softball exercises i'm playing softball in the spring and i want to make the team, i'm already a good athlete, like i'm fast and coordinated usually, but i'm out of shape at the moment so i was wondering if anyone had good exercises and drills i can do to help me get back in shape, but also that are good for softball training?

Well besides the basic running, you can do sit ups and things like that to build up your stomach. You can do throwing drills such as putting up a square of tape on a wall and throwing a ball at it. It helps for accuracy. Playing catch with someone. Going to the batting cages. Having someone hit you grounders and pop flies. I would really just practice the basics like that. I would get used to fielding/hitting a lot and also running. Good Luck! ]
ANSWER EDIT: In response to your feedback, for your information, I was in softball. I am not answering for the sake of doing it, because I'm not a moron. You said you are fast and coordinated. You didn't say you run. One of the best ways to get into shape for sports is RUNNING. Period.
