A dumb thing happened. I was getting up from dinner last night and I smacked my knee on the kitchen table leg [its hardwood]. It stung for a few seconds and went away. An hour or so later, it was really painful to bare too much weight on it or bend it. I went to bed with it hurting. When I got up for school, whenever I bent it or went up/down stairs, it really hurt. It still hurts now. Through school it's been a bit of a pest. Basically the pain is coming from bending/moving around weird. If I sit or stand for a long amount of time, its barely there. I thought it was just a bruise, but it feels like a rubber band snapping or something of that sort. Any ideas on what this might be? Is it necessary to go to the doctor?
KellyHappy answered Thursday April 12 2007, 4:37 pm: you might have either pulled/ torn and ligament or a tendon, probably not because you just hit it on a table but you should see a doctor just incase. [ KellyHappy's advice column | Ask KellyHappy A Question ]
