how can you edit the information you've given about yourself here? like when you change ur screenname on aim or something? and how can you write something "about me" ?? cuz every1 has it , i just don't know how 2 do that???

I downloaded it, fixed my modem for port forwarding and yet it doesn t start downloading even when I am not queued (the only one who wants to download). If it ever starts it slow as hell.
Does it really suck or do I have to do something to fix it?

Make sure you have port 6346 TCP/UDP in/out cleared on both your firewall and router(you don't need to do anything to a modem). You can read http://portforward.com for more info. Most peer-to-peer networks modeled after gnutella(limewire) protocol are very slow. This includes shareaza's native protocol, Gnutella2 and the other protocols it supports. You'll have much, much faster speeds with bittorrent:

Are pixie sticks good physically to your body?

Dextrose is another name for sugar. So yes, it is pure sugar. It's probably just as bad for you as any other candy.

i swear i think myspace is giving me viruses. not the kind that on my page or anything but like trojans. like when i go to someones page i get a billion popups and its soo annoying! is there a program to get rid of trojans or adware/spyware? like a good free one i can download because my comp is already messsing up and i just got it! thanks
You'll get less popups and some extra protection from viruses if you download firefox( http://mozilla.com ). I also recommend Spyware Terminator( http://www.spywareterminator.com ) for a combined antivirus/antispyware.

I have a project to do for social studies class and my partner and I have to survey a few people, over the age of 18. The survey is about the amendments, because right now we are learning about the constitution. We would like to have the opinion of many people and not just specific people we survey, so if you dont mind could you please answer these questions.
Also if you have a job that involves government or if you are majoring in that, could you please state that. If your not over 18 that is fine, because we want the opinion of all who know what they are talking about.
I. The Bill of Rights contains ten amendments to the constitution. Which one do you believe is the most important and why?
II. The original intent of the Second Amendment was to prevent the Nation Government from disarming a militia. Today it is used to justify indivisual gun ownership without government interference. What argument could you make again the Second Amendment (gun ownership) ?
III. How would you interpret Amendments NIne and Ten ?

I think the most important amendment is the 10th, as it clearly says that the power should be with the states, and not with the federal government; this is what the founding fathers originally intended. Of course, this amendment has been ignored.
I can't argue against the second amendment, because people should be allowed to have guns. If the government bans owning guns, then isn't the original intention of the amendment gone? The people won't be able to form a militia if there aren't any guns. Note they didn't say "army", they said "militia". There was an army at the time of the bill of rights, but they saw there was a need for a "militia" of the people.
Amendment 9 says that the bill of rights supersedes the original constituion. Amendment 10 gives state governments greater power than the federal government.

i have a bunch of those little square icons that have sayings or pictures in them on my myspace. but i can only get them to go straight down in a row. i have seen some profiles where they are all bunched together, and like side by side. like theres 4 in one row and then right below theres like 4 more and it just keeps repeating. if anyone knows any special codes to put to make that work, i would really appreciate it! thanks :)

An infinite number, since the words can be of infinite length. If you wanted to limit the length of the words, the formula would be 26^(limit+1). So if you wanted words up to 5 letters in length, you could create 308915776 words. Of course, this would allow for words like cccccc, which is unpronounceable. It would take a complex formula and extensive knowledge of linguistics to compile a list of pronounceable words.

Hey u answered my question earlier but my computer still isnt workig k i tred the explorer and my comp says its corrupted so i still dont have it back and i tried the system restore and it didnt do anything for my computer and i dont know how to get to the digostic and when i did safe mode my comp froze. Put your windows install disk into the computer. Go to task manager, then file, then new task. Type:
sfc /scannow
It should fix itself. If not, go to task manager, new task. Type:
msconfig
Click the "diagnostic startup" radio button, and click ok. If this fixes it, ask me another personal question so you can use all your programs. If that doesn't work, try safe mode again, but remember that at the point where a bunch of text scrolls down the screen, it can take up to 20 minutes to load. A dumb thing happened. I was getting up from dinner last night and I smacked my knee on the kitchen table leg [its hardwood]. It stung for a few seconds and went away. An hour or so later, it was really painful to bare too much weight on it or bend it. I went to bed with it hurting. When I got up for school, whenever I bent it or went up/down stairs, it really hurt. It still hurts now. Through school it's been a bit of a pest. Basically the pain is coming from bending/moving around weird. If I sit or stand for a long amount of time, its barely there. I thought it was just a bruise, but it feels like a rubber band snapping or something of that sort. Any ideas on what this might be? Is it necessary to go to the doctor?

Make sure you have set up port forwarding for your firewall and router( http://portforward.com ). Even if you haven't installed a firewall, windows firewall is automatically on(and it turns itself on if you disable one you did install).
Make sure you are connected to the network(file>connect)

The actual code behind the layout is CSS. It's not really that complex. Learn HTML and CSS at http://w3schools.com . Then the only other thing(that isn't readily available) you need to know is the Document Object Model for controlling myspace. Here is how you make "extended network", and some other stuff, invisible:

There is something terribly wrong with my computer and i can't firgure out how to get it back to normal. I HAVE NO START AND ICONS! When i restart my computer all i have is a desktop background nothing is there!!!!! Someone please help me firgure this out! The way I get to programs is through the task maneger. Don't format your hard drive. LagunaBabe is completely wrong. Go to task manager, then file>new task, then type "explorer", without quotes. This should either give you your desktop back, or give you an error with more information.
This usually happens when an important file is corrupted. I'd try these things if "explorer" doesn't work. You can contact me for more info, or search the web:
