n we did shit n like he just like droped me like a fly, hes a major player n im just starting to get over him. and one day ( when we were freinds, aout like 4 weeks ago) i was tryin to hlep out my best friend with the guy who was callin her all these names, so i was like just messin around with the guy i like n was like hey will you yell at bob ( not really bob but thats the name im using for the kid that was calling my best freind nmes) for me. Because like he always used to make fun of him n shit so i didnt really think it would matter, n he went all nuts n was callin me n immaure bitch n we just started bitchin n fightin n shit n like now he hates me n we havent talked in like 2 months. n like he used to hate my best freind, n he wouild alwuyas like make fun of her to me.. and now he like, likes her. i mean ot like more then a freind but like he\'ll im her n shit n it makes me sooo mad, because its like i was tryin to help her out and it ends up him hating me and wantin to be freinds with her, n i guess he told her not to be freinds wiht me. i know shes not gunna listn to him but still its so fucked up beause like I don’t know n it hurts. n with my best freind she has this other best friend. n i hate her guts, we actually hate eachother.. bc we were freinds n her boyfriend cheated on her with me. so we hate eachother, but my best freind is also best freinds with her, n it sucks so bad.. urgh ihate it so much. n like i dont wannan say n thing because like it makes me so so reatrded n stupid n she can be freidn swith who evber she wants idont know. n its weird limke i dont have like all the luck inthe world with guys, but all of a sudden she is.. n like, im not tryint to be all mean or whatever but.. she really isnt all tht pretty. like shes def not ugly or ne thing but when i look at her i dont see one of those like drop dead pretty girls that all the guys will want, I don’t know maybe im jsut jelouse I don’t know im suposto be happy for her, and i am I don’t know . n ijust set her n this kid up. i want even on plannign on setting them up it just kinda happend.. n they did shit n like im sscared because shes ugnna wanna hanf out with him and not me ne more. Wow. You're right that was a little confusing but I think I got it. Your ex is becoming friends with your best friend, and your best friend is also hanging out with a new guy and her other best friend. I think you're just feeling really insecure right now because it feels like everyone is leaving you behind. First, forget about your ex. You're over him so you shouldn't even think about him anymore. Then you need to have a serious talk with your best friend. You two still hang out a lot so it doesn't seem like your friendship is fading, but you want to stay close with her right? Tell her this. Let her know that she's the only person in your life that you can trust and you want to stay friends forever. For now, don't worry about hooking up with any guys or finding a new boyfriend. Maybe the best thing for you is to make some new friends, or try and become closer with your other friends so that you can feel like you fit in. Next time you and your best friend are hanging out, invite a couple of your other friends over too. It's easier to invite people over when you're already with someone else. About your best friend's other friend, why is that you hate each other? Is it just because her bf cheated on her with you? If so, maybe you need to apologize to her because she would be a great person to be friends with. Then all three of you could hang out. I know this is a tough time in your life, but hang in there and focus on being a positive person. Smile and be friendly whenever you meet new people. ok i have a really big problem. i wear a training bra and any tank tops, short sleeve shirts, or really light fabriced shirts i wear, my bra shows ALOT. and also the even bigger problem is on tank tops, my bra has a higher up arm hole so you can like see the bra alot on the arms. this has stopped me from buying new clothes, and i always try to look for the clothes that cover me up the most!! im so mad cauuse I just want to be confident and free about myself and not worry about this! its all i think about. yes, dont say ask my mom cause she always asks "well why are you being so mad, whats the problem" whenever i pass the opportunity to buy a perfectly nice shirt!its cause im too embarresed to tell her about it. the only reason i have a bra is cause my mom bought me 2 old navy ones like a long time ago and they like hardly fit me.please dont make fun of me, i really want to feel good about myself and not have me bra practically in full view. HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS ANNOING PROBLEM??????
Oh wow, I'm sorry you are so worried about this! But don't stress so much, it's just a bra. I think you definitely need some new bras. Try some different styles that give you coverage in certain areas. Maybe you should get more than one kind so that whatever shirt you're wearing, you have a bra for it that won't show. Try Victoria's Secret, American Eagle or Marshall Field's. Hope this helps!!

