Q: does anyone know any great places to get really cute jeans for school that are less than $20??? cuz i'm running out of $$ cuz i've been spending it on other clothes and jeans totally slipped my mind.

TJ Maxx or Marshalls.You can get the most comfortable A&F jeans there.They aren't less than $20 though.Just $5 more.Sorry.They also have lots more there though too that are less than $20.A&F jeans are just my favorite.

Q: the only way i can get a cell phone is if i pay for it, and i was just wondering how many ppl felt that it would be worth it?

My mom says the same thing.Yeah,granted I don't drive so I don't have an actual emergency or anything.So if you do have your own car or something it would definately be a need.If you just want to chat with your friends and be one of those loud and annoying people on their cell phones that I want to murder no.It's not worth the money.You can run up your parents phone bill for that.

Q: I usually buy my makeup from somewhere like Target, or the drug store or whatever...well...I wanna get some nice expensive makeup that will last and be realllllyyy good...does anyone have some advice on good makeup to get from a deparment store that is not too expensive.

As I have said before Sephora is by far the best.Nordstrom's comes in a close second though.

Most definately blue.It will bring out the color in your eyes.And depending on how much time you were in the sun this summer.Not alot wear a black top.Alot wear a white top.Good luck with your first day at school!

Q: Hey everyone! Ok, I where dark brown NYC eyeliner and everyday I go to school it BLEEDS! So I have to constantly check in the bathroom so I don't look like an idiot. What do you suggest to put on or whatever to stop it from bleeding or smudging? Or is there another type of eyeliner you suggest? What kind, mechanical or pencil?

You cannot go cheap when it comes to eyelier.It's too important.You also might want to invest in a little compact to put in your purse,pocket, backpack,et cetera.Just so you wont have to constantly use the mirror in the bathroom.Also always keep a few Q-tips with you,you never know when they'll come in handy.Go to Sephora.com to see where you have a Sephora near you.When and if you find one in your area go there.They have all the best makeup there.It's a girl's dream come true.I use Black Lava by Two Faced.I find it to be the best.It's liquid eyeliner in pencil form.Which you can find at Sephora or Nordstrom's.

Q: I have really pretty green eyes! and their small and i have long eyelashes. A lot of ppl tell me i have to prettiest eyes. Does anyone know what color eyeshadow to wear or specific type of mascara?

I really wish I did have green eyes.But ufortunately I don't.For eyeshadow try colors like brown,dark gray,or silver.Also you want colors that will make your eyes look bigger,not smaller.Just try on different colors that you really like.Now for mascara I recommend Clinique.Any Clinique mascara you will love I personally prefer Naturally Glossy and High Impact.And don't be afraid of colored mascara ...it's the best!

Q: hey! im trying to decide between pants and a skirt to wear to the first day of school. which should i wear, and what can i put them with to make a good outfit? thanx

It depends on what look your going for.And of course what the weather's like.So if your going more for casual jeans and a nice t-shirt would be fine. If your going for the look how much I spent in the sun and how much skin damage I got (yes, skin cancer does run in my family and I blame my paleness on that.)look a jean or light cotton skirt would work. And if you start school after Labor Day go for a white skirt.White after Labor Day muwahahaha muwahahaha.Nah, I'm just messing with you.Try some different clothes on from your closet and just pair them up with stuff that you never have before.

i recently figured out that my papa(uncle) has cancer and i am extremely close to him i live with him, and he was supposed to be fine until he had surgey and they found cancer in his liver stomach esophagus. and i just can't seem to get over it and i feel HORRIBLE i havent gone to school in 2 weeks(my parents dont know) and i act like im leaving for school they go to work and i just go back inside. In October my grandmother was diagonosed with lukemia.She went through trechorus months of chemo and is now in remission.I thank God for that everyday.All I can say to you though is spend as much time with him as you can.Make everyday for him the greatest knowing he might not be there tomorrow.And pray for him.Go to wearyellow.com to get a yellow wristband to show your support for people living with cancer.As for not going to school...you will have to tell your parents.After you let them know maybe they can explain your situation and you can work something out with the school.

Q: whenever i sing or act in a large group of ppl i dont, i get so scared i wanna cry. how do i get over being scared?

I used to be just like that.My audition for like my first "real" play in school I was so nervous I actually DID cry.Not loud enough that everyone knew but it was sill pretty bad.Turns out I got the part.And it was that year that I decided that I wanted to be an actress.And so the point to my little story is you just have practice and do it a lot after you get used to it you may eventually like it.If that doesn't work then I advise you never to go into public speaking or being a preformer as a career.So just be confident and comfortable on stage...or where ever.

