Lately i've been really ill and i know it's not just a commen cold.

- Sore throat
- Headaches
- Sneezing
- Tired

I just feel really bad. Does anyone know what this is??

I had the exact same things. I've been taking benedryl at night and a form of sudafed during the day. Ask your mom to go to Walgreens or wherever and find some medecine that has your symptoms. Hope you feel better!!

For my fourteeth birthday my parents have decided that I can get a cartilage piercing. I was really excited and told my friends. One of them got this pained look on her face and said that when her sister got her cartilage pierced, she fainted because it hurt so bad. My other friend told me her piercing didn't hurt one bit. Now I'm confused. On a scale of 1 to 10 how much does it hurt?

I had it done and it honestly didn't hurt. It felt like a slight sting. The cartilage area is tender after that though. For a few weeks I couldn't sleep on that side. It's really not that bad just make sure you keep it clean and don't touch it!! Ok Good luck and really don't worry!!

so im a pretty big guy, 16 and a junior. I know a very intelligent freshmen and would consider asking her out on a date or somthing. only thing is she is a little small and she is a freshman. the freshman part wouldnt be so bad if she wasnt as underdeveloped. it would feel awkward to do anything intimate with her since i would feel she is a bit small. well, it's up to you guys. do i ask her out and just wait for the day when she gets a little more physically mature to have an intimate moment, or do I hold off on asking her out untill next year when it will be a bit less unusual, Senior Sophmore. but if i do that i run the risk of losing her intrest or my own intrest in her. any advice is appreciated :)

Ok if you like her does it matter how developed she is? You have two years on her thats a lot of growing time. You make it sound like you'll be doing a lot with her as soon as you go out. If you want a relationship it actually takes time. Everyone has their flaws. I'm sure you do too. If you like her just accept it. You can wait if you want to, but its doubtful she'll wait a year for you. It's your decision. Maybe get to know her better. You might know her very well I don't know. I would just make sure you like her for her. She will grow just maybe not as fast as most. Good luck..

14/f 8th grade. Here latley I've been really depressed because almost everyone in my grade has been out with someone and has had a bf or gf. I haven't. And I've been noticing that whenever I watch a movie or something and a couple has a sweet little kiss or something, it just kinda bums me out because i always dream of having a cute, hot, sweet, nice boyfriend and here latley i've been dreaming of that first kiss. and it makes me really depressed. i mean, what if i never meet that one special person to be in high school with, and what if i never find someone that i will marry and have a family with. this all just makes me really depressed. i mean, obviously no one likes me because no one has ever asked me out or anything, well, at least no one i like. haha. anyways, what can i do to get over this? i know that i'm not even in high school yet, but what if i don't ever find anyone?! this is making me soo sad. help!!!!!! thank ya much!!!

I went through the same thing for quite a while. It just so happens when I least expected it the right guy came. I know someone who didn't have their first boyfriend til 16 and same with their first kiss, but now she's very happy. She has a boyfriend who loves her and has a good relationship. You will find someone. There will be more guys in highschool. Most guys now don't have the balls to ask a girl they like out and if they do odds are their not the good ones.. Just try and become friends with more guys. Maybe put yourself out there go to mixers and flirt with the guys your interested in. Ok not too much flirting because it can annoy the hell outta them. Just enough for them to get the hint. Mind you guys in 8th grade are very imature. You are probably looking for a relationship most of them can't give you. Seriously, just wait and the right guy will come! You could just try to establish your best friends and worry about boys later. You will not be alone forever trust me! Ok I hope you feel better!!

i'm playing softball in the spring and i want to make the team, i'm already a good athlete, like i'm fast and coordinated usually, but i'm out of shape at the moment so i was wondering if anyone had good exercises and drills i can do to help me get back in shape, but also that are good for softball training?

Well besides the basic running, you can do sit ups and things like that to build up your stomach. You can do throwing drills such as putting up a square of tape on a wall and throwing a ball at it. It helps for accuracy. Playing catch with someone. Going to the batting cages. Having someone hit you grounders and pop flies. I would really just practice the basics like that. I would get used to fielding/hitting a lot and also running. Good Luck!