well, heres the thing, all of my friends have babysitting jobs, but i dont. i really want one, but i m too shy to ask ppl. i have tryed putting signs in the door, but that didnt work. i m a shy person. does anyone have any ideas for what i should do/say to get a job!?
Tell all your friends that you are really interested in babysitting. Let them know that if they ever get a job offer that they can't do, (they already have something else planned) you would love to cover for them! If you do get a job this way thank your friend and the people you are babysitting for, and let them know that you won't let them down. If the kids like you, maybe they'll ask for you again. Just make sure you don't take over your friend's job!

I'm going to be a freshman this year when highschool starts and I was wondering if I could get help with a "new look", and I mean everything! I dress kind of preppy, but also sporty at the same time. I would like a more rocker//bohemian//preppy look all mixed in one. Is this possible? Everything from what(if) I should put something in my hair, all the way down to the shoes! ((no spandex or cowboy boots please!)) I'd also like a new look, I wear eyeliner and mascara everyday, any updates? Any good brand of eyeliner that doesnt smudge, wonderful foundation for beige skin, a "flirty" pink blush, and waterproof mascara would be awesome! If anyone could give me advice on a good first day of school outfit, that would be fantastic! Any websites, and stores that arent majorly exspensive. (I shop at AE, Hollister, & PacSun, so anything around that price range or cheaper!) Thanks so much to anyone who could give me good advice! I'll rate fives for anyone who can give me great advice. First off, congrats on entering high school! Welcome to the most fun years of your life! I can see why you would want a new look, this is a big change in your life. How you change your look is completely up to you. If you really want a change, maybe you should start shopping at some different stores. Sounds like you're going for somewhat of a vintage look, so check out some vintage shops in your area. Definitely check out Urban Outfitters too, they have just the look you're going for, and they aren't too pricey. As for makeup, just experiment with some different looks. For a smudge proof eyeliner, you might want to check out the department store kind rather than the stuff you get at the drugstore. (It's more expensive but worth it!) For a foundation try Loreal or Covergirl because they have tons of shades. For the pink blush and mascara, just shop around. Maybelline has great makeup so check that out too. For a first day look, try a cute tank top and matching skirt that's flowy but not too long. Pair it with some cute flats. I really hope I helped! If you have any more questions, please ask!!

ok so last summer i got a haircut rite? it came out HORRIBLE, too WAY TOO short! i was so embaressed. so i went to a professional place and it got even worse. i was ALWAYS getting made fun of and i hated it. well the past school year i whore my hair up every single day! now i want my hair to grow really long but since the last haircut i got was a year ago, i dont think my hair will grow. i dont want to "get a trim" cause i want it to grow! should i just snip a tiny bit of hair off myself? please help!
OMG i know exactly how you feel! I got my haircut about 2 months ago and I absolutely hate it. Hair grows faster in the summer, so just keep wearing it up for now and before you know it, it'll be a lot longer. Since it's been a year since you got it cut, I'm sure its gotten longer by now. Hopefully by the end of summer you should have the length you want, then you can see a stylist (get a good one, maybe recommended by a friend who's hair you like) to get the style you want. This time, by very specific and tell them you've had some bad experiences with hair lately and you don't want that to happen again. Hope this helped!

ok well 've never been tanning before like in a booth but i'd like to try it but i dont know what to wear can sombody please tell me?
You can wear whatever you want. Most girls wear their bra and underwear, a bikini or you can even go naked if you want. You just go into the room, change/take off clothes and get in the hex/bed (you pick which one you want at the front desk). The person at the counter will set the timer for you and it will automatically go off after the certain number of minutes has passed. If you have any more questions just ask the people that work there. Hope this helps!

