Is she...?

Question Posted Monday February 23 2009, 10:57 pm

Ok, Im a sixteen year old male.

Me and my girl friend decided it would be romantic to lose our virginity on valentines day- I don't want any lectures about underage sex and what not. We did use a condom.

But she has been complaining about her chest and lower stomach hurting...I'm not wanting to think about it but could she be pregnant? There wasn't a break in the condom so I have no idea...

But I really hope not, I'm not saying that to be mean...But my parents told me if this happened I would be kicked out of my house...HELP.

you shouldnt worry about it.
the same thing happened to me my first time.
i was so worried about it and stressing that
my period came about a week late and i had a lot of in my lower stomach.
try not to stress about it too much
and especially not around her.
that'll cause her to stress more and probably make the pains worse.
just relax.. i know easier said than done.
good luck! hope i helped!

Nah, she's probably not pregnant. It's the side effects of her first time. And yeah, I understand the pressure it puts on yor for living in your house. That must really suck. In any case, tell her to monitor herself for her periods. If anything is of concern to her, she should seek a doctor immediately.

Alright. Legally your parents cannot even kick you out until you are eighteen, so they can say that all they want, but they won't be able to.

As for the pregnancy thing, she probably isn't. That is very good you used a condom. Keep doing that. She's probably just hurting because it was her first time. That is normal for girls.

Also if she's freaking out about the same thing, she could be making herself sick.

First I want to say congrats, sex is a big step and it sounds like you guys too enough precaution. I can almost assure you that she ISN'T pregnant. Those pains can just be from the sex alone or she might even be sore for other reasons, like maybe she is premenstral. Give it a few more weeks before you worry about anything.
As for you using a condom, that is good, always wear one! I can tell you truthfully that it does feel even more incredible without one, sometimes its not worth it! And condoms dont always work, even if they dont break, there are so many ways they could be defective. If the hought of your girlfriend getting pregnant at such a young age scares you, to be more precautious, I would reccomend using a spermicidal condom (if thats what you used then good for you). Spermicidal condoms are already lubricated (Trojan) and they are scientifically proven to reduce the number of active sperm if any sperm was to get around the condom or the condom broke. As for you parents, don't worry, they told my sister the same thing and then they begged her to come back, that's what the majority of parents do because they don't want their young children to have to grow up so fast and lose their time to live for themselves.

i don't think its pregnant.

since she was a virgin thats pretty normal to be sore for a few days after sex. You don't even need to be a virgin for it to be sore after sex for a few days its normal. Don't let it get to you. She's not pregnant.

Since you did use a condom, she probably IS NOT pregnant. She may be worried about it and making herself sick about it, but her complaints are not even pregnancy symptoms.

Not wanting someone to be pregnant is not being mean. It is being responsible. :) That is a good thing. Not just because you could get kicked out of the house, but because it would be a life altering
experience that neither of you are prepared for.

No lectures, just continue to use a condom if you do have sex. Don't be tempted to even try it for a minute to see what its like without one. While rare, pre-ejaculate could contain enough sperm to cause pregnancy.

Ok well I will start off by saying all parents say that. If it were to happen yes they would be mad and yes they may yell and be disapointed but rarely do paretns ever kick their child out. Be honest from the first min and they will understand a lot more then the lieing.
Ok to move on.... No she shouldn't be pregnant not unless the condom really did break.... It would be to soon to tell anyway. Feb. 14 was like what a week ago... You definitly can't tell in 1 week if your pregnant. It usually takes 4-6weeks unless you def. know what you are looking out for.
For a lot of women the first time is scary and may get worried about nothing. Also having sex for the first time for the most part can hurt a women. It is sensitive for women. She will get use to it and the pain will go away.
As you said you don't want lectures but I will say ALWAYS WEAR A CONDOM! That is all I am going to say.
This is a lot of information but if you are ready to have sex you can handle hearing all the female issues that go with.

Good Luck...Be Carefull!!!