Ok I play select and ITS JUST AS HARD AS FRICKEN BASEBALL!!! Not all softball is slow pitch the slow pitch is for the old men! I mean Jinny Finch pitched to the whole cardinals team and they could barely hit anythig off of her! Ok besides that..sorry lol I like it because it is a fun game to play. It gives you exercise. You get to meet new people and friends. It helps dedicate you to something. It gives me an adrenaline rush and makes me feel amazing. It let's me show people what I am capable of. I love throwing the ball with all the force I have and swinging and makin the ball go way out in the outfield. It gives me a feeling that I am good at something and get praised by the crowd and friends for doing a good play. That's my reasons!!!Have fun writing that!

No, your voice is still maturing and your going through puberty. Your voice probably hasn't cracked yet. Don't worry, it will soon!!! All my guy friends are or have gone through this!! Its normal!

I don't know what group to place it in, but it is mental I can tell you that. My boy friend was the best person you could have ever imagined. Even though he is only 14 [so am I, female] He was great. He has the potential to do anything he sets his mind to, music, school, great with kids & adults, wonderful. One of the ,main thing I was attracted to, was his childness-ish. He was funny, not in a dirty way either, didn't swear, proclaimed to be saved and was ever-so respectful.

After about a few months af dating I allowed french kissing and holding, sorta a low quality makeout.Then it grew and grew, now, we didn't get into sex or anything and stayed on top of clothes, but I noticed a difference in him, about two months ago.He has always told me how he feel about everything, absolutely EVERYTHING, I asked him what was wrong, hios reply was always something but he never got to the point. I started telling him that there was somthing he wasn't telling me, he would always say no, there wasn't.

After a long while of thinking, praying and asking God for guidance, I realised that we should never have started the whole "kissing process" so we could regenerate our relationship, the way it was before. At first he was scared, he'd say "What?I thought everything was fine, why shouldn't we?" and My answer would alaways be "It is wrong and I believe God would rather otherwise" Then there'd be a conflict, and those always hurt the heart.

Now he gave me his msn password and I thought "I don't have anything to hide or lose" so I gave him mine. He forgot that He gave me his password and the other days I checked it.Was I ever shocked, hurt, crushed, heart broken...It just hurt so much, I was crying outloud saying "no....no, he couldn't have done this to me..." He had "porn4free!", "sexsearch", "you have received a wink from...blahdiblahblah"
PAIN CRWLS IN, I...I COULDN'T BREATH, I FELT AS IF IT WAS ALL MY FAULT AND THAT I WAS BLIND TO NOT HAVE SEEN IT COMMING.

Later to find out, He called me [after I ave him my two cents on msn, really, it wasn't much] He denied it, telling me they were spams...right.I didn't believe him, he blamed it on his computer breaking, and It was right in front of my face...all of it, his name, his way of talking, even his special password was there... the girls... the pain was Unbearable :"( ... Everytime I gave him proof, he said sorry and agreed...and He kept telling me half truths, I got him to tell his parents and they have taken the computer away form him for a month.

What could I do to help him[he said it started about after we stopped the kissing process [which was two months ago]And I want to know What can I do, how should I react? What can HE do, It is 2:30 in the morning, I couldn't sleep, I was bawling my eyes out and dind't want to bother everyone else.So I came down, wanting to ask questions to people, including you people.

Well no offence, but it's not as big of a deal as you think. Most guys look at porn, it doesn't make him a bad person. It showed he really loves/likes you, HE TOLD HIS FREAKING PARENTS ABOUT IT!!!!That shows he was truly sorry. Sometimes when you start kissing your hormoines get all crazy and you want more. He knew he wouldn't be getting it from you and probably didnt want to ask you too. Kissing isn't that big of a deal either, just because you kiss doesn't mean your going against God in anyway. It's showing affection for your boyfriend, it's not like you were doing it to be dirty or show it off to other people. Talk to him, ask him why he looked at it. Forgive him, he wasn't trying to hurt you!! Yeah I know it hurts when you see that your boyfriend is looking at other woman naked and you get a little jelous too, but we all make mistakes. If you think he's worth all this trouble then forgive him and make him promise not to do it again. It's pretty normal for teenaged guys to do this. So don't worry, take a breather and talk to him!! Yes its normal. Sometimes your body can't wait that long w/o having your period so it spots a little. Its perfectly normal. Don't worry.