Q: how do you learn to do new hair styles? any ideas for websites or anything?

You have to expirement.Have a few hours with your hair and just have fun and be creative.Also look through magazines such as Cosmogirl...YM...Seventeen...and sometimes Ellegirl.Ummm....look for models in advertisements and magazines that you like and try to bounce ideas off them or try to copy them.

Q: whats a good style of sneakers or brand or specific sneaker that i can wear to go back to school that not everyone will have but still come off as really cute.

Okay Converse is definately my favorite but I can guarantee you won't be the only one in your school with them.I love the new Puma's.The black one's with the stripe.And if you have $70.00,I can live my shoe dream through you.And Vans are always great.You can now design your own slip-on's online.Look around next time you are shoe shopping.Try on pairs of sneakers that you love and feel comfortable in.

Q: School is starting soon and that means yearbook pictures! im so nervous mine is gonna look bad...is there any way to like practice to make sure u look good or what?

Ahhh...... the dreaded picture day.I'll be honest with you.I am not photogenic.But surprisingly enough my last year's picture didn't turn out too bad.Don't practice in front of the mirror though.To much wasted time.And you'll just look fake. So just smile naturaly when you are siting in the "picture chair".As for hair, make up, and outfit.(I am assuming you are a girl.)Hair-Don't pull it up! 99% of girls that wear their hair up look odd in their pictues.(It's a known fact.)Make up-Don't over do it.Meaning you don't have to look like a Las Vegas show girl just because it's picture day.Outfit-Solid colorered tops usually work the best.Little pictures of things or words on your shirt is not becoming.Because it is normally cut off.And remeber not to clash with your background!

Ok I'm not sure if your first question was rhetorical or not but no,waiting 'till marraige to have sex is not a bad thing.I applaude you for remaining abstinent but it doesn't seem as if your boyfriend does too.Remind him of your morals and if he doesn't respect them maybe you two aren't right for each other.

Q: what kind of facial cleansing product do you think a person with minimal zits that wont go away, and oily skin should use to clear it up before school starts? please helpp i give 5's no matter what!!!

When you are out to buy new face wash look...they make certain types for oily skin.I use Proactive and I love it.I guess it's just different for different types of people.The best invention yet though that I have found for oily skin is Oil Absorbing Sheets.Clean and Clear makes some they get rid of oil on our face with just a few wipes.Other brands make them but I find these to be the best.

Q: MY ankles are sorta big and have muscle around them i guess cause they can be skinnier...and then it just keeps getting bigger and then my calves are HUGE..and i hate it, any advice? lol all i want is a thinner lower leg i guess.

I have the same problem.I am a dancer so it is inevitable though.Genitics play a huge role too.All I can say though is learn to love your big calves because depending on the activities you do to get the muscles on your legs,they aren't going to get any smaller.I've also learned to steer away from shoes that make my calves look like giant watermelons.

Q: I am the tallest girl(13) in our grade... and i feel like no guys wanna go out with me because im taller then them i dunno what to do i am afraid to ask guys out because of rejection and i sometimes feel akward in school what should i do?

I know how you feel.I'm one of the tallest girls in my grade too.Granted I'm only 5'8.But I have a boyfriend of about a month and a half and he's not my height.So I know there are guys out there that aren't phased if a girl is taller than them. If a guy doesn't want to ask you out because of your height then he isn't worth it.And eventually the guys in your grade will grow taller.And if height really matters to you that much start scoping out the basketball team.

Q: Hey Guys! Well I just moved into a new house and I have painted my room pink! I love the color! Just to give you an idea its the color of peptobismol! (lol.) I'll give you an idea that I want for my room but will probably never do.For like shelves or dressers et cetera...paint it black and then flick the pink paint you used for your walls onto it.Yes, it's more of a fun outdoor project.Trust me splatter painting is one of the funnest things to do.I did it to my backpack last year it was awesome.You will have to be really careful on how to bring in different colors into your room.If you don't want just pink and black I would suggest bringing in colors like green or blue.No purples or reds.Um look at a color wheel to help to have really complementay colors that will make your room great.Good luck on decorting!

I would give you the actual definiton, but it looks like others have already.It basically can mean you have different personalities.Major mood swings.Sometimes depression.If you are worried you might have this diesease talk with your doctor to recieve help.
