Additional info, added Monday February 16 2009, 7:49 pm: Thank you for the warning. But would it really get reported? It's doing no harm. I just need to know if people consider themselves happy.. S_C answered Wednesday February 18 2009, 9:37 am: As to your additional information: I'm a site administrator and this question (to my knowledge) was not reported, nor would I have deleted it if it were.
Anyway, to answer your question:
Am I happy? It really depends on which happy you are speaking of (as in Witty's answer).
To myself, I'm content with where my life is going. There are certain moments that I feel this amazing happiness radiate off of me, but for the most part, I'm just glad my life is going in the direction it seems to be traveling... [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]

Sometimes i have moments where i feel horrible, because im pregnant and sick... but the things i have in my life right now... a loving boyfriend, a healthy daughter, a place to live and call home... they make me feel happy. WittyUsernameHere answered Monday February 16 2009, 11:56 pm: How about the philosophical response. That should be fun.
What is happy? How do you define "happy"?
Is happy just a current good feeling as some have stated? Is happy waking up with enough sleep, having a decently enjoyable day, and a nice night by whatever standards you have for having a nice night?
Is it accomplishment? Is it material? Is it reaching your goals, or is it just the assurance that you have goals and know they are what you want?
Is it not having regret?
A question this simple has far too complex an answer. Happy is different things to everyone. Whatever your definition of "happy" is I doubt you're going to find an answer for whatever it is you're really looking for in someone else's happiness, or lack thereof. Sara6391 answered Monday February 16 2009, 8:40 pm: I will answer your question because I find no problem with the question. Anyway, in my opinion, I suppose i'm happy. When i take things into consideration, I feel as if I am lucky to have the things in my life: a healthy family that cares, friends, college acceptances. Everyones life can consist of the same things, but be unhappy. At points, I will admit I am unhappy. I get frustrated easily and I wish I wouldnt and I also wish that even though I get along with my family, I feel as if I could do absolutely fine without them and sometimes don't care if I didn't have them anymore. Soo, to answer your question, in larger concepts, I am happy, because when I think about it, I am luckier than other people, but I do wish I had a different life or sometimes wish my life would end just because. But at the end of the day, I am very happy and comfortable with what I have. [ Sara6391's advice column | Ask Sara6391 A Question ]
LiSaxOBaBii answered Monday February 16 2009, 8:37 pm: At this particular moment no...just because I woke up later than usual this morning and it made me disoriented, but lately...yes, I've been very excited with the direction my life is taking. (college...guitar lessons...figuring out who I am) It's all left me very fulfilled. [ LiSaxOBaBii's advice column | Ask LiSaxOBaBii A Question ]