my sister is 2 grades ahead of me and almost 3 inches taller, and we weigh the same. should i be losing weight? every inch in your height is supposed to be 5 pounds, so that means i should lose 15 pounds to be a healthy weight, right? i'm so confused. help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Oh thats kinda like me and my sister. It's because she was around the same weight as me but once she hit about 17 she lost A LOT of weight. Don't worry I'm sure you'll do the same. Don't worry!! Don't lose weight if you don't need to. If you want to feel better you could work out, but don't kill yourself.

Me and a few friends are planning to hangout tonight, but we cant come up with any ideas! We arent looking to spend a whole lot of money because we are all budgeting to save money up for school. The only idea I have so far is to rent a movie and have a girls night in, but that may tend to get boring. Any creative ideas?

You could do that and have a scavenger hunt. My sisters friends always buy ice cream and pig out and they make their own pizza's. You could play truth or dare, the water game, or the other water game. lol I'll explain. Water game #1. Everyone will have a cup of water or another beverage. Then you'll go in a circle saying stuff like "I've never made out" and the people that have take a drink. Then you do a differn't round and go w/ stuff you have done and those who haven't take a drink. You keep switching on and off. Then the other game is where you take a big drink of water where your mouth is full. Then another person does the same and your friends try to make you guys laugh and whoever spits it out first looses. Do crazy make overs. Take weird pics. Do prank phone calls. Go walking. Have fun!!

My boyfriend is 16 and I am 13, I know that is kind of a big age difference but he's alot more mature. It doesn't sound like he's just going out w/ you for sex because he knows you won't and your inexperienced and sounds like he just likes you for you. Yet, those could just be lines. Set boundaries with him. Just sit him down and say I'm only 13 and I'm not ready to do anything but make out. If he ever tries to pressure you, DUMP HIM!! He's just some boy, don't do anything stupid. Your only 13 you don't need to be tied down to some boy, you don't owe him anything!! hey everyone... im 13/f and I have a serious problem sweating underneath my arms. I have tried a couple special deoderants, but they didn't work. Once I started shaving my under-arms last year was when all the sweating started.I heard there was a shot you could get to stop/not swaet as much...?? Oh God, I have the same problem lol. I heard about that shot too, but I wouldn't do it. Sweating is natural and your sweating more because your body's changing it'll go back to normal when your done going through puberty. The body sweats for a reason, there could be side affects to the shot. I always just try and hide it. Like if I raise my hand in school I put my other hand under my armpit and have the hand raised leaning against it. I'm just really honest about my sweating, no one can make fun of you if you don't care and your not hiding it. Sorry, that's my opinion!!!!!

so theres this guy.. that ive liked since i was little.. and im 13 now and when we were little he use to come over alot. because he was my brothers best friend. and then he liked me too so we flirted alot.. and we really started to like eachother.. and he is 17 and i know its bad but i really think i loved him. and we dated for a month wihtout my mom knowing.. and then he broke up with me because he liked soemone else and because his dad with the age difference.. and we sitll talk alot and hang out and when we hang out we flirt but when i ask him if he likes me he says yes alot.. but he doesnt want to date .. but he might want to when we get older.. what do i do? do i just wait?

I would try to move on because if your going to wait you'll be waiting for a while. I'd move on. You can still be friends with him, but try to find differnt guys you like your age. ive been playing guitar for a year and piano for about 8 or 7, and ive been trying to write a song, but i just cant.

does anyone have any tips for writing a song with words to it on the piano or guitar? i want like a love song, thats like whats left of me or the scientist, or like that kind of song.

I've never wrote a song or anything, but think of something that really upset your or a person that makes you feel good. Just write about what you feel. Make your songs kind of a journal for yourself. Sorry that's all I can think of!