Can i ask seriously. When people come on this. Do they answer questions genuinely to help people and hopefully help them through a tough patch or whatever; or do they do it for ratings? It makes me mad when you see a confused person askin a serious question; only for it to be answered by someone. Who at the end makes it obvious(or seemingly) that they don't care byu saying "please rate"Ok i know they jus want acknowledgement and appreciation. But if the person is willing to or want to im sure they will. Why do you ask or say things like this? I really don't know so any answers are appreciated.

Ok..I have reeeally curly hair. I want it to be straight but when I try to straighten it there are 2 problems:
1. It takes me 1 and a half to 2 hours to get it completely straight.
2. My hair only stays straight for a day or overnight..even if I just straightened it.
Are there any easier ways to make my hair straight and make it stay straight for a while?

Well make sure you use straightening/smoothing shampoo and conditioner. Then after you straighten it put on a smoothing serum, like Frizz Ease by John Frieda. Usually when your straighten your hair it will only last a day, even for people who have hair that's already pretty straight. When you sleep on it or wash it that's definitely gonna ruin the straightening. Hope this helps!

Make sure you bring a portable CD player (with headphones), lots of batteries for it and CDs. If you have a cell phone bring that so you can talk to your friends or text message them. Bring a magazine and just look at the pictures and stuff instead of actually reading it. Hope this helps, have fun!

Your BMI (body mass index) is 18.8. 18.5 is underweight so you are almost underweight! You are not fat at all. That is a perfectly healthy weight. Just try not to think about it so much because I'm sure you're a pretty, thin girl!

There is this guy, we are really really good friends. He really likes me and he tells all my friends and asks my friends to ask me if I like him. Well I don't like him more as a friend. and once he started really liking me he became weird and acting different. I know how you feel. This is a really tough situation because you don't want to hurt his feelings but you don't want it to be awkward for you. Whatever you do, don't flirt with him at all because it'll send him the message that you're into him too. If he does ask you out, let him down gently. Tell him that he's a great friend and you don't want to ruin that. If neccesary, just say that you're not interested in more than a friendship. Hope this helps!

Im competely crazy about my boyfriend. No doubt about that. He's absolutly perfect except for one thing... his front four teeth drive me crazy. He could really use a professional whitening. How can I suggest he go to the dentist without hurting my love's feelings?
Buy 2 of those 2 Hour Rembrandt Whitening kits. Tell him you've been wanting to whiten your teeth and ask him if he wants to try it with you. Just pray he says yes! If he does it'll be something you guys can do together.

Whats the difference between a therapist and a physiciatrist? Like an example. And i was wondering what kind of jobs i could have for being like a counsolar.. a professional counsolar. And what i have to major in. Like what do i have to have absolutely good grades in school? Thanks
A therapist is someone you go to to talk about your problems and hopefully work them out. A psychiatrist is someone who deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders. If you want to be a counselor you would probably major in psychology and/or counseling (if there is such a major). A counselor is someone who gives advice about problems, so helping people on this site would be a good start! I don't know what kind of grades you would have to have, but you should always try your best in school no matter what you want to be!

Heyy! I am a 14 year old girl
I have a MAJOR problem... I have a boyfriend of almost 5 months and we are really happy! He was my first kiss...let alone that but we haev madeout and french kissed! which sounds like alot but when you see how happy we are you could see why we have done that! The only problem is our parents dont know and we dont plan to tell them any time soon...both of us arent supposed to have a gf/bf until we are 16 or 17.... we are seriously meant for each other and he says he loves me and i love him...i haev never felt this way!

Why rock the boat? They're going to find out eventually, so just wait until that happens. If you've made it 5 months without them finding out, maybe you can last even longer. When one of your parents does find out though, explain to them that you two are doing nothing wrong and it's perfectly normal for 14 years olds to have boyfriends/girlfriends. (You don't have to tell them about the making out!) However, if you would feel better getting it off your chest, maybe you should tell them now. It would be the mature thing to do, and hopefully your parents would realize that. They'll be less angry if you don't keep it from them. Hope you can decide what to do!
