I did some research & this is what I came across.
First of all. I would recommend telling your doctor about this problem.
Second of all. Instead of getting a shot, their is somethign called Maxim. Its $13.95. And not only can you use it for arm pits - but also your face ; feet & hands!
I will provide you with the website I read all of this info. I would consider reading it.

Sweating is natural and your sweating more because your body's changing it'll go back to normal when your done going through puberty. The body sweats for a reason, there could be side affects to the shot. I always just try and hide it. Like if I raise my hand in school I put my other hand under my armpit and have the hand raised leaning against it. I'm just really honest about my sweating, no one can make fun of you if you don't care and your not hiding it. Sorry, that's my opinion!!!!! LM answered Thursday August 3 2006, 4:39 pm: The shot you're talking about is Botox injactions. Botox is injected into your sweat glands and it keeps you from sweating so much.
I'm not sure how old you have to be for a doctor to legally do this, since your body's changing a lot right now and it may subside on its own.
A doctor can diagnose your problem, since it may just be stress-related. From waht I read on WebMD, there's many other options besides Botox so a doctor can decide what's best for you.
