I downloaded it, fixed my modem for port forwarding and yet it doesn t start downloading even when I am not queued (the only one who wants to download). If it ever starts it slow as hell.
Does it really suck or do I have to do something to fix it?
Thanks in advanced.
theymos answered Friday April 13 2007, 4:46 pm: Make sure you have port 6346 TCP/UDP in/out cleared on both your firewall and router(you don't need to do anything to a modem). You can read [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) for more info. Most peer-to-peer networks modeled after gnutella(limewire) protocol are very slow. This includes shareaza's native protocol, Gnutella2 and the other protocols it supports. You'll have much, much faster speeds with bittorrent: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Shareaza can handle bittorrent, but it is slower with it than other applications mentioned in my guide. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
